Be extremely careful what aspects of your personal life you share with a guide dog school. They might judge you if you don’t be careful how you word things to them. Be very, very, careful.

If you tell them to destress from a traumatic situation then please don’t pick on them for how they do it. If they have a collection in their home that helps them please don’t poke fun at them and put them down. That just makes them feel worse. You want your students to be upfront and honest with you so please don’t pass judgment. That’s not the way to get honesty from your students.
