Planet Country is the home of New Country in Australia. The show airs every Thursday night at 6pm Sydney time on Alive 90.5 and streaming worldwide through TuneIn. Presented by Big Stu & MJ, the show plays and talks about the biggest hits and newest releases in New Country from Australia and the world. Big Stu & MJ also keep it real with hilarious jokes, comedy skits and fun segments in between.
New Country is the collective term for the modern sound and direction that is country-rock, country-pop, country-rap, country-hip hop & cross genre collaborations with country artists. The term has been popularised in America but is yet to catch on in Australia even though the genre is a huge success.
Big Stu & MJ make a long awaited return with a live video special 'Live At The Ranch'. Much of your favourite show features return alongside special guests Christie Lamb, Katie Jayne, Demage and Jay Seeney. Music removed for copyright.
