May 20th, 2005 - Loretta Chaisson Lewis' body was pulled out of the Grand Marais Canal. She is victim number one in the case known as the Jennings 8.
April 20th, 2005 - There is a police raid at the home of Harvey Burleigh. This raid left one man, Leonard Crochet, dead. A few of the Jennings 8 victims were witness to this shooting and there is also a theory, that this is what started the Jennings 8 murders.
