I realize that when a mass shooting takes place the only issue we can talk about is guns, but I’m gonna need a little more.

On the intersectionality chart, in CRT, behind systematic racism, and at the heart of white supremacy - is old white guys. The woke culture has made it clear that white men must go away. Since democrats are the party of diversity, equity, and inclusion - how can they vote for any white male democrat?
As a capitalist I love technology and innovation that brings us new products and services. Artificial Intelligence and Modern Monetary Theory may be to stems that will deliver us to socialist utopia. AI will do our work and MMT will pay us. It will require central planning with elitists like Bill Gates to govern us, but won’t it be great. Maybe not. There are a couple of issues.
The New York Times is the leading publication espousing the progressive democrat worldview. Climate change policy has always been built on a pack of lies and the Times is slowly having to reveal the truth. They reveal the Biden administrations authorizing the EPA to regulate auto manufactures and make it illegal to build gas cars in 10-12 years (No vote or democracy allowed here). They used the Ford F-150 to show there will be fewer jobs building electric vehicles. And of course, higher costs.
Since Donald Trump was elected President the news media has ceased being objective. Journalistic integrity is gone. News is all about political narratives. If this trial moves forward and Fox News is found guilty of broadcasting information that is false, look out! There will now be legal precedence that can be used against CNN, MSN, and the rest. Maybe from the rubble some platforms can rise that will be about truth.
Democracy is more than elections. Our founding fathers limited government and democracy. Originally, many did not want to let the people vote for president (thus the electoral college) or senators (17th amendment gave the people the right to vote for senators 100 years ago). George Washington gave us the real threats to democracy - foreign countries and political parties. Alex De Tocqueville in Democracy in America” discovered the heart of democracy.
I know Dylan Mulvaney because he is the answer to the question, “what is a woman”. He is literally the ideal woman. He is the man every woman should aspire to be. 10 million followers on TikTok, a billion views of his video series “Days of Girlhood”, and invited to White House to interview Joe Biden. It makes sense that Budweiser, Nike, and other companies want to use him in their branding.
It was April 12, 1861 that the Confederates bombarded Fort Sumter in the Charleston, SC harbor. Fort Sumter became a political issue in the 1860 presidential election. Abraham Lincoln won the election with only 38% of the vote (2 democrats took 60%). If Stephen A Douglas had won would that have saved 700,000 lives and freed the slaves at a slower pace? Would it have reduced Jim Crow laws and the number of lynchings?
This podcast could have been published under Trump, Obama, or Bush since they were not concerned with government spending. The spending is worse under Biden because of inflation. Low GDP coupled with high inflation spells disaster. Biden continues to lie, give disinformation and misinformation, and brag about reducing deficits.
Only 2% of the population of Israel is Christian. Most people living among the archaeology and history of the resurrection of Jesus don’t believe. People in America, the most religious nation in the world, are leaving the church. Covid and politics are key reasons. As Christians celebrate Easter, the resurrection of Jesus, maybe it is time to remember that incredible event.

Robert Craft, the owner of the New England Patriots and a Jew, is donating $25 million to a campaign to reduce anti-semitism (or as I call it - Jew hate). Why is this happening? Is it religious? There is certainly a history of Muslims and Christians persecuting Jews. Throughout history many nations have wanted to kill all Jews. Maybe it’s not a rise in Jew hate but just hate. What if prayer is the answer to the darkness that has fallen on so many hearts? I have often debated the existence of God with atheists, but maybe it’s time to debate the devil and hell itself.
A bipartisan bill may come to Joe Biden’s desk to ban the Chinese spy machine called Tik-Tok. I hope he vetoes it strictly on free speech grounds. What info are they getting that they don’t already have? But what if China threatens to reveal more info related to the million dollar deals given to the Biden family if he vetoes? Does Biden want that info in the hands of the press?
Democrats know that this latest Manhattan legal scrap about paying off a pornstar to keep her mouth shut, won’t fly legally. But they have admitted that it will be satisfying to see him arrested, have a mugshot, and do the perp walk. They believe this will keep him from winning the presidency in 2024. They could not be further from the truth. Donald Trump will sell mugs with his mugshot and use this publicity to identify with the forgotten Americans.
The college basketball tournament we call “March Madness” is my favorite sporting event. An amazing truth hit me watching these games - racism is not an issue! The narrative that all whites are racist, all systems are built upon white supremacy, and slavery still exists in the philosophies of our institutions is false. March madness calls all that bulls_ _ _. Can we stop the race madness?

It is good to question the obvious government blunders through the Dodd-Frank Act, FDIC, and the Federal Reserve. As usual it is all about protecting the rich. Too bad the great economist Milton Friedman is not around to advise us.
Teachers are slaves to their administrative masters. Public education has turned parents into terrorists at school board meetings. Kids are failing. To save public schools the most important step may be the return to teaching kids to read books. Reading, comprehension, and communicating both orally and in writing will open all doors for the students. Why did the public education system move kids from books to screens?
Teachers are underpaid and overworked while the kids are coming up short with their education. It’s time to support school choice, eliminate the Department of Education and teachers unions, and let teachers manage their own classes. Reading should become the priority. If progressives want to teach CRT as history and gender transitions as health, then start your own school! That is the meaning of school choice.
Economists have suggested that the Treasury Department mint a Trillion Dollar coin and give it to the Federal Reserve to put toward the national debt. This would avert the debt ceiling crisis and debate in congress. I say, if Treasure can legally do a trillion, why not a quadrillion? This would pay off all debts and make every American a millionaire!
In the first half of our country presidents and congress crafted legislation, made decisions, and led. Today that work is done by gigantic federal bureaucracies. I call it bureautic management. Ab Lincoln and Donald Trump are great examples of how it has changed. If you think Joe Biden is leading our country, then you are more out of it than he is.
There are a couple of steps to make the issue of taxes a simple and fair process that will bring more revenue to the government. It would eliminate the need for a giant IRS. It is progressive and the rich will joyfully pay more. The first step is to eliminate all current taxes for individuals and businesses. The second step is to apply a point of purchase tax on everything we buy, including Super Bowl bets and Wall Street transactions.
The debt ceiling crisis is like a football game. The game is over but the losing coach decides to negotiate a deal with the opposing team to make everyone feel better. The time to fight and play the game is before the President signs a spending bill into law. The House Ways and Means Committee, the ball then goes to the house floor, then senate floor, and finally to the president. Janet Yellen, Treasury Secretary, just needs to pay the bills.
Tennessee is considering a law to restrict drag queen shows. It’s meant to keep this stuff away from kids. An old picture has surfaced of Gov. Bill Lee dressed as a woman. Protecting kids from sexual perverts and other threats is the job of parents. Government bureaucratic management (GBM) should be a last resort on any issue.
The 1912 election was the most interesting election in our history. Teddy Roosevelt served as our 26th president and then hand-picked his successor, William Howard Taft who won the presidency in 1908. In the 1912 election Roosevelt ran the most successful third party campaign in history, but split the republican vote giving Woodrow Wilson the presidency with only 40% of the popular vote. This can be the scenario for Trump and DeSantis.

Crude oil was over $100 a barrel when Russia invaded Georgia in 2008, annexed Crimea in 2014, and invaded Ukraine last year. Oil is the #1 source of revenue for Russia to fight a war. If Biden and the government bureaucrats would allow oil and fossil fuel production to increase by 25%, oil prices could fall to $50 a barrel. This could leave Vladimir Putin in the cold and unable to fund his military vision. This is the path to victory in Ukraine / Russian war.
James Gillespie Birney was born during black history month (February) 1792. He was a white man who deserves to be honored with African-Americans this month. He was a lawyer who early in life owned a cotton plantation with slaves. He eventually became the most vocal abolitionist who also believed in equal rights under the law for blacks, unheard of at that time. He died before seeing slaves freed and becoming equal with whites under the law.
I believe we are going to war with Russia. China will decide if it is to be WWIII. I’m not sure about the optics from Biden’s surprise visit to Ukraine. Our Pentagon is an embarrassment, especially after this latest fiasco with the Chinese spy balloon. Our unlimited support of Ukraine is going to drag our soldiers into this fight. Are we prepared for war? If diversity is truly what makes our military strong, then maybe.
John Dickerson wrote a book titled “The Hardest Job in the World”. No one is qualified to be president. Their stories are unique and amazing and should be taught to all American kids. None were corrupt or wanted the job to enrich themselves. They just wanted to make the country better. The only skill necessary is leadership in a crisis.
I help the homeless more than anyone not paid to do so. Churches, organizations dedicated to the homeless, and government programs help with needs but enable the problem. Cities are spending millions and the end result is more homeless. The mentally and physically disabled should be taken care of but the rest should follow rules and be assisted in making their lives better.

