Hey everyone, my family and I are currently at a family reunion so we will get right into the music segment of this episode. There were a couple requests for the New Hollywood Studios Entrance Loop. While I couldn’t find a nice source for that specifically, I do have something close. This week were are traveling out to Shanghai Disneyland to spend some time on Mickey Avenue. This week we are fulfilling a partial request. Danny asked to hear both the queue and attraction music from Buzz lightyears Space Ranger Spin in the Magic Kingdom. Unfortunately I only have the queue music. I haven’t been able to find the full loop for the attraction. So this week we are going to hear the queue music from three Tomorrowland attractions. We will start of course with Space Ranger Spin, then we will head next door to enjoy the queue music from Carousel of Progress. Finally we will go back a few years to enjoy the queue music from Stitch’s Great Escape.

This week we are going back in time. Patrick requested the PeopleMover audio from Magic Kingdom. Unfortunately, quality source audio for that attraction still alludes me. I do, however, have the audio from the version that use to run out at Disneyland. So lets head back to the 60s-80s as we take a ride aboard the PeopleMover first from its original version sponsored by GoodYear in 1967. Then to the 1970s for the version narrated by Jack Wagner. Finally we will end in the 1980s as we take a ride aboard the Wedway PeopleMover through the World of Tron.

We have a few last holiday requests to fulfill this week before Christmas is upon us. So we will start with the 2 shorter ones and end with the loop. First up we head out to Disneyland Paris to listen to the soundtracks to the Christmas Is Here Parade and the main theme song ‘Shine a Light’ from their newest Christmas parade titled Mickey’s Dazzling Christmas Parade. Then we fly out to Disneyland to take a ride aboard the merriest cruise that ever sailed, “it’s a small world” Holiday! Alright, well here we are on the first of July. As you’ve probably heard, the Disneyland Resort announced that it will not be reopening on July 17 as announced this month because the state of California has said that it won’t issue reopening protocols until after July 4. That of course doesn’t leave much time for the company to prepare so they have delayed the opening for a yet to be determined date. So we will continue to wait and see how things play out. This weeks show in honor of the 4th of July here in the States, I thought it would be appropriate to stroll though a patriotic section of the Magic Kingdom. Well hello again everyone. June is now upon us and that means that next month, Disney World will begin reopening its parks. Hopefully all goes smoothly and Disneyland can follow suit. With our next trip out to the Disneyland Resort in two weeks, I was excited to hear that not only will the Food and Wine Festival be in full swing, but that they will also be showing the original Soarin’ Over California footage. So if you love the original version as much as I do you’ll want to make it down there before April 21. With that announcement, I thought it would be nice to listen to the area music from the Grizzly peaks Airfield. So in our last episode we listened to a couple attractions that are no longer in the parks. This week we’re going to continue with that theme. Back before A Bug's Land said its goodbyes I was able to visit and make a recording of just that land. So this week, instead of starting in the esplanade, we will begin just outside the main entrance to A Bug's Land, make a loop hitting all the rides and finishing back outside the entrance next to Mater’s Junkyard Jamboree. So put on your head phones and join me as we make a trip around A Bug's Land.

This week I’ve been thinking about past attractions that are no longer in the park. While there have been plenty of Disneyland attractions that have come and gone there are a few that I miss and still wish I could experience. This week instead of going into one of the Parks at the Disneyland Resort, I thought we could take a stroll through Downtown Disney. This area has its own unique sounds and feel, from the music, the fountains, and of course, the Mickey and Friends parking trams. As usual we start in the esplanade, we’ll then make our way down to the opposite end near Earl of Sandwich, turn around and head back. We may even take a detour through some of the shops along the way. So put on those headphones and come along as we take a leisurely stroll through Downtown Disney.
