Sarah Ordo is not your typical millennial and in fact doing it all! She’s an entrepreneur and owner of 24Luxe Hair & Makeup in Detroit. Sarah is a licensed makeup artist, self-published author of 9 books, podcast host, YouTuber, life coach, workshop creator, and live event organizer. She’s sharing her journey to sobriety and what it has not only taught her but how she’s continuing to make pivots in her life and business today. Find out how this go-getter is doing all the things starting with her morning routine and how her latest book is giving women the permission slip they need!
It’s time to live your best f*cking life!
What we’re talking about
Sarah’s Sobriety Journey
Sarah has been sober for 5 years and is open and honest about her journey to getting to this place in her life. After becoming a business owner, Sarah turned to drinking and recreational drug use as a kind of relief from all of her hard work. When she ended up in cardiac arrest and almost losing her life, that was all the wake-up call she needed. From that day on, she hasn’t touched drugs or alcohol. Being sober wasn’t easy though and she shares how it led her to depression, but with the help of a therapist, she was able to pivot and ultimately write Sober As Fck*.
Living Your Most Confident, Unapologetic Life
In Sarah’s latest book, Not Sorry, she is giving women the permission slip they might feel they need to live their most confident and unapologetic life. We discuss the current trend of using the word “Boss Babe” and how we, as women, only need to be identified as a BOSS! Women don’t need to apologize for being who they are and living with confidence.
The Importance Of A Morning Routine
Sarah’s morning routine starts with a block of time for herself. From journaling to working out, she enjoys time that doesn’t involve emails or work. By checking your emails first thing, you’re allowing someone else to run your schedule, so it’s important not to start your day with them. Be in control of your day and your schedule.

Abbey and Isa are the hosts of the Wanna Vibe Podcast and after being friends for almost two years, they’re finishing each other’s thoughts! This dynamic duo met during their respective wellness journies in which Abbey was dealing with weight gain and Isa struggled with addiction. Isa is a business owner and spin instructor, while Abbey is a nutritionist. When they met, everything simply clicked around all things wellness and they launched their podcast. They’re sharing with others what they’ve learned over the years from getting real about motherhood to using “the cup” and no topic is off-limits!
Get ready to vibe!
Taking life stories, how they met and incorporating them and that’s how people relate to them. They talk about things women want to hear…motherhood loving your kids but wanting to punch them in the face. Using the cup for your period. Finances. Women need to talk about it. Men talk about it and that’s why they make more.
Outsourcing tasks. Spending your time wisely by spending money to have someone else do things.
Hormone replacements, not knowing how to do your taxes, sex ed. We need to get educated.
Estate planning, have a plan
Prepare to be inspired and want to start living a kick-ass life!
What we’re talking about
Why We Need To Share Our Knowledge
We all have different upbringings and backgrounds with various knowledge. Abbey and Isa share how it’s important that we share the knowledge we have with others because there is so much we don’t know. We discuss finances and how it’s no wonder men make more than women because men aren’t afraid to talk about money, while women simply don’t. Share what you know so that others can be educated as well!
The Importance Of Outsourcing
Abbey brings up the great topic of outsourcing. Your time is valuable and worth money, so why not use it wisely?! Instead of trying to fix your car yourself, let the professional mechanic do it so you can focus on what you’re good at and what makes you money. This methodology should apply to your life and business.
Hormones, Finances & Estate Planning
In regards to sharing knowledge we each other, we tackle the topics of hormone replacement, finances and estate planning. These are all things everyone should be discussing and learning more about. We discuss how business owners should be informed on how to track finances and the importance of taxes and getting professional help in that area. We also talk about how grandmothers and the true need for an estate plan and will. You can’t simply write your wishes on a piece of paper and call it a day!