According to science, this animal produces 40% of all methane in the atmosphere through farts and belches. Climate change freaks desire to reduce the use of beef and milk in response. 10 years to the day after Fredrick Douglas escaped slavery, he wrote a letter to his former master - Thomas Auld. He spelled out the terribleness of slavery but ended on a personal and friendly note. The lesson from black history is that you can have incredible political divides but still be personal and even friendly. No divide can be greater than a slave and their slave-owner. Douglas would not cancel Auld.
Joe Biden is the first 80 year old president to give a state of the union address. I think he did a great job for an 80 yr old. His mantra was “finish the job” on the economy. I’m not sure what that means regarding taxing the rich, establishing unions, banning guns, reducing debt and deficits, and unemployment. The most ignorant comment was that we will need oil only 10 more years.
China’s response to the spy balloon is “woops”. They gave the same response to covid. If China was investigated for giving millions of dollars to Hunter Biden, I feel their response would be the same. Our Pentagon elites, foreign policy experts, and State Department Ivy Leaguers say, “it’s okay”. None of this is okay. The balloon should be shot down or captured, and China should answer to the origin of covid what they got from Hunter Biden.
Social Security is socialism. It is taking money from one group of people and giving it to another group. When you pay the tax out of your income check that is no longer your money, it is the federal government. You don’t see that money when you retire. You get money being paid by working people.
When the slaves were free, they were not looking for Disneyland. Their first goal was to put their families back together. Next, was to establish a church. This became the center point for their fellowship and community. And third, they believed that one could never experience freedom without education. 90% could not read or write their name. Imagine if these three things were the focus for any group today?
The collateral damage in the Memphis police killing are all the other cops. Most police are law-abiding men and women, black and white doing incredible work to the best of their ability. The press made such a media spectacle out of this. Their narrative of course is systemic racism, make police look bad, make protests look good, and federal control of local police.

Too bad they can’t collect the excess water and make it available during times of drought. Actually they can, but environmental policies make it impossible. Government regulations are hurting California way more than climate change.
If you don’t pay your bills, you get backed up, it soon becomes uncomfortable and painful. In the end it gets done. It is the same way with government spending and the debt ceiling crisis. It is political theater and a big joke. If you want to make sure there is never another debt crisis then as you budget don’t spend more than you take in.
John Kerry was at Davos promoting the idea that economic growth is bad for the environment. Joe Biden was bragging about his reducing deficits while congress began the battle over raising the debt ceiling. And Janet Yellen travels over 4000 miles to Zurich (less than 100 miles from Davos) to have a meaningless meeting with her counterpart from China. These government bureaucrats set the rules for our world but don’t live by those same rules. You wanna know where Trump supporters came from?
At a Martin Luther King event in New York City in 2019 Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez said the world was going to end in 12 years. It is obvious why kids are having nightmares about climate change and good people are choosing not to have kids. In a time when disinformation and misinformation are hurting democracy, will AOC be challenged at all?
Americans did not respond to the covid pandemic like we did 9/11. There was no unity or even concern for other citizens. We shamed each other and refused to question what the government did. Dr. Fauci became our personal doctor. The failure of doctors, scientists, and even the church was despicable. We need to think about all of this to prepare for the next disaster that affects the entire country.

The Omnibus bill is filled with crap and waste. I am not a racist because I oppose the Michelle Obama Hiking trail in Atlanta. I oppose my federal tax dollars paying for a local project like this. There are hundreds of these types of expenditures in this bill. What will it take for Americans to wake up from their slumber regarding government spending?
Harry and Meghan have left the royals in England to live among the rednecks in America. For privacy they moved to LA, hmmm. They left England because of racism and colonialism. They left the wealth of the royal family to find new wealth through books, podcasts, interviews, and Netflix. Americans love Meghan and Harry because they love America.

Sanctuary cities and states could be the answer to the illegal immigration crisis. They are mad at governors Ron DeSantis of Florida and Greg Abbott of Texas for busing immigrants from the border to cities like New York. Why don’t the sanctuary cities send chartered buses with bathrooms and hot meals? They see it as a humanitarian crisis instead of a criminal crisis. They could be the answer.
I love the irony that while our lives are existentially threatened with climate change, we endure record setting blizzards and cold temperatures. Many deaths were recorded sadly, especially in Buffalo, NY. To laugh at this will make you a climate science denier. I’m not a climate change denier, I am a climate change policy denier.
Dec 30, 1922 Vladimir Lenin established the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics (USSR) of Russia. Lenin was the purest follower of Karl Marx and is the one guy who did it. Lenin was a globalist hoping for the world to be socialist. He knew the transition from capitalism to socialism would be impossible without brutality. Hitler and the Germans attacked the western allies (USA, England) in Belgium. Victory for the Germans would have ended in a peace treaty and then the German armies could move to the eastern front to battle Russia. General Patton was sent in, and though his moves were risky and unwise, his army turned the tide and let the allies to victory. Imagine all those soldiers fighting for their lives and our country during Christmas.
20 kids and 6 adults were shot by a 20 yr old mentally ill maniac 10 years ago today (Dec 14, 2012) in Newtown, Connecticut. The parents successfully sued the Remington gun manufacturer and Alex Jones the liar. I don’t blame the parents for any activism, including gun control, that they engaged in. Will we ever adopt effective school security and identify kids with a focus on violence and suicide?
$369,000,000,000 will be spent on climate change policy thanks to the Inflation Reduction Act. Americans want more government spending. The Fed has stopped creating new money and they are raising interest rates. So it is up to us to help the federal government with our donations. This is Joe Biden’s legacy and we can’t let him down.

The “Respect for Marriage Act” has passed congress and the Supreme Court will take up another case where a Christian refused to build a website for a gay couple and they sued. This is the anniversary of the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor. They thought by neutralizing the navy base in Hawaii that it would keep America out of WWII. Big mistake! America declared war within 24 hours. The Enterprise, an aircraft carrier that was not attacked, is a great story to remember just how fierce and courageous America can be. Will we have that kind of courage today when war with China happens?
Barack Obama has been stumping for Warnock in the senate runoff election in Georgia. Early voting has been huge and this is a favorite practice of the democrats. Maybe instead of battling democrats over election strategies republicans should use the same methods. Mail-in voting, ballot harvesting, absentee shenanigans, and more are some of the finest work of the democrats.
Generation Z may not be the worst generation ever, but they do suck! They are the main reason the democrats did not get wiped out in the midterm election. They were energized by the abortion, climate change policy, and gender issues which are at the heart of democrats. They will grow out of their socialist tendencies when they start businesses and families.

