THANKS FOR YOUR SUPPORT!!!

<< SPOTLIGHT - My first five in the spotlight are my DJ mixes. FACTORY is my long running series of 30 years. The first of 2022 right at the top. This should be considered the best mix of my career and allow me to explain. I finally got my graphics & sound design where they needed to be all along. This happened during covid lockdown.

Now everything said and done, the great reset is what it is. And I span the previous 30 years in a two hour set. I really focused on everyone I ever met and touched with my music. It won't disappoint. Every mix of (5) in the spotlight can be downloaded for free. Yes, I give it all away free. After the five mixes are singular studio works & remixes.

These too can be downloaded. I'm making more tracks then ever. These I do for free too. Not like I don't want to get paid, but I'm kind of in a mode where I don't want to chase a paper trail. When something big comes my way, I will entertain any proposals.

I realize this is Soundcloud & not Beatport or Spotify. While I support all artist platforms, I'm making way too many tracks these days to worry about release dates. I can finish a track and have it up on Soundcloud in 15 minutes. It's now a deep scroll but 100 tracks deep, there is great stuff to be found.

My DJ mixes get more attention here then my single productions. I only started doing this recently. If you do a super scrol down the page my other DJ mixes are buried down the page. For now I just gotta keep moving forward. 2022 is going to be an awesome year for music, so I just gotta keep doing what I been doing.

If the past four years have proven anything, it's not time to rest on anything because times have changed. Factory is my mix-tape series from 30 years ago. Search on Youtube "FACTORY 1 - FRANKIE BONES", At that moment on July 4th, 1992 the future had arrived. So many years later I had to deliver something magical for 2023. To manifest the desire to produce something that goes far into the future in my own lane. To lead & not follow. Whatever higher power I have is nothing short of the ultimate blessing. Not to sound silly here but there were many forces trying to stop me dead in my tracks, and yet I made it past the offense, the ops, the gangstalkers and whoever really thought they could stop me.The music itself has humbled me out, that is why there is no speech or vocal content as an intro. The music as always should speak in volume. The real home of Techno is where it is the loudest. Thanks to All.

Based on "Take Me To Church" by Billy Kenny, I somehow figured out what the true sound of Burning Man should be. And came up with a dusty & trippy breaks joint which is quite fitting.

Puffin Billy damn it...LOL...my man Billy Bunter as it goes, we are walking in Hackney, 2018. His Missus and mine, 2018 again, she comes running up with a newspaper from 1935, in tact, "Da fuq"? Apparently there was a bunch of them coming from a building under renovation. we all had a great night that night. How the bird would fly the couple and wind up M.I.A. just a short time afterwards? Another story for another time. It's not a perfect love, but don't you want some more? Asking for a friend.

My tribute mix for our fallen soldier, a man like Paul Johnson. That being said this version was created a year ago right after his untimely passing. Last August we brought Bad Boy Bill out, Smooth Groove for Magestic Groove. BBB closed out with Paul's original and I gave respects and started my set with this version. It was pretty epic.

tresor.west in Dortmund is a 3 1/2 hour train ride from Berlin. On arrival I was informed that I was playing in their House room which was kind of unexpected. You go to Germany with Techno on your mind and to be completely transparent & honest, most DJ's in this situation would fold.

I have my emergency USB on my key chain wherever I go. This USB contains a wide selection of "party music". Without much thought I go in, and some kind of magic happened.

TRESOR.BERLIN / DJ FRANKIE BONES / JULY 1, 2022 - First things first, it was great to be able to fly to Berlin to play Tresor after the Covid-19 outbreak & lockdown of 2020/2021. It's been three years for me not being in Europe. My last European gig was at Tresor in 2019.

I've been through it all in the past few years, it's humbled me out and allowed me enough time to really focus on myself as a DJ and I've come to a new level of understanding.

Levelled up. Way up. I know what I am up against in these times. The way I play and the way I select tunes is why Tresor books me year after year. This is my second Soundcloud mix of 2022, so I knew in advance I would have to really step things up and this won't disappoint.

My objective here is for you the listener to hear things you don't hear from anyone else. And to be blown away by it. To stand out in the digital blob of endless DJ mixes you are bombarded with every single day.

To know people I consider friends get annoyed when I DM them this special moment. Sign of the times. But I'm being honest. This needs to be heard.

Riding a perfect parallel between 1988 and 2022, the early KMS classic "The Sound" gets a redux. Could be a Remix, I'm going with Redux simply because I wasn't taking it serious while making it. I didn't set out to do a remix, just kind of happened.

