Up until 2020 I primarily thought of wealth in relation to how many dollars I had in the bank, with little understanding of how fragile the value of those dollars truly was. Events that took place in 2020: specifically the mass handout of stimulus and the $3 Trillion increase in debt over just 3 months, showed me how quickly the dollar could be devalued and prompted me at that time to make investments in things with historically durable value. This video talks about how fiat currency relates to sheep in my particular journey.

In recent years, bureaucracy has become a reign of terror within the USA. Departments, agencies, and administrations have been increasingly used as tools to grab at essential civil liberties. The Amish farmer case, which I covered in depth on this channel, being one that highlights the extent to which bureaucracy (both state and federal) has taken hold on the food industry (if you missed any part of that coverage, I will link the playlist in the description of this video) Cases like that of the Amish Farmer leave many of us asking “how have administrations and unelected officials attained so much authority over private citizens and businesses?” The answer lies largely in what is known as the Chevron Deference, a legal doctrine that was the result of a 1984 Supreme court ruling. This doctrine mandated that judges within federal courts submit (or defer) an agency’s interpretation of silent or ambiguous statutes within a law, so long as the interpretation was deemed reasonable. Fortunately 12 weeks ago, after 40 years of precedence, the Chevron Deference was struck down by the Supreme Court of the United States as being unconstitutional and “fundamentally misguided”. However, 40 years of precedence was enough time to leave a serious mark on patterns and behaviors within US government. Behaviors that thankfully are no longer hedged by legal precedence, but behavior that must be reshaped by the demands of a properly-educated American public. This video is going to tell you what the Chevron Deference was for 40 years, how Chevron covertly funneled a dangerous level power to the executive branch, and finally, I am going to suggest what will be required in order to turn what is now (in my opinion) neutral ground into positive territory. I will also break down how this will impact food freedom cases like that of the Amish farmer.

The “Amos Miller” story has gained momentum around the web as the USDA has restrained and raided his organic farming operation in Bird in Hand, PA. Amos miller produces chemical free grass fed beef, pork, chicken, dairy, and fermented foods; distributing to his customer base of 4,000. Here are 3 facts that reveal what is really happening at Miller’s Organic Farm. 1. The USDA is specifically targeting Miller’s Organic meat processing operation, not his entire farm. Amos Miller processes and distributes beef, poultry, and pork which he processes in one of his self-made processing facilities. Animals are processed under the inspection and oversight of Amos Miller and not the USDA. According to USDA regulations, meat must be processed under the direct oversight of a USDA agent if it is going to be distributed direct to consumer. This regulation give the USDA direct control of the farm to consumer meat supply. However, setting the element of control aside, processing at a USDA facility poses problems for Miller’s customers. USDA processing facilities spray meat carcasses with citric acid, a chemical compound that produces allergic reactions in some of Miller’s customers. 2. MIller’s operation is healing not harming the public. 3. Miller is not being allowed to choose his own attorney. Federal Judge Edward G. Smith ruled that in the USDA vs. Amos Miller case “Amos Miller does not have the right to choose his own attorney”. Miller is taking his appeal to Third Circuit in Philadelphia. Miller states: “we have come to realize that the only way to save our hard working farmers and healthy foods is to legally challenge the government”.

Cattle industry leader Corbitt Wall, host of the FEEDER FLASH at NationalBeefWire.com gives an update on drought conditions across Texas. In his words, the effects of this drought combined with economic factors (fuel and fertilizer prices) are "unbelievable" with 3 mile line of trailers for the dropoff line at Emory Texas sale barn. The sale barn received such a surplus that they were auctioning off cattle through 5am the next morning. This sale barn was 30 miles south of me. My local sale barn was packed and I was an eyewitness to these unbelievable lines.. It is real.

Due to my intensive rotational grazing program with my flock of Dorper Sheep, forage production across my 23 acres EXPLODED last year. With the extra grass I custom grazed a herd of 14 beef cows. This was a mixed herd of cows, steers, and a bull. In this video I explain how I am overwintering the cattle with no hay. I also talk about how to protein supplement for poor quality pasture.