Imagine if that approach was taken with government bureaucracies? Government agencies are unelected and unaccountable and responsible for wasting taxpayer money and unbelievable levels of inefficiencies. Musk has shown us how to deal with a bloated organization.
At the recent COP27, the United Nations meeting on climate change policy, they agreed to have rich countries give money to poor countries. Income redistribution is at the heart of socialism. Federal government bureaucracies have already taken over the auto industry, energy sector, ESG in financial markets, and soon will control everything you buy. Climate change policy is socialism. Watch out for Klaus Schaub, the German founder of World Economic Forum (WEC).
The Defense of Marriage Act is about elevating gay marriage and making it equal to traditional marriage (one woman and one man). The act is really disrespectful for traditional marriage. It seeks to overturn the bi-partisan Defense of Marriage Act of 1996 (traditional marriage definition). The left fears the Supreme Court will overturn an earlier 2015 decision, Obergefell vs Hodges. Nevermind that scientifically the traditional marriage is the healthiest for kids.
Some say never talk about politics or religion at family gatherings like Thanksgiving. Better, follow these 3 simple rules to make political conversations anger free and maybe even fun. Don’t preach, listen, and by asking questions you will make people feel good, even if they are on the other side of your political beliefs.
There is black history month in Febuary and gay pride month in June. There is no month to remember the contributions of white people, but Thanksgiving is certainly about the birth of America and white people. Many died risking their lives to cross the ocean, from diseases, or natural disasters. It wasn’t about white supremacy but rather the simple goal of a better life for their family, freedom of religion, and opportunity.
Joe Biden announced that the G-20 and the USA was giving Indonesia $20 billion to help curb coal use in Indonesia. Nevermind that Indonesia is a successful growing economy and the third largest coal producer in the world. The irony is that while taxpayer money goes to them they are increasing coal production to sell to Europe for heating this winter. Our foreign policy is simply giving money and arms to other countries.
An actual Russian missile landed in Poland killing 2 people. Poland is a NATO country. This could lead to WWIII. The republicans officially won the house, 220-215. This is a bomb with unknown potential for good or bad. And then there is Donald Trump. He is running for president again. I don’t know the impact, but I would not bet against him.
As we expect a new round of masks, social distancing, lockdowns, etc., what if you are still going to get covid? That is the lesson I have learned about covid. Masks, vaccines, and the rest may delay for a moment the virus, but not forever. The focus now should simply be on treatment. The second change that needs to be made is to stop blaming others if you catch covid. If worried, wear an N95 correctly.
Democrats and republicans thought inflation was the #1 issue for midterms. We were all wrong on this, thus republicans didn’t get the win they expected. Abortion, Trump, and democracy energized democrats and republicans had no message. People know about higher prices but they are not feeling the pain.
Even democrats are surprised at their victories in the midterm election. Pundits are already throwing in their theories as to the answer. To me, there was one issue that trumped crime, inflation, and the border crisis. It was the fear factor. Both parties tried to scare Americans into voting for their candidates. I guess believing that republicans are coming after democracy and your kids was enough.
When the American flag was commissioned in 1777 at the Continental Congress the colors were to be red, white, and blue. Red was for courage and sacrifice, white for purity, and blue for justice. Today red is for republicans and blue is for democrats. Tim Russert was first to use red states in reference to republicans. What will it look like after the election tomorrow?
In Joe Biden’s speech about the republican threat to democracy he also said that his son Beau died in Iraq, that he was responsible for the increase in Social Security (COLA), and that he had spoken to the doctor who created insulin. Are they lies or dementia? Paul Pelosi and an intruder fighting over a hammer in their underwear. Will Saturday Night Live do the skits?
The midterm election is not a big deal. Will your life be different after the election? Will your bank account grow based on who wins? It is mostly important to the politicians and the press. They get wealth and power from elections. The press gins up the rhetoric so we will get anxious. You should vote because it can have long term consequences.
It was 100 years ago today that Benito Mussolini was installed as the Prime Minister of Italy. His party was proudly Fascism and he was the father of Fascism. He made fascism cool even before Hitler. Since Donald Trump and Maga republicans are fascists, I thought it could be instructive to learn about politics from the master.

John Fetterman does not require a mask or costume to scare the kids on Halloween. You could say the same about Nancy Pelosi with her face. But what makes him most scary is not his looks or stroke, but his support of left wing violence. He supports the release of one third of the Pennsylvania population, the violence of Black Lives Matter, and the communism of Russia. I think the safer choice is Dr. Oz, the “crudite” candidate.
The United Nations turns 77 years old today. Organized in 1945 following the two awful world wars with the good intent of stopping further wars and negotiating peace. Their history of failure and corruption has made me question their legitimacy, but they have failed in dealing with the current war between Ukraine and Russia and potential “nuclear armageddon”.

As a Christian, he should explain his moral failures and tell of his repentance and restitution. He should write an op ed in the New York Times.

At the same time, the private jet industry of the rich will almost double. Biden proudly claims that the government is ready for the next covid type pandemic. Great, but are we ready for the next hurricane that takes out refineries in the Gulf of Mexico? Can you imagine how high gas prices would go? 50% of all refining of crude oil in the US happens on the gulf. There is already a supply shortage of oil. Let’s hope Al Gore was wrong that hurricanes will be more frequent and powerful because of climate change.
I don’t blame President Biden solely for high gas prices. I do blame him for not doing anything to help. I have a couple of ideas that will affect the supply and demand for gas. Neither idea will call for more drilling. Reduce all government travel by 50% and reduce exports of oil products by 50%. The results would be dramatic.

I was never a believer in masks. I trusted Dr. Fauci at the beginning of Covid when he said that masks were not that effective against the virus, plus we need to make sure hospitals had plenty. His change of mind a few weeks later made me wonder if it was politics, since he provided no scientific data. Trump’s big mistake was not wearing masks himself and suggesting everyone wear them. The government would have never had a mask mandate anywhere at any time!

The universal cry from all corners of the country is, “we have to do something”, after the mass shooting at the Uvalde school in Texas. Every suggested gun law will not stop mass shootings, but at least we can feel good about ourselves. So pass a law against mass shootings or go for the gusto and pass a law against evil!
The positive is the incredible sacrifice that American men and women were willing to make for the values of the USA. The negative is that every war in all times is started by politicians and governments. All we need to examine is the beginning of WWI and WWII. This is why limited government is the only solution to war and peace.
None of the late night comedy shows or Saturday Night Live make fun of climate change policy. One would think with the cute Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, the author of the failed Green New Deal, we could make this whole process sexier and more fun. A mass shooting of kids by an 18 year old is the purest form of evil I know. It is demonic and straight from hell. As people plead for congress to do something, maybe it’s time to pray. Republicans should wipe out democrats in the midterm elections. They won’t. With common sense solutions to democratic failures they will not run on them. They will focus on the 2020 Trump election and promise to investigate Hunter Biden when they get power. Losers!

Liz Cheney is a conservative republican from Wyoming. She is running for reelection to the house in the fall. Her father is the second most hated republican ever - Dick Cheney. Progressive democrats are pouring millions of dollars into her Wyoming campaign. She voted for the impeachment of Trump and now he and his followers are going after her.

For black history month I read 2 books (1 old, 1 new) written by African-Americans. The older one, written in 1845, was by Fredrick Douglas. He escaped slavery and became an intellectual. The other book is a biography of Andrew Johnson by Annette Gordon-Reed. There are lessons about racism and white supremacy. Both represent real and true American history, unlike the 1619 project.
A totalitarian government has total control and requires complete submission by its citizens. Has this worked during the covid crisis? I think with 500,000 deaths the answer is no. They should have been open for counseling services, hospital overflow, testing facilities, beds, food, funerals, and much more. This was the time to show the world our “good works” as Christ called them in Sermon on the Mount.
I have never understood why student debt is more important than other categories of debt. Medical debt leads to half the bankruptcies in America. Credit card debt is as large as student loan. Do any of those people deserve forgiveness? Mortgage debt is over $16 trillion. That is the largest personal debt. Think about all the pain in foreclosures. Why not pay all of it? The national debt is over $22 trillion. What’s another few trillion?
If democrats take the senate with the 2 seats in Georgia, they will control all 3 branches of government and they will be able to pass any progressive legislation. You can’t imagine the government spending that will take place. New laws and regulations will be shocking. They will do crisis spending when there is no crisis. Individual rights will be dead. Joe Biden does not want any of this.

Why did he not endlessly talk about the First Step Act and the unemployment rates for blacks and Hispanics? He should have kept up the attack on the press as fake news and enemy of the people.
The week before the election Trump was talking about firing Dr. Fauci. So much for getting the female vote. Trump was a terrible politician, but was an amazing president. The tax cuts, First Step Act, unemployment, Islamic terrorism, and the Middle East Peace deal should have been the only thing on his lips. Trump should have taken lessons from Hillary Clinton.
Oregon citizens voted 56% in favor of Measure 110 de-criminalizing drug possession. This includes heroin and cocaine. It puts drug possession on the level of a traffic ticket. Besides giving more personal freedom to individuals, this will save taxpayers a load of money. Think about the police, lawyer, prison, and court costs that will be reduced.
An olive branch is a symbol of peace. Will Joe Biden really bring unity and civility when it’s people on his side looting and rioting, calling Trump supporters racists and white supremacists, and suggesting that Trump supporters be arrested and jailed. Will Biden condemn Black Lives Matter and Antifa? The cancel culture is all on the left, will he cancel them?
It is funny that democrats are crying about the legal challenges to the presidential election. All they did was investigate Trump every day he was in office. Pennsylvania is the one state that is most important to see if there was voter fraud or voting irregularities. It should be done to protect American citizens. After Russian collusion and Ukraine phone call, how can democrats object?
Voter suppression and voter fraud accusations are thrown around like a football. Dead people somehow manage to vote each election. An estimated 80 million people voted by mail on paper ballots. What could possibly go wrong with this. Human error is the biggest problem with mail in ballots. Both democrats and republicans should agree with making online voting a thing for the next election.