THE CONFIDENCE CROWN PODCAST NOTES: www.theconfidencecrown.com
Barbara Majeski was a married, stay-at-home mom living what she believed was her “best life.” All of that changed in 2015, when her marriage came to an end and she was handed a stage 3 cancer diagnosis. Fighting for her life and facing divorce, she vowed to live a bigger, bolder life with a purpose. 5 years later, Barbara has launched an online community in personal growth and opportunity, does charity work for Holocaust survivors, has won a humanitarian award for operation smile, and launched a new career in media. Barbara is sharing what she learned in her marriage, her new outlook on life and the importance of being yourself over trying to please others.
Prepare to be inspired and want to start living a kick-ass life!
What we’re talking about
Ignoring The Signs Of Cancer
Barbara had early signs of colon cancer but ignored those symptoms. She would fell like she had a “pot belly,” but since she was so skinny, she and people around her shrugged off this notion. She struggled to process food and as so many out there, demonized the symptoms because she was a mom. As a mother of 3, her life was filled with a lot to do and stress, therefore she had to simply be imagining that something was wrong with her body. When Barbara received the stage 3 diagnosis, she was in denial saying she simply couldn’t take it on at this point in her life. Unfortunately, that’s not a choice that was up to her. Barbara encourages all of us to get a colonoscopy by the age of 45 and if it runs in your family, go 10 years younger! Treat your colonoscopy as an opportunity to get a cleanse and detox!
Finding Your Purpose In Life
Presented with a cancer diagnosis, Barbara vowed that her story would not end. She started to think about the stories she wanted her kids to speak about most and remember about her, the legacy she was leaving behind and what she truly wanted them to think of her. As Barbara reflected on her life and putting herself through college and launching a sales business, she realized she had done it all for her brother, Steven, in order to care for him. She discovered that if she could use her voice not only for her brother but for people like him, then she had a calling to do so.
How Barbara Launched A New Career In Media
Barbara knew her calling was to make people more aware of colon cancer along with recognizing Holocaust survivors such as her grandparents and much more. In addition to that, Barbara discovered she wanted to be on the Today show…so she started following a media trainer, reached out to her and told her she what she wanted. Now, Barbara can be seen on Today carving pumpkins, creating cocktails, and sharing her story!

Chemical engineer turned multiple 6-figure business coach, Melissa Lin is reminding us why working for yourself can be much more stable than having a corporate job. Melissa’s grandparents had visions of success that included both a husband and her being a doctor, but Melissa quickly realized that the man she married wasn’t right for her and she couldn’t handle blood. Listen to her story of how she created her own fitness coaching business and is now coaching other women to grow their businesses.
Don’t forget to fill your cup before filling others!
What we’re talking about
Quitting The Corporate Life To Becoming A Business Owner
Melissa was raised with the notion that she had to become a wife and doctor in order to be successful. She became a chemical engineer after discovering she wasn’t a fan of blood and got married, but soon found out that neither of those life events was what she truly wanted for herself. After helping other women on their fitness journey, she decided to create a business as a fitness coach and with all of her business experience, adding business coach to her resume was an obvious move!
Making An Impact On The World
As so many of us do, Melissa wanted to make an impact on the world, but she felt her corporate job wasn’t helping her accomplish that. She was working for a company that made a difference, but she wanted to create a larger impact. With goals of creating a non-profit someday, Melissa is helping women change their lives by creating successful businesses for themselves and they, in turn, are helping even more women. She’s definitely creating an impact in what she does!
The Importance Of Separating Work & Life
One of the most important lessons Melissa teaches her clients and practices herself is the importance of separating work and life and to take time to truly enjoy life. It’s important to remember to unplug, connect with your partner and give yourself a break. You have to fill your own cup before you can fill the cups of others. The work will be there when you get back!

Ep 047 | Lights…Camera…Action! Why YOU need VIDEO to grow your biz with Patricia Kelikani
Emmy Award-winning filmmaker, Patricia Kelikani is teaching business owners the importance of having video for your business. Patricia is a showrunner for documentary series, creates custom videos for clients, and teaches entrepreneurs how to grow their businesses with video. She shares amazing and simple tricks to ensure you create great videos from your phone for your homepage, YouTube, and social media.
Lights…camera…action!
What we’re talking about
Why You Need Video & Where You Need It
Having video on the homepage of your website allows prospective clients to see and hear you in your own voice. You should open with a greeting and tell your client how you can help them. Bonus points if your video gives your followers quick wins because it’s going to make them want to sign up for your newsletter and they’re more likely to become a client. You should work towards the goal of having a homepage video, video on YouTube, IGTV and in your IG Stories. YouTube will allow you to build authority and stand out from others.
How You Can Create Video From Your Phone
Patricia says that you don’t need fancy equipment or even a studio to create a compelling video. All you really need is your phone and a window with indirect lighting and a decluttered background. By being in a place where you normally work, you’re making your viewer feel like they are right there with you. If you want to up your video game a bit, purchase a ring light or box light kit, an external microphone and a tripod to stabilize your phone.
Patricia’s Best Video Tips
First and foremost, you should test and practice. Ensure that your homepage video is polished, but when it comes to IG stories, go ahead and show some behind the scenes of what you do. Your first videos should be evergreen content that you can utilize in various places since video has a lifespan of 4 years. Aim for weekly videos, but focus on your strategy first. Video content should be quality over quantity. Most importantly, make sure each of your videos has a call to action!

