As the NBA season winds down and the silly season picks up steam, Ossie and Joel review some of their misses from draft season in an attempt to solidify some lessons learned. Ossie cries over spilled milk (Quentin Grimes) while Joel reconsiders the future outlook for Scottie Barnes and Trey Murphy.
Back from their ASG hiatus, Joel and Ossie discuss the sad end to Victor Wembanyama's season, Bobby Portis' 25-game suspension, and the Sixers slowly circling the drain despite a massive effort from Tyrese Maxey. After working through the news du jour, the duo recap their deep league trade deadline acquisitions (Harrison Barnes and Trendon Watford for Ossie; Tosan Evbuomwan and Jordan Goodwin for Joel) and discuss dynasty strategies, including when push all in and when to lay back, how to read NBA tea leaves, the importance of monitoring 2-way contracts and roster spots. Then, Joel walks through a dynasty trade for Luka Doncic.
After the dust finally settled on a frenetic trade deadline, Ossie and Joel got up early to break down all the fantasy-relevant moves and attempted to suss out who gained and lost the most value after a hectic week of transactions. The duo discuss Doncic and Davis and De'Aaron and De'Andre and...other guys who don't have the letter "D" in their name.
After sorting through the latest injury updates -- so long, Jalen Johnson; we'll remember you fondly next draft season -- Joel and Ossie break out the crystal ball and try to gaze beyond the trade deadline in search of future value. Are there tank commanders in Brooklyn or Charlotte that are worth stashing? What would a De'Aaron Fox trade mean for Malik Monk? Then, Joel updates his "Do Not Draft List" and Ossie reexamines his Razzjam roster (4th overall when recording) to see what's propelled this group toward the top.
After some catch-up, a snow-bound Joel and sunny Ossie discuss recent transactions in their 30-team league and consider their chances at securing a title in an ultra-competitive season. Then, in an effort to locate difference-makers down the stretch, the pair try to pinpoint which organizations produce valuable deep-league contributors (Oklahoma City, Orlando, and Memphis, among others) and call out teams that hardly kick in at all (New York, Minnesota, and…the Spurs?)
After a long holiday hiatus, Ossie and Joel return to discuss how the fantasy hoops landscape has shifted during the calendar year and review some of the big movers in Ossie's midseason roto draft. How far did Tyrese Haliburton fall? Did anyone take the bait on Joel Embiid? And are the breakouts of Jalen Williams and Jalen Johnson harbingers of what's to come in drafts going forward?

Ossie returns from the IL to join Joel and the duo kick off the show discussing the surprisingly bright future in Portland and the predictably grim state of affairs for the Bucks. After considering the prospect of trading away Giannis Antetokounmpo (don't do it...yet. Maybe. Unless...), the pair examine the development of three Jalens (Williams, Duren, and Johnson), check in on the youth movement in Washington, DC, and play some sad trombone for the fantasy value of all but one of the Jazzmen in Utah.
With Ossie away, Joel is joined by Razzwriter Maks to discuss life abroad, finding a fantasy community as an American ex-pat, and early impressions of the still-young NBA season. The pair put Nikola Jokic's historic start in context, examine how Karl-Anthony Towns jumped Jalen Brunson in New York's fantasy pecking order, assess Tyrese Haliburton's bounce-back potential, and gawk at Dyson Daniels' ball-hawking ways.

The NBA season keeps rolling along and injuries are piling up, so Joel and Ossie discuss who stands to gain in the wake of the big blow to Paolo Banchero (spoiler: Jalen Suggs!), who's making the most of the opportunities in Memphis and New Orleans, and why the full strength Warriors are a fantasy minefield. Then, Ossie breaks down the opportunities that exist in buying high on a hot start -- Jordan Poole is en fuego right now -- and selling on a stumbler -- cough, cough Fred VanVleet -- before the bottom falls out.
Draft season is over and the NBA marathon is underway! As expected, CJ McCollum is returning first-round value, Zach LaVine and Nikola Vucevic look sharp while Jalen Brunson and Tyrese Haliburton scuffle, and Andrew Wiggins is outproducing Devin Booker. Pretty standard stuff, yeah? March and April are often called the "silly season" but the numbers in the season's first few weeks can also be a joke. Joel and Ossie discuss what's real, what's a mirage, and how to keep your head while all about you are losing theirs as the year's first box scores roll in.
NBA basketball is nigh! In the last hours of the preseason, Joel and Ossie review their rosters and rattle off the players they've hitched their wagons to and feel good about as well as those that came with buyer's remorse. Then, the duo gaze longingly at the players they wish they had more of and throw dirt on those that they avoided all draft season. Best of luck in your last drafts! After a weekend touching grass, Joel and Ossie return to survey the fantasy landscape now that NBA preseason is up and running. While both are wary of making dramatic conclusions based on the first games of the season, the duo nevertheless take a stab at sorting out Golden State's rotation, check in on the shooting growth (or lack thereof) on presumed starters Dyson Daniels and Jeremy Sochan, and chart where the shots are going in Sacramento. Plus, Ossie breaks down how the hometown Blazers are coping without Shaedon Sharpe to begin the year.
Timers are ticking down, projection sheets are spread wide, and queues (for goodness sake!) are being set. We're in the beating heart of draft season, so Joel and Ossie break down how to approach a format that has gotten its hooks into them: the deep draft and hold roto contest. Volume is king in roto, and together the duo discuss how to secure early-round scoring engines, skeleton key players that unlock multiple paths, and how to snag enough defensive stats without falling behind on volume categories like points and dimes. Razzball Nation! As you may or may not have read in my final "real" post, I have retired from fantasy writing and Razzball, and this is the final stop for me as we part ways. This feels so much like a breakup! But it's just closing the book on our 3-year run of launching and running the Razzball Basketball Pod. It will be missed! We look back on 3 years of memories, jokes, and our tenure at Razzball for one last time, and hopefully you have a few drinks with us. It's like The Last Supper!
