The redefine podcast is a platform created by three young women seeking to inspire others to challenge false narratives and redefine their lives as they see fit.
We also seek to showcase black talent that exists within Scotland through a series of interviews. We interview people in different career paths, those just starting out and those with years of experience redefining every step of their journey!

On this week's episode, we take the time to reflect on all the episodes we have covered thus far as this episode marks the season Finale. We are grateful for everyone who has tuned in to listen to the podcast and those that have shared it. We also reflect on some of the things we have learned about ourselves and our surroundings throughout the season.
In this episode, We celebrate being black. We understand that a lot of things have happened over the last couple of months and despite some of the challenges we have gone through, we wanted to highlight some of the things that have brought us joy. We also talk about some of the amazing things we have seen either in the media or that some of the people we know personally have done and celebrate them. We also touch on Inclusion and diversity, what we believe is the difference and what can be done in order to help bring about change.

On this week's episode, we talk to Ashley, who works in the Accounting and finance sector. Ashley shares the importance of work experience, how to beef up your CV and how to apply your skills in the world of work.
We also talk about overcoming imposter syndrome and the importance of acknowledging your rights to the position you hold at your work place especially as a minority.
She also gives valuable advice on how to set foot in the public sector and encourages more black representation within the sector as well.

On this week's episode, we speak to Chloe, a fashion graduate who decided to take the leap into entrepreneurship. She is the founder of two businesses. One of her as the brand- Chloe Nalwoga where she designs and sells luxurious digital and handmade wall coverings and SVN studios which is a brand that sells phone cases.
She goes in depth to describe her journey into entrepreneurship and the background story to each business venture. We also discuss some of the challenges she has faced, the in-between stages and the triumphs.

On this week’s episode, we speak to Wallace, a Volunteers Coordinator Manager who shares his experiences and challenges on some of our thoughts on volunteering.
We discuss the importance of volunteering and highlight the lack of representation within the third sector. We explore some of the contributing factors to the lack of representation including race, gender and age.
In light of the Black lives matter movement, Wallace also shares some of the important work he has done with the police. He touches on the importance of detainees being made aware of their rights and the importance of keeping the police accountable.
On this week's episode, We speak to Solomon, an Accounting with Finance graduate with a masters in Quantity Surveying.
He currently works as a Quantity Surveyor and shares his journey on how he got into his current role. He goes in depth to describe what his role actually entails and gives us an insight into the job application process.
We also discuss the importance of tailoring your CV, Cover letter and how to best prepare for Assessment Centres. We believe this is the perfect guide for anyone wanting a career in this field, coupled with valuable advice for anyone currently seeking employment.

On this episode, we sit down with Jema a Pharmacology graduate to discuss the various opportunities that have come her way through networking and being open to new experiences. Jema shares her career journey and some of the challenges she has faced working within the pharmaceutical industry.
On this week's episode, we interview a guest by the name Rutendo, a Psychology and Counselling graduate and discuss mental health within the Black community.
We touch on barriers that can delay help seeking, counselling, therapy, self care & the strong black woman stereotype and how it affects black women.
We also speak on where to find help and provide a number of organisations for people to look into.