Ep 046 | Confessions of a Plastic Surgery Coach with Michelle Emmick
Michelle Emmick is a plastic surgery coach with 2 decades of experience and the author of Blue Collar Beauty: Confessions Of A Plastic Surgery Coach. Michelle has done over 10,000 patient consults and trained over 2,000 doctors. She educates and supports consumers to ensure a positive experience on their aesthetic journey focusing on the know before you go. Michelle’s goal is to set her clients up with proper expectations, be educated, and have success.
You should be educated when it comes to your plastic surgeon!
What we’re talking about
What Is A Plastic Surgeon Coach?
All athletes have a coach and there are coaches for your life and your business, so why not you’re your plastic surgery journey?! Michelle is your advocate from the moment you decide you want to start researching doctors until well after you’ve had your surgery. She keeps you focused on the positivity of your journey ensuring you don’t look in the mirror one week after a facelift because she knows what you’re going through and what you’ll see and feel. Plastic surgeons and their office staff are all too often too busy to remind patients of the aftermath of surgery and Michelle is the one who will ensure you have a positive experience.
Choosing Your Plastic Surgeon
Choosing a plastic surgeon shouldn’t be a simple or uneducated thing. When researching doctors, you should be aware of private practices versus retail chains and ensuring your doctor has the proper credentials and is board certified. You don’t want a doctor who is just looking to get Instagram results. It’s most important that you find a doctor whose specialty it is for your procedure and that you ask questions. Remember that each doctor has a specialty and you shouldn’t go to the same one for different procedures.
Blue Collar Beauty: Confessions Of A Plastic Surgery Coach
Michelle decided that her story was one that should be shared and writing her book was a cathartic process. It is filled with lessons of self-love and self-care. Michelle shares her story of childhood and how athletics played a role in her life. Because of this, her book has encouraged more people, such as high school coaches to reach out to her and want her to speak. Michelle’s biggest lesson in her book is that we need to move away from the images that are out there with models who are 00 and airbrushed because that isn’t reality.

What we’re talking about
My Journey To Becoming A Speaker
Traditional education failed me! My 4-year degree, cost me hundreds of thousands of dollars and left me WITHOUT any specialized knowledge! Nor did I take the traditional career path, and yet, once I left corporate America, I was able to create a thriving business and make more money. Last fall, I started the application process to become a speaker with Tony and Dean in their KBB program and I’m excited to announce that I made it all the way through! I’m even more excited to help kick off this exclusive opportunity for you to learn everything I have from these two accomplished speakers and educators.
Scaling Your Business Through Online Education
There are more online courses out in the world than you can count and if you’re like me, you’ve purchased a number of them. If you’re also like me, you’ve failed to complete them. KBB is one course that I have not only taken completely but that I believe in passionately. Ep 044 | Get Ready to RELOW (relax and allow) with Kim Fiske
Kim Fiske is a triple threat by being a speaker, author, and thought-leader who is revolutionizing the way we comprehend our existence. Kim is sought after for her ability to convey to audiences provocative concepts and practical ways to identify and navigate what she has coined as the “monster under the bed.” She is a Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) Practitioner, Certified Coach of Life Planning (CCLP), a 7-figure Income Earner in Relationship Marketing.
Discover how your emotional and logical rules are working in your brain!
What we’re talking about
Network Marketing Can Bring Personal Growth
As two network marketers, Kim and I are able to agree on our beliefs in what network marketing can do for you in addition to a financial aspect. One of the greatest benefits of network marketing is the personal growth and development it allows you to have. If you are with the right company, you are able to grow as a person and learn about the way you operate, gaining confidence and stepping out of your comfort zone.
Discovering Your Identity As A Child
Kim’s book, The Monster Under The Bed: Uncovering The Lie That Drives Us, discusses how we are all emotional beings and our survival brain stems from childhood with us questioning ourselves with “am I ok?”. We set emotional rules for ourselves while the logical part of us defends and rationalizes the emotions we have. Kim’s book reveals 10 master tracks that include shame, people-pleasing, comparison and many more.
The 4 Pillars
Kim discusses the 4 pillars which include 1) we are a piece of God, 2) life happens for me, not to me, 3) now is all there is, and 4) relow – relax and allow. Kim’s believe that we are part of God/the Universe/Infinite Intelligence plays an important role in how we see ourselves and our reactions to things that go on in our life. Through Kim’s coaching program, Ignite Vision, she helps others go through these pillars and utilize daily guided exercises.
Now is all there is. Isn’t it time you relax and allow?

