- In some episodes you can hear birds chirping.
- In some episodes you can hear insects buzzing.
- At least one episode contains a chorus of frogs.
- A few episodes have the hum of an air conditioner.
- Many episodes were recorded in or near and idling truck.
- No episodes have music
- I think there are three episodes where I talk for about thirty seconds. Those episodes are not named “Two Minutes of Silence ###” so they are easy to spot and you can avoid them if you want to.

This is being uploaded later than usual because at the end of my work day yesterday I found myself parked at a turn-out at the intersection of Nevada Highway 360 and US Highway 6. It was a quiet and remote location and there was absolutely no cell service.
Every day I stop for two minutes and record the sounds around me. That’s what this podcast is. Two minutes of ambient sound.
I used my iPhone to record this episode. This was done all in one take. No edits. This is what this place sounded like.
