Ephesians 5:1-2 In verse 2 you’ll see the little phrase, “walk in love.” That’s how we are to live as Christians, in terms of our lives and lifestyles. We are to Walk in Love with the Holy Spirit to guide us and empower us, that’s how we become Imitators of God.
Over the past weeks we've been told to put off the old self and put on the new. But what does the new look like? Here starting at verse 25, the Apostle Paul describes what this new self looks like, and how we ought to behave, how we ought to live.
Ephesians 4:17-24 In our text today, Paul describes what it means to put off the old self and put on the new self in Christ.
In our message today, Paul talks about the subject of spiritual growth in the body of Christ. When a Christian uses his or her gifts to serve others, the result is spiritual growth. We are to be growing to be more like Christ
In our message today we are told why God gave the church the Apostles, the Prophets, the Evangelists, and the Pastors and Teachers. Ephesians 4:12-13
In our message today, we’re going to begin to look at the Gifts that God Gives to the Church. And, we’ll get to why He did that in next week’s message when we cover verses 12-13.
As we celebrate Father's today, we look at the story of Jairus and his sick and dying daughter. We see that Jairus is a great example for all fathers to follow. This passage teaches us some valuable lessons about faith and obedience. Jairus' faith in Christ forever changed his household. We, as fathers, would do well to emulate his example of how to trust the Lord with the lives of our children and grandchildren..
As we enter the second half of Ephesians; the first half being the doctrinal section, and starting in chapter 4 we begin to enter the practical application section. In theses verse today, Paul tells the church how to walk a walk worthy of our calling and how we have unity in our walk.
Ephesians 3:12-21 Paul is once again on his knees praying that the church will truly know the love of Christ Jesus, that surpasses knowledge.
