D. Channsin Berry is a filmmaker, as well as a prolific songwriter and painter. Mr. Berry started his career in New York radio at WBLS (FM) under the leadership of mentor and friend Frankie Crocker and after spending 5 years in radio in the Bay Area, he moved to Los Angeles for a position in the Walt Disney Studios Feature Film Financing Division. Mr. Berry went on to write and direct music videos for artists such as Chaka Khan and Dionne Warwick, to name a few. Mr. Berry also directed the PRAME Awards (Blacks in Advertising). Mr. Berry then used his music talent to write songs for Pop/R&B Diva Chaka Khan, Jazz vocalist Mary Stallings, Prince/Rosie Gaines, and Jazz Legend Nancy Wilson (2006 Grammy Award Winning CD “Turned to Blue”).

My question would be, why would they say something like that? I am sure you would ask the same question because no parent would ever expect the children to say something that cruel, and if they did you would be speechless as I would be myself.
We ask our children to be perfect, when in their eyes we are far from perfect. Instead of providing a vehicle for them to conqueror their failures all we do is criticize and tear them down while learning to navigate through life.
4 Things happen when don’t allow our children to make mistakes
- 1. They lose confidence in themselves and us as parents
- 2. They Lose Trust
- 3. They Lose Hope
- 4. They believe there is no reason to try and please you because it is impossible
What is the answer to cultivating a healthy loving and trusting relationship with your child?
- 1. Teach them through their challenges
- 2. Stop talking and blaming and start listing
- 3. Hug them and tell them you love them often
- 4. Show them you love them (that doesn’t mean given to every request
- 5. Extend grace to them as you would expect for yourself

Are You Suffering From A Identity Crisis?
You’re probably thinking it can be extremely challenging to identify who is the fake/imposter. Not really; it's very easy. Simply start looking at what God designed, planned, and purposed for you to be. Question answered. But, you may be a person who has a problem or concerns with God and Spiritual things and think you are being judged.
In that case, let's go to the dictionary. Chose 5-character traits that you believe help describe you or that you identify with that would make you the best possible person you can be. Now every waking moment you have to start walking and living those character traits. Anything and anybody who prevents, distracts, or takes away your ability to be those things must be removed from your life. That doesn’t mean you’re mad at them or you’ve stopped loving them. Nothing against them, but distractions hinder you from focusing and establishing roots in those character-building traits.

George and Cassandra have three amazing adult children George III 39, Mariama 34 and Ayana 32 as well as six grandchildren. After graduating High School, he went on to receive two degrees, one in Criminal Justice and the other in Business Management, both from the University of Phoenix.
George has been involved in establishing three companies, Soaring Eagle International robotics service company, Violet’s Cakes Bakery, and a non-profit sports organization that has helped hundreds of children throughout the world with after school studies. George also sat on the Board that oversees the sports complex owned by the federal government which allows children in the community to have a place to play safely.
George has been a High-School Sports Coach for Northridge Academy and Chaminade Middle School in Los Angeles, CA for the past four years. He is also an actor and does Commercials on a regular basis. In his spare time George is a pillar of his community working with the LA Unified School District, and Recreational Programs and has been for the past fifteen years.
George has helped hundreds of business professionals to build confidence, increase their self-esteem, grow their business, manage employees, and expand their goals and expectations nationally and internationally. Despite his numerous experiences and accolades, George remains, authentic, remarkably humble, and a very engaging speaker.