I listened to a bunch of people's Soundcloud pages today. Since my own page is filled with tracks that don't actually exist anywhere else but inside my head & Soundcloud itself, of course it gives me an advantage,

I really don't have an objective here. It's like watching the world go by with no direction at all. I am having fun doing it. Not really caring about what tomorrow brings.

I would imagine if I saw a ghost, I too would scream and run straight to the cops. Problem with that is that most ghosts I know have that invisible flair. So while I am pointing at thin air getting dismissed by local law enforcement, Maybe just dance.

The original Chicago ghetto master DJ DEEON release from Detroit's Twilight 76 gets an update. Spread Love, It's the BROOKLYN way,....

They only get better over time. The 1988 "Work That Mutha F*cker" pancaked with the flipside "Computer Madness" and then given a Brooklyn Rinse for good measure. Everything sits right with this one because it's not taken out of context which is a problem with remixes these days.

The Pilots Glory is a weird phenomena I only witnessed once back in 2013 on a flight to Chicago. It was around the time when I first figured out the multiverse. Way before the Spider-Man movies. But I only really understood this multiverse through genres of music. And even still with that, it took a book called "Join The Future" (Bleep Techno & British Bass Music)written in 2019 but goes back to 1990 to understand the depth.

It was in this book that I was described as a "Rave Evangelist" a term I have never heard before. There is some profound depth here, like public speaking or preaching to convert folks to a faith. Not religion though, but rave. We didn't use words like "Influencer" or "Urban Exploration" but before there was social networking it came down to a phone number on a record I produced.

I suppose being 20 years into the future wasn't a bad thing, that is until everyone else caught up to me putting us in 2010. I'm almost invisible today. And that is OK, because I'm the only person who has the antidote. Music. Like this, another notch in the ladder so to speak.

Come talk 2 me. I still got ideas for the future.

Techno ain't what it used to be. Or is it? Depends who you ask. My brother mentions in the book "Join The Future" that the music I brought home with me when I first played in the U.K. was indeed British Bass Music they called "Bleep Techno." And we were first followed by The Canadians and then Detroit. I always called it rave music. Music for raves. And here it is. Illegal Business Techno. It's Techno for rave minded people.

May not be something anyone expected but I made this for my NDC RADIO mix which airs as Saturday Night Sessions every Saturday Night. And it's Easter weekend.

Just for the fact that I am putting this up 40 years later to the actual release date and that I can remember being at Skate Key in The Bronx on April 17, 1982. Go ahead, look up the date, it was a Saturday Night adult skate session when Skate Key was on White Plains Road.

Afrika Bambaataa & The Soulsonic Force. Arthur Baker. John Robie. Tommy Boy Records. One of the most important Dance records of all time. 40 years. Where did all the time go.

So truth be told, the vocals are from the original version, stripped from the actual 2 inch master when Lenny Dee & I were working on a Brooklyn Funk Essentials track for Arthur back in 1988. Arthur let us spool up all the original tapes for a track called "Do You Like It." And the rest is history.

So this one, it's 90%, the vocal fly-in came off for a split second but hey here is to 40 years.

READ THIS!!!!! MCA DAY - 8.08.15 - Rob Gee and I were very excited about this and thankful we could take part in this tribute to The Beastie Boys. Many friends were curious to hear what we were going to play. The venue couldn't handle the amount of people that "Turnt" up. The organizers of MCA DAY are AWESOME people. The staff? Awesome. The crowd A W E S O M E. The people who played? AWESOME. The stage manager was the only person who I was disappointed with. A lot of people wanted to see Lords Of Brooklyn perform after DMC, and nobody cared about the schedule. The stage manager did nothing but complain. Ricky Powell's dedication went 20 minutes over and instead of doing his job, he got rude with us, shoeing us off, going "Clear".....WTF???? This event was not about Rob and I, but about a fallen soldier, MCA. So we threw in the towel. What would have happened actually did in New Jersey at a festival called FARMBLAST. I wasn't supposed to do the tribute there, but WOW, it was freaking insane. Rob did his "GEE-Isms" over these custom crafted creations and everyone loved it. It was a lot of fun. What the Soundcloud features are the "Unmixed" cuts which was created for the show. Minds would have melted in Brooklyn. Not that seeing DMC perform "Mary Mary" by himself was a problem, he was A W E S O M E too..... It's just that fading war stories from an open mic session vs. what we would have played... Well see for yourself.