11:59 (47 sec KF) – The emotional brain, well, the survival brain only speaks in and hears emotion, so when the threat of anything, as illogical as it is, like the mom leaving the room, the threat is sparks the amygdala and says uh oh uh oh you may not survive. Danger. Will Robinson. You may die here. Even, and these are not words, these are feelings, so it says you better be ok. You better make sure they like you. You better smile at them when they smile at you. You better give them what they want. You better prove that you’re ok. Don’t let them see that you’re not. So the basis of all of our identity, in my theory, and it’s just a theory but it kind of works with so far everyone I’ve dealt with is that the monster under the bed is the lie that we’re not ok as we were.

11:35 (40 sec MB) – One thing that I think didn’t really serve me well is that there was such a focus on “we’re not selling, we’re helping people” and I think I got it to my mind to the point where I thought selling things was bad. And that is against my nature because a lot of people who have known me for 35 years know that when I was a kid, I used to paint rocks and sell them. I painted pine cones and sold them. I made friendship bracelets and sold them and was always doing some sort of creative hustle since I was like 5. So returning to that should surprise absolutely nobody.

Ep 042 | R U Living Your Life For Yourself with Jessi Beyer
Jessi Beyer is a keynote speaker and mental health advocate who is helping millennials feel valid, heard and appreciated in their mental health struggles while designing a life that they love waking up to. Jessi is also about to launch a book, How To Heal: A Practical Guide to 9 Natural Therapies You Can Use to Release Your Trauma. After dealing with her own mental health as an adolescent, Jessi realized that there were other ways to deal with trauma than traditional talk therapy. Her mission is to change the way mental health is looked at, treated and to encourage people to be open and honest about what they’re dealing with.
Do it for yourself, no one else.
What we’re talking about
The Importance Of Living Your Life For Yourself
If you live your life for other people, then you have less of a reason to do more. Once you find your passion in life and understand that your “why” is specifically for you, then you will find you have more reason to jump out of bed and get to work. Focusing less on the opinions of others and more on what means something to you, then Jessi says you’ll feel more motivated every day, even when things are rough.
How To Heal: A Practical Guide to 9 Natural Therapies You Can Use to Release Your Trauma
Talk therapy is one of the most recognized forms of therapy around when it comes to mental health. Jessi’s first experience with talk therapy had her running out of the building and never looking back. She says she regrets never going back but has since found other natural therapies that release trauma, including connecting with nature. Jessi’s book details 9 ways to release your trauma using research-backed experience.
How Jessi Found Her Confidence To Try New Things
Jessi became sick and tired of being sick and tired and decided it was time to try new things. She didn’t like the way she was feeling and THAT empowered her to step out of her comfort zone and have the confidence to look at new ways to heal and move forward. Often times the only way to grow is to do things differently and try something new.
Don’t let anyone tell you when you’re ready.

12:46 (26 sec JB) – It ties right into with your why as well. If it’s something that you’re doing for the money or doing for the prestige, you’re doing for the opinions of others. It’s going to be really hard to get yourself out of bed on the those bad days. When you’re working for something you’re passionate about, you have this strong emotional why connected to it. It’s easier to say ok just send one email. Just get 1 thing done today and you can go eat some chocolate and then it’s ok. You have that motivation to pull on when things are really rough because you have that passion and that why.
17:30 (29 sec JB) – When I was struggling with my mental health I went to one day of talk therapy and literally I kid you not, ran out of the building because I was so uncomfortable and I never went back. That’s probably my biggest regret in my healing journey was that I didn’t have the support of a professional because I was so uncomfortable with talk therapy. No talk therapy is great. It’s back by so much research and anecdotal experience and things like that. It’s so so good, but if people are too uncomfortable to even go in the first place, then it’s completely useless.