Voter analysis polls show that Americans believe that government does not do a very good job, but they favor more and bigger government on issues like healthcare. They need to rethink their views of big government. More government equals more bureaucracy. The power of government is to tax and regulate. More government means more taxes and regulations. I believe individuals are the key to prosperity and hope.
Sports is loaded with examples of bad sportsmanship – Mike Tyson, Dennis Rodman, Ndamukong Suh, and the favorite Tanya Harding. There have been some rough presidential transitions over our history. Bill Clinton’s staff left the George W Bush folks with some damages in White House. Sometimes it can be serious, like when 7 states succeeded from Union during transition from Buchanan to Lincoln. I don’t have high hopes for Trump.
I can imagine Trump campaigning right away for 2024. First, he will be Joe Biden’s age which Americans seem to appreciate. Older the better in politics. The new media need Trump to provide 24hr a day content. I can see 4 more years of rallies. Honestly, I wish he would concede and go home. That is not an option for Trump. Buckle up, here we go.
This is an illustration of the craziness of politics. I am bringing up campaign finance reform. Historically, this has always been a democrat issue. My problem is illustrated in the South Carolina Senatorial race between the incumbent Lindsey Graham and the Democrat Jaime Harrison. Rich people from all over the country poured money into his campaign, to a tune of $100 million. There needs to be a law saying you can only donate money to your own district.
In the next presidential election there needs to be a new caveat. All polls say there is a margin of error of 3 to 4 percent. In seven of the ten races I was tracking, the percentage of error was greater and all in favor of Joe Biden. It appears the polling companies did not learn a thing from 2016. The election is still not called for Biden or Trump, but the polling business should be dead.
Fivethirtyeight lists all the polls for the state senate races and then for the presidential election. I looked at all the polls and noted what was said about 9 states and the national average of polls. California was one of the states. I know that it is democratic, but it will be good to judge how the polls figured there. The swing states of Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, Iowa, Michigan, Ohio, and Florida were included. As of yesterday, Biden was leading Trump by 8 points nationally. This thing should be over.
Michelle Obama said, “vote for Joe Biden, your life depends on it. If you believe that, no wonder there may be violence. Government is all about taxes and regulations, bureaucracy, and war. Since there is no real threat of war I don’t see the dangers of this election. Relax, and enjoy the excitement of democracy.

What are they doing with all that money? Developing campaigns for more donations and a website to get money. In this crazy election it is good to remember history. Grover Cleveland, a true conservative, was famous for his many vetoes while president. The most famous was the Texas Seed Bill to help farmers deal with a terrible drought. He vetoed this bill because it was his belief that it was unconstitutional to make the federal government a charitable institution, taking money from some to give to others.
There are over 2800 public health departments in the country (city, county, district, metro). These people are responsible for protecting the public health. The New York City Health Department has over 6000 employees that includes epidemiologists, doctors, and scientists. Is Trump alone to blame or maybe we should consider others whose sole job is the health of the public? And what about the CDC?
This is not about Hunter Biden and his lucrative deals with China. This is about the threat to America that China represents. China has built up their military for the purpose of handling America. They are communist and hate God and our capitalism. They will take every job they can from us. Democrats scream about Russia, but the biggest threat is China. Will Trump or Biden be the better leader against China?
There is no doubt Trump has behaved in an undignified way. Indignity can be given to any of his supporters. Joe Biden and democrats have said insane things. Keith Olbermann said Trump should be tried for over 200,000 coronavirus deaths. Democrats are admitting schools will reopen as soon as Trump is gone. Elizabeth Warren says all life will be destroyed if Trump is reelected. Indignity or insanity – what do you want?
It is astonishing how little the youth know about American history. History proves America is great. From the founding of this country, the revolution, American inventions, the ending of slavery, and the ending of systemic racism with Civil Rights legislation. Systemic racism is at best revisionist history.
There is no uptick in new covid cases across the country. Face masks will not save you from getting the coronavirus. Our individual rights guaranteed in the constitution are being trampled and the Church has put all the commandments of God on hold. When did fear replace courage as the attitude that exemplifies Americans?
Joe Biden says he wants to expand Obamacare. He says it has helped more people get insurance. That was not the promise when it passed. Everyone should have insurance and healthcare costs should be lower. It was and is an epic failure. It is over 2000 pages of taxes and regulations. Joe Biden should be asked why do people still not have health insurance and why have costs gone up.

