There is a common myth in high-level sports that every error or mistake that is made in the game is caused by physical weakness. That athlete isn’t strong enough or that athlete isn’t fast enough. All the athlete needs to do is spend more time in the weight room and that mistake, weakness and/or error will not happen again. In my younger years working as a Strength and Conditioning coach for the Castlemont football I can say that I contributed to that myth:) The goal of this TDR is to teach us that the physical role in sports plays a small role relative to the Big picture of high-level sports performance.
