The Book Boat
Join educators Alejandra and Jocelyn as they dive into the world of diverse literature that can be used in classrooms to create more inclusive, welcoming classroom environments. Each podcast features exciting books that include topics such as race, gender, immigration, and so much more. All books can be utilized in a classroom in fun and exciting ways.
Alejandra and Jocelyn have done extensive research on how to create a space for critical dialogue within their classrooms but using children’s literature as a the key to unlocking a whole new level of learning.
That is a wrap for Season 2! In this episode we feature two books on the AAPI community and we reflect back on our first year teaching.