She’s sharing how she views failures and her thoughts on why you should try new things.
Try new things…if you fail, you can at least learn from it!
What we’re talking about
Turning Setbacks into Success
In Hayley’s final year of college, her fiance broke up with her a month before their wedding and she lost all of her financial aid which meant she couldn’t graduate. Instead of wallowing in all that was going wrong, Hayley leveled up and dove headfirst into wedding planning and finding success in what she could do.
Discovering Your Passions
Hayley started out in the wedding planning business but discovered it was the digital marketing aspect that she was not only great at, but she loved doing most. Since then, she has continued to try new things and has launched a podcast, is about to launch a coaching service and is doing speaking engagements. Hayley’s advice is to simply try new things. You’ll either bomb at them or fall in love with something new.
Embracing Life Experiences
Hayley’s motto is, “there’s no experience like life experience,” and she embraces every experience that comes her way, whether it’s positive or negative. In trying new things and gaining experience, you’re able to level up more than if you wait around for things to happen. You’ve got to let your ambitions be bigger than your excuses.
It’s time to level up!

6:53 (42 sec HL) – So many people get caught up in oh because I failed at it, that means I wasn’t meant to do it. And you don’t know what the failure is supposed to teach you to get you to the next step and that’s now knowing that that’s obviously what I learned in that whole situation because I didn’t go to college with this plan of ok this is the job I’m gonna have and this is the degree I need. I went to college as this like super multi-passionate kid that wanted to do everything and try everything and so I changed my major 9 times, but I finally settled on criminal justice. I was gonna be a lawyer. That’s so different! You never know!

Ep 039 | Finding Confidence in Your Closet with Jennifer Mackey-Mary
Jennifer Mackey-Mary isn’t just a stylist, it’s her business to make you feel confident in your clothes and to teach you how to do more with less. Jennifer admits that clothes aren’t her passion, but seeing what she can do to help other women is definitely her purpose. She offers virtual styling sessions and amazing seasonal capsule wardrobe ebooks that not only show you what to wear but different ways to wear it and where you can find each piece. If you’re ready to work on what you wear, then you don’t want to miss this episode because you are going to learn exactly what you need to do to start finding confidence in your clothes.
It’s not about the dress, it’s about the life you live in the dress!
What we’re talking about
Finding Confidence In Your Clothes
If you are wondering where to start when it comes to wardrobe styling, Jennifer’s advice is to find a perfect pair of jeans and the right size bra. The right bra can make you look taller, leaner, younger and can take 10 lbs and 10 years off you instantly. Who wouldn’t want that?! The truth is that you don’t have to dress up to look stylish and polished, you can keep it casual as long as you find the right pieces in the right sizes.
What Is A Capsule Wardrobe?
Jennifer creates capsule wardrobes which are a collection of pieces that she then creates outfits out of. Her Winter capsule is 34 pieces that create 184 outfits, complete with tops, bottoms, dresses, shoes, jewelry, accessories and more. The trick that Jennifer teaches women is that you can absolutely do more with less and don’t need hundreds or thousands of pieces of clothing in your closet.
Don’t Forget The Finishing Touches
One thing Jennifer says many of us are missing these days is the finishing touches to our outfits. Some great tips Jennifer offers are to remember to wear a belt, add jewelry, roll up your sleeves and pop your collar. Not only do these things finish off an outfit, but they can also create slimming effects on your body which is always a good thing!
Let’s get styled!

4:35 (34 sec JM) – I believe that we’ve gotten a little bit less narrow-minded about what fashion is and it’s more about style and the fact it, there are just so many more options that are available to us, so when you look at even shopping, I don’t know if you remember this, school shopping as a kid. You did it in August because that’s when you bought your sweater and you wore sweaters to the 1st day of school and you just like were sweating the whole time. That sweater was there in August, got replenished in September and November all the way through the season. There were 4 seasons of fashion. Now there are 12.
18:41 (59 sec JM) – I create capsule wardrobe ebooks. It’s a digital download that shows women how to put together a mix and match wardrobe every season. So I take 34 pieces, we combine them to track I think this is one that’s coming out real soon for winter is like 184 outfits and we show them the tops, the bottoms, the dresses, the shoes, the jewelry, the accessories, everything they need. Then we give people shopping links where to buy them, in spend links, save links, petite and plus and then we show them all the outfit combinations. So you know, let’s say you want to try a really trendy piece for the season, like a leopard midi skirt. I would love to put this in my wardrobe but I have no idea what to do with that. We have a page in the capsule guide that shows you like 20 different ways to style your leopard midi, so I really wanted women to put together every mix and match that’s effortlessly stylish wardrobe, but it turns out stylish is not effortless.