Capitalism is great! I admire the story of Jeff Bezos of Amazon and Oprah Winfrey. Progressives refer to capitalism as economic injustice because of income inequality. And they are right. Capitalism creates millionaires and socialism does not, except for those in charge. Bernie Sanders and the educated youth are leading the movement to destroy what made America the wealthiest country in the history of the world.
The polls say that women are going to vote overwhelming for Joe Biden. This is because of their hatred for Trump. Do they realize that they are also voting against Amy Coney Barrett? She is Trump’s nominee for the Supreme Court. If the democrats can hold up her nomination until after a Biden victory, she will be gone.
35 of the 50 senate seats are up for election this year. Democrats have a great chance to retake power. Bernie Sanders will become the Chairman of the Budget Committee if that happens. What? A socialist? If democrats take control of presidency they will be choosing Supreme Court nominees. People who will believe in the “living constitution” and use the court to make laws.
We hear about the secret Donald Trump voters. The people who would never publicly admit they are voting for Trump, but in the booth will pull the lever for him. There is also a secret crowd of voters for Biden. Those people who voted and supported Trump but have had enough. They are the ones with Trump fatigue. They may give the election to Biden.
The latest Russian scandal information should make every American wake up. Hillary Clinton and her team using lies against an opposing candidate is not news, but the CIA and FBI using lies to bring an American down – that’s so bad. Face masks are another government control issue. This is nothing new, the income tax is the greatest example of government takeover there has ever been.
The press wants you to fear the coronavirus. Trump getting the virus proves it can’t be stopped. Face masks are more about ethics and morality than science. The government will miraculously cure the flu and pneumonia this season. We will be able to kneel and worship at the feet of Joe Biden.
Government contractors make more money than anyone. One example is the poverty programs started under LBJ. 70% of monies earmarked for the poor goes to the providers of the services, not those in need. The left was quick to go after Bush after the Iraq war when Haliburton was given contracts to rebuild. Provides for illegal immigrants is another lucrative area for government contractors. The providers have no incentive to eliminate the problems since they would lose money.
7% of all government spending is for government employee pensions. Most of these are sweetheart deals better than your first love. Many employees are making more than when they actually worked, plus they get healthcare and prescriptions. Taxpayer dollars continue to flow as long as their beach chairs still hold their old bodies. For new government employees their need to fund 401Ks like normal business and then we are off the hook when they retire.
It’s the goal of the University of Billy to get you aroused with government spending reality. Today we look at GDP, and I know you get turned on every time you see these letters together. GDP is the total spending of consumers, business, and government. The issue is government spending, because it is out money. There is no difference here between Trump and Biden.
There should be no moderator. Have one lectern and give time for each debater to speak. The first speaker will then be allowed a rebuttal. Chris Wallace had an impossible job as moderator of the first debate, plus he was awful. The Lincoln – Douglas debates are the best example. Forget the dumb mute button.
When George Washington wrote his 30-page farewell address to congress he warned them about the dangers of foreign influence. He could not have imagined that today our foreign policy consists of mainly giving money and aid to other countries. Their attempt to influence our politicians and government is greater than ever. There are 175 foreign embassies in Washington DC, most on embassy row. There is much more to the story than just Russia and Michael Flynn.
Donald Trump and Joe Biden did not inspire or provide any new ideas. They were third graders battling on the playground. Why would anyone want either of these guys to be leaders of our healthcare. James Madison said one of the most important qualities of a president is intelligence. Huh?
I still wonder if the debate will actually happen tonight. Or will Joe show physically but not mentally. Trump will win the debate if he doesn’t go too low. For instance, it if fine to attack Hunter Biden but not Beau Biden. Trump can win on issues but he loses on meanness. Americans will stop watching after 15 minutes. Ratings will be great at beginning.
From a liberal think tank, I found the suggestions from it’s president on what Biden should do in his first week as President. I agree with some ideas, like, shutting down his Twitter account and taking a day off since he is so old. I have big problems with getting back into Paris Climate Accord, Iran Deal, and limiting our nuclear arsenal. And of course, move to get justice for American’s racism.
Trump will continue his Twitter attacks, but I hope he will follow the accomplishments of his first term and do it in the second. His victories should include cutting government spending, killing the swamp and elitism, dealing with China, drug prices, illegal immigration, to name a few.
In spite of his Tweeting messes, Trump has some extraordinary achievements in his first term. He has done tax cuts, deregulation, added Supreme Court justices and federal judges, killed Iran Deal and Paris Climate Accord, stood up to NATO and other Global organizations, signed First Step Act, and much more. Tops for me would be keeping Hillary Clinton out of White House.
Face Masks, social distancing, and shut downs appear to be the best science can do during the coronavirus pandemic. In my opinion science has gone AWOL. We have daily new cases and deaths with no answers, just socialist solutions. The one scientific fact that we all have to understand is that everyone dies. How we live should be and individual choice, not government mandates.
I understand the argument for not forcing through a Supreme Court nominee before the election, especially after what Mitch McDonnel did to Obama’s pick of Merrick Garland. But imagine the scenario where the election goes to the court and the vote is 4-4. Democrats say that will contest the election if Trump wins.
Joe Biden is what I call an in-bred racist. So am I. Older white men were born racist and we have to work on being better every day, and we are. Bidens’s attempt to elevate African-Americans only proves his own racism. Kamala Harris and the black man who discovered the light bulb for Thomas Edison are examples.
There has been no trial, but the city of Louisville has awarded the Breonna Taylor family $12 million in damages. 3 strange police reforms were also announced. None have to do with police brutality or racism. Government is always happy to do something even if it doesn’t provide a solution that works.
Roger Goodell should resign as NFL Commissioner since he has proved to be a weak-kneed, empty head, and no backbone leader. He admitted he should have listened to Colin Kaepernick. Since the NFL is now a social justice activist organization whose purpose is to condemn white people, then Colin Kaepernick should become NFL Commissioner.
The Obama and Biden administration made a deal with Iran, the bitter enemy of Israel and the United States. Trump has brokered a deal with Israel, the UAE, and Bahrain – the bitter enemies of Iran. This is a clear difference between the views of Trump and Biden. Is it a big deal? It has potential, but we will not know for some time. The key is Palestine.
Michael Bloomberg spent a billion dollars of his own money to get his own self elected during the democrat primary. He is now promising to spend $100 million of his own money, just in Florida, to get Joe Biden elected. Remember campaign finance laws? The message here is that the real privilege in this country is not white privilege but rich privilege.
I do not fear the riots, looting, and protests led by Black Lives Matter and Antifa. I do not fear anything about the coronavirus. I do not fear my eventual death, even if is sooner than I would hope. Yet, I fear a Biden presidency. For the first time in my life I have an AR-15 loaded and ready to protect my home if necessary. If democrats get control of the government, they will confiscate my gun.
Drug prices are high due to government intervention and regulations. Big screen TV’s and computers get cheaper over time because of capitalism. In capitalism prices are incentives to produce things for profit and it is an incentive for consumers to buy. Socialism hates profit and blames most societal ills on capitalism.
John Kennedy, in his 1961 inaugural address, said "Ask not what your country can do for you, but what you can do for your country." Ed Markey in his senatorial campaign in Massachusetts, said in campaign ads "to start asking what your country can do for you." He cosponsored the Green New Deal with AOC and has hitched his wagon to the star of socialism. I'm not a democrat, but Kennedy's comment was inspirational to me. This is the real democrat party today - it is a party of takers. By the way, Markey ran against the only Kennedy left in politics. Do you really want to give power to democrats?
Since George Floyd’s death in Minneapolis, Black Lives Matter have been calling for a national conversation. I’m in, however, the conversation has to include data, evidence, and common sense. The protesters define resisting arrest as blacks defending themselves. They can say this since the belief is that white police officers just want to kill black people. Good luck having a conversation when this is the starting point.
On the singing talent show American Idol, after a season of eliminating contestants, Americans could vote during a certain time period as many times as they wanted. Imagine this method for our 2020 presidential election. Takes care of the problem of dead people voting. Winner will have the most energetic base. And it eliminates voter fraud. I’m a genius!
There is no such thing as white privilege. The best privilege (available to all races) is being born in the home of a father and mother who love each other and their kids. In addition, the quick judgement made about events and people and the complete rejection of truth is unimaginable. Due process is one of the great things about a nation of laws. On social media, due process is a waste of time when you can condemn with a few clicks.
Joe Biden gave a speech in Pennsylvania and blamed the violence and all trouble at the protests on Donald Trump. He said that it would be worse if Trump was re-elected. So much for the Black Lives Matter message about systemic racism and police brutality. Even the murder of an unarmed Trump supporter in Portland (Biden supporter with BLM tattooed on his neck), Biden blamed on Trump.
In Portland, Kenosha, and other cities we are seeing an increase in violence and death. If the government is not going to step in and stop the violence, looting, and rioting then the entire government needs to be defunded. Forget defund the police, defund the whole government. Biden and Trump have condemned the violence, and of course, blamed each other. But rhetoric does not replace action. Wow, we have to vote in this mess?
I hate wearing face masks, and really, most are useless except for freeing you from mean looks. There are many positives to the masks. They eliminate dentistry, lipstick, gleeking fears, smelling farts, bad breath, and people knowing what you had for lunch by seeing it in your teeth. Best of all, it brings equality. Everyone is ugly.

Our politics right now has to be embarrassing to the thoughtful American. Biden stays away from Sunday news programs and does an interview with Cardi B. Trump spreads conspiracy theories about the Post Office over mail in ballots and goes after Kamala Harris birth details. Both sides tell lies or spin and power should be taken away from them. This is why I am for limited government.

The only way she can help Biden win is to take the level of nastiness against trump to a level that is beyond the press and the democrat congress. That is a tall order. Only Trump can defeat Trump. Does anyone remember the hanging chad from the 2000 presidential election? Those were not even mail in ballots. We do zillions of trades through online activity. The stock markets, Amazon, and thousands of other transactions are made by Americans and we trust it and love the experience. Online voting would eliminate paper ballots, photo ID, early voting, absentee balloting, and the debate about mail in voting. This would increase Americans participation in our democratic process and give them a better experience. Politicians are out of touch when it comes to election laws. Also, the government could provide dedicated servers for elections and the necessary security.
I like those little gun thermometers businesses are using to check your temperature. I remember with kids having to go up the butt. This and the regular coronavirus tests are really stupid and dangerous. There are false-positives, false-negatives, and they may take a week to get the results. All of this leaves grandma vulnerable if you believe the results.
Your worldview of debt and economics is as much philosophy as science. As our national debt is moving quickly towards $30 trillion we should probably be thinking about the end game. More stimulus is coming. I taught my kids about debt using the game black jack. As they say, payback is a bitch.
It is obvious that no one wants Donald Trump and the republicans to control more of our lives. If we are to be taxed more and regulated more it should be the democrats. Politicians are great at investigations. Do you really want the democrats who led the Russian Collusion Investigation (Adam Schiff), Kavanagh hearing, or the recent William Barr hearing to be making decisions for your life, especially healthcare?
During the coronavirus pandemic the Church has decided to follow the commands of government rather than the commands of God. Those dying in hospitals and nursing homes can’t be seen by the families and then they can’t have a funeral. Isolation has brought loneliness, depression, alcoholism, suicides and more. There has never been a time to show the love of Jesus and the power of God.
The Federal Government, based on supposed coronavirus science, shut down big chunks of the economy. Business closed and individuals lost their jobs, hopefully temporarily. The answer is not business loans, unemployment insurance or stimulus checks. By the way, none of this is stimulus. It is not growing the economy it is saving it. Since the federal government is the sole reason for the shutdown it should pay back every penny of it’s costs.
When Bill Clinton was President and Al Gore was Vice-President in the 90’s they had an initiative to re-invent government. They admitted the problem about entitlements (Social Security and Medicare), balanced the budget, and cut costs and cut regulations. Joe Biden was a senator during that period. What they done needs to be done again, would he?
Every single protester believes the line heard thousands of times in every college, “there are no moral absolutes”. Yet, the removal of monuments and any reference to the evil doers of the past believing in slavery is contrary to their own philosophy. Moral relativism says that values change between cultures, periods of history, and even politics. Using the same methods of the left maybe a Barack Obama statue will be torn down in future because he supported abortion.
The Civil War was first about slavery, but also about states’ rights (10th Amendment). I don’t know that I would die for that one today. Freedom of religion and the right to defend myself are pretty big. #1 to die for would be freedom of speech. We have come a long way since the free speech movement at Berkeley in the 60’s and what is happening with social media today.
It is the 25th anniversary of the Million Man March in Washington DC. I was never a Louis Farrakhan fan, but this was an impressive event that he organized. They spoke of black unemployment, black median household income as key points where improvement was needed. Black Lives Matter is more about tearing down American institutions than improving lives. There was no violence, looting, rioting, arson, or pooping in the streets at the Million Man March.
I have found 6 different republican groups (Lincoln Project, Republican Voters Against Trump) who are calling on republicans to vote for Joe Biden. Lt. Col. Alexander Vindman represents the real issue in Washington DC. The State Department bureaucrats and foreign policy wonks are the swamp. All the republican Trump haters are political consultants and Ivy League hacks that live to keep the status quo alive.
Last week Biden said Trump was the first racist president. That was a statement more from ignorance than dementia. LBJ was famous for his use of the n-word. The left trying to cancel Woodrow Wilson for his racism at Princeton right now. I think Andrew Johnson was the most racist. Using Biden’s own logic, he too is a racist.
Oscar Wilde wrote a book in 1891 titled, "The Soul of Socialism." His thinking is a part of the Darwin, Marx, and Freud trilogy that had worldwide implications. It is the thinking behind the George Floyd protests today. It is the driving worldview of Antifa and Black Lives Matter. It is based in anti-religion, anarchy, and Marxists ideology. The revolution is to tear down all of the American society and replace it with Utopia. The problem is that this philosophy is based on man being inherently good. Oops!

