On 6th August 2001, the first version of NER*D’s In Search Of… was released in Europe. An electronically created version of the album, which preceded a re-release of the album (initial release for the U.S.) in early 2002, re-recorded with live instruments with the band Spymob.
For this episode, Brent and Eric of Spymob join Steve to discuss the album and some of their experiences recording it 20 years ago.

Shae kindly blessed me with an interview this weekend while we were all in Turku, Finland, for Ruisrock (a yearly Finnish summer festival). For those that follow NER*D, you'll know that Shae doesn't really do much press, so this really was a surprise.
I'll keep the details here brief as we'll talk about this on an up-coming podcast, but Shae was happy to chat about pretty much anything - to the point where we went long. Shae was also kind enough to upgrade our already VIP passes to AAA so that we could link up later for some pictures and fan-boying from me and my son.
This led to Brent showing us around backstage, us getting to hang out, and Shae and Pharrell coming to say hello and talk to us. And, yes, I nearly choked up when telling Pharrell how much this all meant to me!
Also, a huge thank you to Brent, again, Shae, Alex, Cori, Mike, Pharrell, Chad, and all of the i am OTHER staff/dancers/band who were so friendly and made us all feel so welcome!

Contest Rules:

Tasks will be explained on the podcast. We will not post additional information about them on social media and will not re-explain them (unless there are changes). So listen, pay attention and use your common sense.
Each task must be completed within 5 days of the episode airing (so subscribe and turn on notifications for new episodes). We’ll retrospectively check the dates of each entrants’ tasks.
If you don’t manage to complete a task, keep completing all the following ones – you will not be disqualified for missing a task.

We refuse the right to use any submitted audio or video from users in the podcast and within audio/video promotion material which we may share via the podcast, website and social platforms.

The prize will consist of one pair of Bape Pharrell Roadstas supplied from the personal collection of DT. One size (approx mens US 8-11). No exchanges for other colours, kicks etc.
Should we find the shoes on sale anywhere in the future, we refuse the right to bar the winner of the contest from future participation in giveaways and contests via any of our outlets (including personal accounts). So if you win but they’re not your size, at least be discreet if you’re going to sell them on to someone else.
We refuse the right to ban entry to any user, at any point, during the content (i.e. should we believe there has been cheating, asking for favours/answers from hosts or other members etc). Bans are final and can only be reversed upon agreement from both SP and DT.