Ep 037 | Getting School’d with Tracy Pendergast
Tracy Pendergast is a lifestyle blogger and host of The Home School’d podcast and is sharing how she uses creativity as a form of self-care. While being a mom of two kids keeps her busy, Tracy is finding time for home remodels, business launches, building her online community, and the importance of educating yourself. We are discussing all of this and dive into some home remodel stories along with our favorite and least favorite parts of a remodel…hint, the furniture design, and colors are the most fun!
It’s important to pay attention to what fills your cup!
What we’re talking about
Creativity As Self-Care
Self-care is so important and something we cover quite a bit. Tracy’s form of self-care is allowing herself to be creative because it fills her cup and allows her to feel whole. By doing what she loves, it enables her to be a good mom and a good wife, which in turn also makes her feel even more whole.
Building Your Community With Your Brand
Tracy has had a community of followers since she started her lifestyle blog many years ago, but launching a new podcast has brought the need for growing her audience. Tracy’s advice is to engage with your community and involve them instead of worrying about a large number of followers. It’s important to be around those that inspire you and energize you and your community is a perfect place to start in finding those people.
Remodels, Paint and DIY Projects
Tracy and I are both fans of beautiful things and are not strangers to remodels, and we are definitely in agreement that hiring professionals is better than doing the work yourself! With the ease of shopping online and strolling through the warehouse of Ikea for ideas, all you have to do is pick out the designs and colors you love and then let those who do it for a living, make it come to life.
Have you found your tribe of inspirational and energized people?

And it’s like once you kind of exhausted your skill set, there’s really not much to talk about anymore with people. So I started really taking time to learn how to do things myself and really pour time and effort into educating myself again and I just became really passionate about things, especially around my home.

Ep 035 | An Open Letter to GP
This past week I turned 50 and Gwyneth Paltrow made statements regarding how women become unfckable at a certain age and I’m here to tell you all that she couldn’t be further from the truth. 50 is amazing and if being fckable is your concern…ladies, don’t worry! Men don’t care about your age! You should only care about yourself and how you age, which is entirely up to you. Listen to the tips I’m sharing on how to stay young and the simple things you can incorporate into your life today. Embrace your age and treat yourself like the queen you are!
I’m having more fun now than I ever have…you should be too!
What we’re talking about
Age Does Not Define F*ckableness
Gwyneth Paltrow made some comments in the media last week regarding how a woman becomes unf*ckable at a certain age. This comes during the week of my 50th birthday and JLo’s 50th and to be honest, Gwyneth couldn’t be further from the truth. At this point in life, men don’t care how old you are. If Gwyneth can’t get a role in Hollywood, then she needs to remember who runs Hollywood…the good ole boys!
Preventing Aging
You can’t blame aging on genetics because only 20% of it is related to your genes. What you can do to help prevent aging is to eat organic, limit alcohol, don’t smoke, wear sunscreen, wash your face, hydrate, and exfoliate. It’s truly up to you how you will age and it’s definitely not something you should be afraid of. Embrace it and do everything you can to ensure you do it gracefully.
The Year To Come
Entering my 50th decade is going to be an epic one. I am working on sharing all of the life lessons I have learned with you through Masterminds and an amazing 5-week coaching program I’m launching called, Earn Your Crown. You are going to learn how to sidestep all the crazy and get out of your own way to be the successful woman you are.