Dying in affordable housing. That’s why affordable housing is like slavery. An African-American female friend recently said she had never had a yard in her over 50 years of life. She had always lived in affordable housing, projects, public housing, etc. It made me think about how different the politics of left and right are with their solutions. All sides have a heart for the less fortunate, I believe. It is the solutions where we differ. Do we focus on opportunity or charity? The American dream starts with owning your own home.
New York had 0 deaths from Coronavirus one day last week and Dr. Fauci then praised how New York is handling Covid on PBS. Over 32,000 people have died from the virus in New York. Can you imagine what the families of those people felt when he said that? The press is daily bombing Florida and Texas for their handling, yet both states (with larger populations) have 8,000 deaths. Stick to the science Doc.
Is this the most important election in American history. No, but it is certainly the most bizarre. Oldest candidates ever, one hated, and one with dementia. I think it comes down to who do you hate the worst – Trump or America. Democrats, like Ilhan Omar, said “we must dismantle the whole system”.
John Lewis, the longtime congressman from Georgia, passed away from Cancer Friday night. He was 80 years old. He had marched side by side and let the Civil Rights Movement with Martin Luther King, Jr. White liberal women across the country are screaming at black police officers and calling them racist because they are part of the system. You know the term – systemic racism. John Lewis was at the top of that system, should he be cancelled?
“1939” is a book about the year before WWII started. The author recounts the beliefs, feelings, and words of German citizens from the time of Hitler and Chamberlain signing the Munich Agreement until the bombs began to fall. The early Jewish persecution was known throughout the world. FDR and others failed to act. The George Floyd shooting is eerily similar to what led to protests, looting, rioting, and violence in the states.
Worse would be voting for democrats to take more of your money to put in the hands of 250,000 federal employees in Washington DC to waste. The Department is a great example of government waste. Many of their programs started in the Great Depression era still exist today. This should make your blood boil. At least all those government employees make more money than 90% of Americans.
Being born poor in another country or just being aborted. Democrats would not have a job is there is not a pool of poor people. Most of these you find in the large Democrat cities like Seattle or Minneapolis. Illegal immigrants are another good source of poor people. In these cities there is no chance for conservative or liberal ideas. Socialism will never stand up to opposing views. Different views are not entertained when only democrat ideas are allowed.
You can lead with dementia, but smart will not follow. Biden’s “Buy American” economic plan proves that many of his handlers also have dementia. The good news is there was no mention of Medicare for All, free tuition, or the Green New Deal. Funny that the guy who supported NAFTA now says buy American. Also funny that the speech was given in Pennsylvania where he promises to kill fracking.
I would rather be a part of a society that builds monuments rather than tear them down. I would put up statues to Michael Jordan, Billy Graham, Barack Obama, and Oprah. The Supreme Court was made up of only white guys for over 200 years. Now we have an African American, Latin American, and three women on the court. This is not a racist country!
Washington DC is the seat of our federal government and public service. It is also the richest place on the earth. Government employees, lobbyists, private contractors, and the news media are all democrats. Since electoral votes were given to DC in 1963, not a one has gone to a republican. Usually 90% of the vote goes to whoever the democrat candidate is. Why? Democrats is who will take more power and money from taxpayers.
Now the Noam Chomsky, JK Rowling, and the play “Hamilton” has been added to the cancel list, it’s time for a conservative to speak up. Cancel culture is mainly about eliminating free speech and destroying a person’s life, and in some cases, their families and friends also. For a nation built on the right of free speech, this is a terrible trend and it must be stopped. We can start by not agreeing with these students or journalists and not apologizing for their accusations.
Joe Biden cannot defeat Donald Trump in any area, but Trump will beat himself. The one issue that will defeat him is Trump fatigue. Even Trump supporters are tired of the constant chaos. Most people are tired of his management style, lies, and exaggerations. His only hope is in the 3 debates. Biden must find a way out.
There has never been a time like this in our country, with the coronavirus and systemic racism. But worse than the destruction caused by both these factors is stupidity. I am amazed and what I see and hear on most news media outlets that is stupid and absurd. It is hopeless without good history and comprehensive data.
In 2016 we saw the most disliked presidential candidates ever, so in 2020 do we have the worst? Joe Biden fits the description of someone with dementia and Trump is certainly demented. How do we keep coming up with these candidates? What is wrong with the Democrat and Republican parties?

