First, we discuss the US Pluto Return on Jul 10th. This is the second of three exact hits, but as is usual for Pluto transits, the overall significance unfolds over the years. Major historic events tend to play out near the exact hit, which is in effect all month. On July 29th, 2022, Jupiter Turns Retrograde at 8° Aries. When a slow-moving planet like Jupiter changes direction, we all notice it. Jupiter rules our beliefs, goals, and our big WHY. Why are we doing what we are DOING? The most significant transit is on July 31 when the North Node conjuncts Uranus in Taurus. We have not given airtime to the North Node but we all have one in our chart. The North Node acts like the north star, guiding us, and revealing new paths, groups, and interests. The North Node brings healing breakthroughs, and evolution and is associated with karma, spiritual or soul growth. Lunar nodes are points in the sky that are (almost) always moving retrograde. The points are slow moving; spending about 18 months in each sign.
Nodes can be controversial for some, particularly for those who believe “that anyone can grow up and become President” or in other words that each person is in full control of their future. But for those who lean a bit into the concept of “why am I here on Earth?” it is easiest think of the South Node as something that you excelled in a previous lifetime. On today’s episode Mom and Me discuss Pluto Retrograde. Pluto will RX retrograde at 28 degrees of Capricorn on Apr 29th 2022. The degree on which a planet goes stationary is important. A planet retrograding slows down, just as a car slows down as it approaches a stop sign. Pluto is notoriously slow-moving taking roughly 248 years to make a revolution around the sun, but it moves even slower prior to turning Retrograde. As we speak, Pluto is pumping the breaks on 28 degrees of Capricorn. Pluto will remain at 28 degrees through Jun 21st so if you were born around the 18th of January, you are feeling the effects of Pluto conjuncting your Sun. You may feel there are changes which are out of your control. The USA’s natal Pluto sits at 28 degrees Capricorn so we will also be experiencing our second hit of the Pluto Return on July 11th.
Next we will discuss the upcoming Lunar Eclipse on May 15 at 25 degrees of Scorpio. Lunar Eclipses are associated with endings. The story is complete or finished. Currently, the Lunar eclipses are occurring in Taurus and Scorpio– suggesting that Taurus’ and Scorpios may be seeking changes in their lifestyle.