Ep 034 | Igniting Your Passion with Alina Fridman
Alina Fridman is the CEO of Ladies Take The Lead and is producing the first-ever wedding experience, Down The Aisle Weddings. After a career in event planning, Alina decided that her priority was enjoying Saturday morning cartoons and breakfast with her kids rather than rushing out the door to an event. Today, Alina is helping inspire women while still producing events and launching a wedding experience that is for all people who celebrate love.
If it’s not working, fix it!
What we’re talking about
Making A Career Change
After years in the event planning industry, Alina realized what she was missing most…Saturday morning breakfasts with her kids. Her events were always on the weekend and that was when she could spend quality time with her kids instead of rushing off to work. Alina decided to take time to discover what she could do to make that happen while living out her passion.
Discovering Your Passion
Alina is proof that when you discover your passion and what excites you to work, then it will literally make you want to jump out of bed in the morning and get to work. The career possibilities nowadays are pretty amazing and if you love what you do, but not the hours, then chances are you can change that around. Alina is producing events yet doing it on her own time and not on her family’s time.
Weddings Are About Love
Alina is producing the first Down The Aisle Weddings which isn’t simply an event, it’s an experience. Alina and her team realized that wedding expos are just events and their target audience is female brides and they’re on a mission to change that. Down The Aisle Weddings is set to be an amazing experience for anyone who is celebrating love and will be filled with vendors who not only produce weddings but corporate events, birthdays and more.

Ep 033 | She’s Not Your Father’s Lawyer with Keren de Zwart
Keren de Zwart is Not Your Father’s Lawyer…both figuratively and literally! Keren is changing the way entrepreneurs and online business owners think about attorneys and their need to protect themselves and their websites. Keren went from climbing the legal corporate ladder to discovering motherhood and wanting to help entrepreneurs in their businesses without breaking their bank accounts. From living the corporate life and being the only female attorney in a firm to now setting her own hours and changing how people view attorneys, Keren is a wealth of information and lessons we can all use.
Her father’s lawyer may not have liked her business name, but we sure do!
What we’re talking about
Truly Not Your Father’s Lawyer
Keren is definitely not your father’s lawyer…she’s on a mission to prove to the world that you can have an amazing attorney who will not break your bank account by being a flat fee attorney who specializes in helping entrepreneurs and online businesses protect themselves. Keren is like Legal Zoom Plus because you get the flat fee model but with an actual attorney attached.
Protecting Yourself As An Online Business Owner
As an online business owner or simply someone with a website, you’re still subject to various laws by your city, state and even the FTC. It’s so important to protect yourself with privacy policies and terms and conditions otherwise you are leaving yourself vulnerable and liable.
Making Sure Your Attorney Is Like A Friend
You might not think of an attorney as a friend, but Keren says it’s of the utmost importance that you click with yours. Think of your attorney as you would your therapist…you want to like them and need to click with them. You want to find someone who understands you, your business and your goals.

26:37 (55 sec KZ) – I just think not to be afraid. I’m not the only one. I’d like to say I’m the best, but there are a lot of others like me and it’s really important that you find a lawyer you trust, as you know I tell clients, I’m a transactional attorney, so all I do is draft documents, set up operations, you know form entities and if and when God forbid a person gets sued, I’m passing them off to a litigator, somebody who spends time in court. It’s really rare, 9 times out of 10 you’re writing a contract that literally no one’s going to pick up again, nobody cares, but when it goes awry, it can be very, very costly for you and it’s so important. Your lawyer should be somebody you feel like is a friend and is like a therapist. You know you wouldn’t just go to some therapist you don’t click with, so it’s important to find a lawyer you trust who understands your business and is will to listen.