July the 4th, the day the 13 colonies declared their independence from Britain, is under attack. The New York Times “1619 Project” says the nations birth was really 1619 not 1776. This was when the first slaves arrived. Add to this, Thomas Jefferson (slave owner) wrote the declaration, 13 colonies (all slave states) agreed, and 46 of 56 signers were slave owners. I’ve never had a problem with guilt. Now, I feel ashamed and guilty every day. First, I’m white. I talk about racism daily, do I need to destroy a monument or burn a business to feel better? I love word “defund”. Has there ever been a time where liberals and democrats are talking about defunding government? I think government spending is hurting you more than climate change, healthcare, poverty, and institutional racism combined. Laws protecting citizens against wasteful spending, elimination of big corporation subsidies, and budget cuts are just a few of the things to be done.
First, understand that Wall Street is not capitalism. Second, understand that the Black Lives Matter movement began with “trained Marxists”. The greatest enemy to communism, socialism, and Marxism is capitalism. The protests today say capitalism oppress blacks and keep them from economic success. Wall Street and politicians may keep them down, but capitalism is the greatest chance for prosperity among blacks.
The protests that have taken place across the country since the George Floyd killing are called “mostly peaceful protests” by the news media. Very little is said about the violence, deaths, businesses burned, or economic livelihoods destroyed. What’s happening is called domestic terrorism. The press fails to tell us the truth. By the way, this is an interesting contrast with conservative protests with no violence or destruction of property (Tea Party, Michigan coronavirus shutdowns).
I was so excited at how all of NASCAR supported Bubba Wallace after they discovered a noose in his race car garage. But oh, it wasn’t a noose. No problem, the left can still use this to say America is racist in it’s very existence. Al Sharpton is on the job to build up the lie. Jussie Smollett must be proud. And Joe Biden is all in with his belief in systemic racism. To those of us on the right, the noose is a symbol of how unrealistic and untruth the left is.
Black Lives Matter and white liberals are making us relive slavery history. I ask that if we have to do that let’s include the source of slavery. All slaves were captured and enslaved in Africa by blacks. The were sold on shores of Africa (mainly Benin) to middle men for transport to foreign nations, not just the US. The Dutch brought the first slaves to Virginia in 1619. In illegal drug activity the drug dealers are way more awful than the drug users. What about slavery?
Okay, maybe Donald Trump and Joe Biden were not officially draft dodgers, but they certainly figured out a way not to sacrifice themselves for their country. Both received education deferments and a medical deferment in 1968, the bloodiest year of the Vietnam War. Bill Clinton and George Bush were also unique draft evaders. Military service should not be a requirement to be president, but it is the greatest example of unselfish service and sacrifice for others.
Getting only part of the American History. Colleges are not teaching American history anymore; unless it is being used as propaganda, revisionist history, or part of the cancel culture. Confederate monuments are coming down, safe places (free from history) are provided, and the 1619 Project is defining American History. This reminds me of the Negro Baseball league. As Churchill said, “we are condemned to repeat history”.
Trump has proved to be undignified for the office of President. However, he did accomplish some things of note. Presided over great economy (until Coronavirus), shook down global organizations (NATO, UN, WHO, etc), and shamed Washington establishment. On the other hand, who can vote for Joe Biden and the Democrats who want to eliminate American history, constitution, borders, capitalism, and the police? The vote is for America or Anti-America.
Being born anywhere else in the world is worse. The poorest in America, including blacks, are obese and own some of the finest things. Cell phones, big screen HD tv’s, and cars are just a few of the things available to the poorest. The biggest issue in Black America is the broken family. Tell me how systemic racism causes a 16 year old to have a baby. Where did Colin Kaepernick get his worldview?
Why were the police called to this Wendy’s where a drunk guy had fallen asleep in his car in the middle of a drive-thru? Any citizen could have awakened him and ask him to move. Also, why do the police always arrest drunks? Why not give them a ride home and impound their car with a fine attached? This man should not have resisted arrest, but he should not have been shot.
We hear from the news media every day that there is an uptick in the number of new coronavirus cases. More people are going to the hospital. You are not hearing the positive that the numbers of deaths are dramatically declining. You will also not hear the thousands of positive stories about police loving and protecting black lives. Way more than the few racist examples that we dwell on today.
Worse are the over 70% of African-American kids born into a home without a father. This is the reason for the high incarceration rate in prisons and the high percentage of blacks living in poverty. The left’s celebration of single parent family has done unbelievable damage. Democrats promotion of abortion, sex education, and unlimited contraceptives have failed in helping anyone. This is a fact that needs to be part of the conversation.
Whites telling the truth. Signs everywhere say “White silence is violence” or “white silence = white consent”. The only thing the woke left wants to hear from whites is expressions of guilt and apologies. Also, whites should bow their knees and submit to the wishes of the mob. I desire healing and restoration of relationships, but also honest conversation.
The Insurrection Act was passed and signed into law by Thomas Jefferson in 1807. It was established to stop any group of people inside the US threatens the lives of innocent people through looting, rioting, and any effort to bring disunion to the country. It has been used 20 times by presidents. The last time was to end the LA riots in 1992 by George HW Bush. Unity is more important than diversity.
Derrick Chauvin killed George Floyd and started an unbelievable racist trajectory. We hear of institutional systemic racism. This means every business sector, government department, and even a police department is racist. I do not believe in systemic racism, but let’s take a look at the Minneapolis Police Dept. and find evidence of department racism.
Candidate Barack Obama gave the best political speech I have ever heard on March 18, 2008. Race was the issue once his pastor, Jeremiah Wright, became a lightning rod due to his horrible statements about America. Obama spoke of slavery, anger, white privilege, and our “perfect union”. He spoke of hope. We need to hear his words in the midst of the protests, looting, rioting, concerning George Floyd in Minneapolis.
People on the left say that most of white America is racist, support white supremacy, and want to keep the black man down. True white supremacy is socialist, anti-Semitic, and have very few proponents. The white supremacy that all races have to deal with is the fact that over 60% of the United States is white, and this is a democracy. What do we do about that?
I am not a Marxist, socialist, or communist, but I am for defunding the police. Start with eliminating police unions. That’s the reason you can’t fire bad police officers. Get rid of the Rambo’s – officers that are guilty of police brutality. Stop using police to generate revenue. If you want to eliminate the need for police, then stop calling.
There are 27 elected representatives for the people of Minneapolis. A governor, State Attorney General, 2 US Senators, 1 US Representative, a mayor, and 13 city councilmen. There are no republicans on among these. Any solution for the police brutality, racism, and the murder of George Floyd. Should be easy to adopt. Ilhan Omar is the US Representative for Minneapolis, enough said. Why don’t they police the police, provide reparations, quotas, and other democrat ideas?
I have been on furlough for a few weeks because I simply could not talk about the Coronavirus anymore. It’s still going on, but the George Floyd murder in Minneapolis and changed the political scene. Add to that the moving of the republican convention and the re-appearing of Joe Biden, it’s time for the University of Billy with all the truth and genius.

I never thought I would see real and true fascism, totalitarianism, dictatorship, or despotism in the USA. But here it is, and even on the local level with mayors and governors. Now we hear that they want to use GPS to track our movements in the event we get the coronavirus. No! This will lead to fines and even arrests. How long until freedom returns?
You know the 6ft social distancing rule. Do you recall that a grave is 6ft deep? I wish they had said 5 or 7ft. The distance comes from how far the jet stream of crude travels from a sneeze or cough. I believe saturation is more deadly than the distance. There has to be a greater chance of getting coronavirus from a 2hr ride on airplane than a trip to grocery store. Let’s be wise.
When I played football I never questioned the need for a football helmet. It was the safest thing to do during a game or practice. We want to do things that are safe with this coronavirus, but we need to be careful in believing they are 100% safe. They are not. Face masks are not that effective, scientifically. The better issue is to cover your mouth with a tissue when you sneeze or cough, throw it away, and wash your hands as soon as you can. I will continue to laugh at people wearing masks who are alone in their cars.
That was a famous question coming from an elderly lady in a Wendy’s commercial back in the 80’s. Tyson Foods, the largest chicken manufacturer in America, is reporting that the food supply chain is breaking. We are headed for meat shortages (chicken, pork, and beef) as early as May. I laughed at the toilet paper shortage, but this gets my attention. This coronavirus pandemic is really making socialism look bad.
The coronavirus has revealed a couple of bad things to us. It has shown us that man is powerless, science is limited, and government is a bumbling fumbling clown show. Where is the hope and confidence? Faith in God brings hope, joy, and confidence in the midst of even a pandemic like this. Jesus came to show us a kingdom not of this world. We are all going to die but there is so much more.
Trump calls the press / news media the enemy of the people. I think they are the enemy of the truth. They love the people, as long as they remain submissive sheep. They press wants to tell us what we should believe, how to think, and what to do. These coronavirus protesters throughout the country are sheep who are dumb, desire people to die, racists, and need to be put back in the fold with the rest of the herd.
How do you deal with this when your life motto is safety third? I would be eating out at my favorite restaurants today if I could, in spite of the pandemic. The key is to stay away from bats, subways, nursing homes, prisons, and to get outside! Building up the immune system is better than any government aid package.
The gamble depends on your local situation. Where I live there is a 1 in 350 chance that I will get the Coronavirus and a 1 in 10 chance I will die if infected. With those numbers I am willing to roll the dice and head back to work. Socialism is all about collective solutions. The issue of going back to work is a local issue not national or collective.
I am sick of being “all in this together”. I’m sick of the songs, the memes, the tag lines, and daily onslaught of this phrase. We are in the same storm, but not the same boat. President Trump said we are stopping the flow of money to the WHO – World Health Organization. Yet, he supports the giving of $5 trillion to the WHO through the G20. It is time to re-examine our support of these global or international institutions. Most are committed to socialism and the reduction in US power and influence. They do like our money, however. In 2019 The New York Times Magazine put together “The 1619 Project”. This was to remind us that it was 400 years earlier that the first slaves landed in Virginia. This was an excellent history of slavery in America, but it was not the sum of American History. They said 1619 was the real start of America not 1776. My biggest criticism can be summed up in one word – Indians! Native Americans were here thousands of years earlier. But their history is not American History either, it is a part.
Progressives and socialists are using the coronavirus pandemic to criticize capitalism. Be warned. They are blaming capitalism for the shortages in medical equipment. Many democrats have voiced the desire to make many of the government spending packages permanent. They want to spend even more. They want to use this crisis to promote prison reform, universal healthcare, green energy, and more.
I don’t appreciate President Trump, governors, mayors, or any other group of government bureaucrats claiming it is their decision to tell me when to go back to work. Americans are smart enough to decide for themselves with their fellow employees when the time is right to return to work. Every business and individual situation will be different. Government should give us information, provide safety guidelines, and tests. We can do the rest.
Some are saying Dr. Anthony Fauci is the sexiest man alive. I’m not sure about that, but I am tiring of his moving from scientist to policy maker. He is suggesting immunity cards, face masks, and the end of handshakes forever. He has also failed to point out that you can get the coronavirus through the eyes. Immunity cards remind me of the yellow badges Jews were to wear in Germany. Oh, Germany is the first country to do immunity cards.
Odd timing, but the 2020 World Happiness Report has been released. I was interested in this index of the happiest countries in the world due to our own enjoyment into socialism, so far. Not having to work and still get paid is not bad. I was curious where the true socialist countries were on this list. China, for example, was ranked 94th. In other words, their people are not happy. The only equality that socialism brings to people is misery. And I’m there.
It is interesting that the peak of Coronavirus deaths are happening at the same time that Christians throughout the world are celebrating Easter, or resurrection Sunday. Image if Jesus walked the earth today rather than 2000 years ago. He would not follow social distancing rules but touch people and heal them. He would be a greater teacher with social media and TV. In the end he would still did and then raise from the dead. He has conquered death, a nice thought during this pandemic.
I have been tracking, since March 23, the new coronavirus cases and deaths per day. Every day the number of new cases and deaths is greater than the day before. For the first time, there was a dramatic decrease. The CDC is where I get the numbers. The largest number of new cases to date was on April 7th – 43,438. On April 8th the total was 20,682. I was expecting a number over 50,000. Great news!
Social distancing has evolved into social shaming. People look at you weird if you are not wearing a mask or practicing the other social rules. This feels like a sexual version of S&M. As a free individual, I am not going to wear a face mask. I will follow any rule than is safe, logical, and effective. We will start to bring back life and the economy when people are allowed to do what they want again.
The coronavirus crisis has given us many shortages. The biggest surprise is toilet paper. The economic crisis in Venezuela was marked first with a toilet paper shortage. I never knew toilet paper was so emotional. It is also racist – toilet paper is white. The average adult uses 100 rolls per year, but the emotional attachment has led to hoarding.
The Trump team and many economists are saying that the economy will come “roaring back” after this coronavirus pandemic is diminished. The confidence comes from the fact that the economy was in great shape before the crisis. The government shut down the economy. The press does not cover small business and they do not realize that many companies will not come back at all. It will take at least a year and maybe more for things to get back to where they were.
Social distancing can also be labeled the introverts paradise. I am not a touchy feely person and I don’t like to hug. I’m in heaven right now. But bad for “close talkers”. Divorces are up and at the same time there is a shortage on condoms. Mexican citizens are asking for their government to close the border to keep Americans out. Is any crime going on? And what about impeachment? It’s a weird time.
How can a libertarian, small government conservative, and capitalist become a socialist? It is only temporary. In times of war, terrorism, coronavirus pandemic, or other national crisis government has to take over. It keeps all citizens together in behavior and economics. I even favor the $2 trillion aid package. Today it is for safety. It is best when collective solutions are necessary. But I am looking for the end date.
Capitalism is all about supply and demand. How did it fail to meet the demands brought on by Coronavirus? Besides the extreme nature of the pandemic, which no one could plan for, manufacturing in China and “just-in-time” business practices led to shortages. On the positive side, capitalism is the reason the demands will be met faster and better than any other means in the world.
There has been an incredible shortage of face masks, Ventilators, medical gowns, and other essential equipment to protect our doctors and nurses. According to the main street media, Trump is to blame. He did not give an early warning. Chuck Todd asked Joe Biden this awful question on “Meet the Press” Sunday. If anyone should be blamed, it is Communist China.
An orgy in Barcelona, Spain, 911 calls for being out of toilet paper and neighbors coughing, are just a few examples of the craziness surrounding the coronavirus. I have a great business idea – make face masks out of toilet paper. Just make sure you use the face mask first!
Why is it so hard to find the number of US deaths from coronavirus? The stock market can use a weekend break from the roller coaster. Coronavirus will be contained, but soon we will find out it was caused by climate change. I believe the democrat debate will be rigged. There is no way the democrat establishment will not protect Joe Biden from Joe Biden. I would say a deal has been done with Bernie Sanders.

