1 Corinthians 1:4–9 The gospel brings us to the end of ourselves and directs our attention back to God.
John 4:4-42 We move from mere head knowledge or intellectual assent to belief that leads to heart level change and is characterized by repentance of our sin and obedience to our Lord Jesus Christ.
2 Timothy 3:10–17 In a corrupted world God protects us from deception by giving us His word.

Luke 13:10–21 The kingdom of God has been opened by Jesus to all who would come in, to find this healing and rest. We will either respond to the invitation or reject it, however the kingdom will continue to advance.
Luke 13:1-9 In times of calamity and strife we are tempted to look outward to find answers when God may be calling us to repentance.
Luke 12:54-59 We are to evaluate the times with spiritual discernment and not miss out on what the Lord has to offer.
Luke 12:35-48 Faithfulness in the Lord’s absence looks like ready service to His kingdom and a preparedness to receive Him when He returns.
John 14:8–17 As Jesus left his people, he left them with promises to cling to and the Holy Spirit to guide them.
Luke12:22-34 We worry about trivial matters and things that are beyond our control when we lose sight of an eternal perspective and God’s plan and provision for his people.
Luke 11:29–36 For those with hard hearts, Jesus gives them a sign of his death and resurrection and a promise of judgment for unbelief.
Luke 19:28–40 In a world where self-promotion is the norm it is refreshing to be reminded of the humility of Jesus which we are to emulate.
Luke 11:5–13 We are to be bold in our asking, with persistence, and confident expectation.
Luke 11:1–4 Our Christian hope is cultivated as we pray to our loving Father in heaven and make our requests known to Him.
Luke 10:21-24 Religion turns to faith through revelation of Christ by the loving act of God.
Luke 9:28–36 A right response to the glory of God revealed in His Chosen One, Jesus Christ.
Luke 9:18-27 Once we confess that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, we cling to the cross and die to this world.