When it comes to the issue of the homeless, democrat policies are totally destructive. 50% of the homeless are addicts. Their illegal immigrant drug dealers are protected and needles are provided. The CDC (Center for Disease Control) has a budget of over $12 billion and the NIH (National Institutes for Health) has a budget of $42 billion. Of the $8.3 billion congress approved most of it goes to the CDC and the NIH. In the senate the vote for it was 96-1. Only Rand Paul voted no. That is the reason I have voted for him in the last 2 republican presidential primaries. Why can’t these people just do their jobs without needing more taxpayer dollars?

I have a friend who is a “Bernie Bro” and he just rolls his eyes when I talk about how to fund Medicare for All. Tax the rich, man! Bernie has announced a price tag at $30 trillion. The total wealth of the 400 richest Americans, according to Forbes, is $3 trillion. Total income of Americans is $13 trillion. The “Bernie Bros” are as crazy as Bernie Sanders. If Denmark won’t pay maybe the gods from Greek Mythology will cover it.
No candidate at the democrat debate picked up many voters last night. They came out swinging again, but no one came out with a clear victory. Joe Biden will remain on top in South Carolina and Bernie Sanders stood up to the attacks on his love for Castro and Cuba. Socialism did not really get nailed as I was hoping. Bloomberg did not embarrass himself, but he did not pick up many votes either. Since this is the last debate until Super Tuesday, with Texas and California, it will be interesting to see how many votes his money will buy.
I have never spoke to a socialist who had any experience in how a business operates. Simple questions will reveal just how ignorant they are of basic business principles. One explanation Bernie gives for Democrat Socialism is employee ownership of big business. He has said that business executive boards should be made of 50% employees with decision making power. Maybe you can use these questions in your own world.

Today is Presidents Day. We live in this cancel culture, anti-Trump period where some people would dance and spit on his grave. They would remove presidents from currency, take their name off buildings, and destroy their monuments. I am a presidential historian by hobby and only buy books that are positive toward these men. There is much about their lives, personalities, and lifestyles that were key to their rise to the top. Forget about the 2020 election for a few moments and give thanks for a great country and the men who have been our leaders.

Who can we believe. Should we blindly trust the federal government on anything?
Nothing is sadder than healthcare being a political issue. Medicare for All, single payer, or Obamacare are terrible for healthcare options. Government should get out of healthcare and ownership of hospitals be pushed to the local level and treated as charities with non-profit status. Hospitals make up almost 50% of all healthcare costs in the country. Neither republicans or democrats have any common sense with this issue.
One of the reasons democrats are feeling a little blah about their presidential candidates is Hillary Clinton. She is in the background talking about the “urge” to get in. She needs to give it up and crown Amy Klobuchar queen of the democrat party. She is the best debater and showed in New Hampshire she is the real deal. She was criticized for being mean to her employees, but that may be the most valuable tool in this election.
Jorge Ramos, a believer in open borders, wrote an op-ed in the New York Times titled, “Trump Gets His Wish. Mexico is Now the Wall.” His point is that Mexico is stopping much of illegal immigration at their border with Guatemala, policing the border with the US, and they are paying for it. Trump ran on building the wall and it should be a key theme in the 2020 election. There are still issues at the border with illegal immigrants who are criminals or unaccompanied children.
It is nine months until the 2020 presidential election. After the impeachment acquittal, the Iowa caucus embarrassment, and the State of the Union address – Trump and republicans have won. Trump deserves a victory lap, but he needs to focus on governing and not a revenge marathon. Republicans will fail if they think they can coast to victory in the fall.
Did you even know there was a republican primary or caucus in Iowa? Donald Trump won against Bill Weld and Joe Walsh. It was not close. Walsh accused republicans of rigging the election. The drama cannot compare with the democrat caucus disaster, but at least we can think about something else for a few minutes.
It’s been a bad couple of days for the democrats. The Iowa primary fiasco, The State of the Union Address, and the senate acquittal of Trump on all impeachment charges may have put the fire out on the democrat hopes for winning the 2020 presidential election. Trump put faces on the issues of abortion, school choice, and illegal immigration in a powerful way.
What a colossal disaster the Iowa Caucus and Primary was. The app failed to work. Pete Buttigieg is the big winner, and at the same time, the big loser in this event. He won the votes but failed to get any momentum due to the app problem, the State of the Union Address, and the impeachment vote. The guy is toast the rest of the way.
Politics and government are not the same thing. We must learn to differentiate. The current impeachment process proves the point. It is clearly about politics and has nothing to do with good governing. Our foreign policy needs to be debated. Aide to Ukraine should be debated considering the level of their corruption. This debate never happened since the only thing that mattered to Democrats was the removal of Donald Trump.

Bernie Sanders blames big corporations who don’t pay enough taxes for the California housing crisis. He is bonkers. Some leftists blame Reagan era economics. They are bonkers, too. A massive housing shortage has been created due to local zoning laws, environmental regulations, and taxes. Not to mention drug addicts and the mentally handicapped whose needs are not being addressed by the democrat controlled California legislature.
Apple just announced their greatest quarterly profit ever. Bernie Sanders thinks Apple, Google, and Amazon be should be broken up. He says they don’t pay enough in taxes. He says Apple is hypocritical when they give California $2.5 billion for the housing crisis. He blames them for the housing crisis since they don’t pay enough in taxes. He and his belief in socialism is total foolishness.
The Democrats are demanding that witnesses be called to the senate impeachment trial. They could have done this in the house but refused. Right now 92% of all tax revenue to the Federal Government comes from Personal income tax, corporate income tax, and payroll tax. Only 2% comes from excise taxes. I would turn that around.