Ep 032 | How to Protect Yourself After Fraud and Betrayal
If you’ve been following along with my Instagram stories and IGTV, then you’ve seen that in the past week, I’ve had my identity stolen and not by some hacker or random person, but by someone who was not only working with me but was what I thought a good friend. After going through emotions of anger and betrayal, it was time to protect myself and fight back. This week I’m sharing my journey of contacting the credit bureaus and what you can do to protect yourself from identity theft.
Don’t get so busy that you forget to protect yourself!
What we’re talking about
Discovering Someone Close Is A Fraud
Recently I discovered that a friend who had been working for me was not only not who she said she was but had stolen my identity in order to make purchases, pay her taxes and open lines of credit. Having your identity stolen leaves you feeling vulnerable, but also encourages you to protect yourself and never let such a thing happen again.
Freezing Your Credit
The 3 credit bureaus are Equifax, Experian, and TransUnion and by contacting all of them, you can not only turn on alerts that your cards and/or identity have been stolen, but you can freeze your credit. This might sound like a hassle but the protection is worth it. For major purchases, you will have to contact them all and give them additional information in order to unfreeze it, but the sense of protection and relief is worth it.
Tips For Protecting Your Credit & Identity
There are many tips you can use to avoid having identity theft happen to you. Simple ones such as never use a debit card at a gas station are ways you can start today. Get an annual report of your credit to keep an eye on any kind of suspicious activity that might be going on, change your passwords and make sure they aren’t simple to discover. If you’re also ready, invest in a fraud alert program. Although you’ll pay monthly for the subscription, the peace of mind will ease your fear and worries.
Protect yourself!
LINKS MENTIONED
3 Credit Bureau's Contact Info
Best Identity Theft Protection 2019
TIMESTAMPS
7:37 (57 sec) – There are 3 credit bureaus. You can call them each individually and put a fraud alert out. They will track anytime that your cards are used or someone attempts to take a line of credit out or if they think there is some behavior that is out of line from what you actively use your cards for. So you can do a fraud alert…that’s the first step. When we realized that she had my social security number, we went back to those 3 credit bureaus and we actually froze everything. So freezing means only I have the information to unfreeze them. They give you a case number and I will have to personally talk to each bureau if I want to go make a large purchase, meaning if I want to buy a home or a car.

Somatic Sexology – What is that?!
Somatic Sexologists support their clients’ individual personal growth, empowerment and integration, and their emotional, physical, mental, spiritual and sexual well-being. Ep 028 | Life Hacks being Preventative vs Corrective
I have discovered some life hacks that are too good to be kept a secret, so I’m dishing all about them today! I have been on a journey to live my best life from the inside out and I am living a life of prevention rather than correction because it’s so much easier to prevent things than it is to have to correct them. By incorporating supplements, proper exercise, having a proper skincare routine and maintaining a healthy diet, your body will not only thank you, but will have more energy to do the things you love!
Listen to my journey and be prepared to be inspired to start yours today!
What we’re talking about
From Inflammation to Diet, Exercise & Supplements
After seeing my mother and grandmother die from rare cancers, I have made it my mission to be healthy and to learn all I can about my body and how to treat it properly. I am sharing my issues with inflammation and how I tackle them along with how important food is and knowing what you are putting into your body.
Being Preventive Instead of Corrective
Skincare is one of the most important things I talk about and believe in. From protecting your skin on a daily basis from the sun to preventing breakouts and wrinkles, I have found an over-the-counter product line that does all of this and more! I’m a firm believer that you should take preventive measures instead of needing to head down a corrective path later on.
Finding Gratitude Every Day
Meditation and gratitude are two things I practice daily and know make a difference in my life. Taking time to feel grateful for simple pleasures and joys in life can not only change your attitude but can open you up for more joy and love in your life.
Small changes can have big effects!

From running workshops to uniting people, Cheryl is filled with ways to grow your business and reach your goals.
It’s time to ready, aim, shoot for your goals!
What we’re talking about
Having More Than One Passion
Cheryl shares how she has many passions which include uniting people, teaching them to be influencers, and working with entrepreneurs on their online marketing strategies. It’s possible to not only have many passions but to be able to fulfill them as well.
Having an End Goal
Cheryl discusses how she teaches the process of “Ready, Aim, Shoot” and how important it is to have an end goal in mind rather than tackling one project at a time. Having a strategy and overall goal will help you grow your business and achieve your goals.
Your Reason For Doing What You Do
One of Cheryl’s tips is to not only have a passion for what you’re doing but to know why you are doing it and want to do it. Your “why” is going to serve you in growing your business. It is something that will keep you going when you the journey gets tough.

12:27 (32 sec CH) – I was actually talking about the ready, shoot, aim process. A lot of entrepreneurs take that as like a negative because they don’t actually think the process through. It’s like ok, I’m ready, I’m gonna aim and I’m gonna shoot but I really don’t know what the end goal is. I’m gonna shoot for this one project, this one task but I’m not sure what the overall goal is and strategy that I’m going for. When I say that ready shoot aim, I really mean having that strategy in place and just going for it.

Ep 025 | Meet my Podcast PIMP (Interview with Michelle Glogovac)
Coming out from behind the podcast today is Michelle Glogovac who not only writes the show notes for The Confidence Crown but also sources our guests and pitches me to be interviewed on other podcasts. After an 18 year career in corporate aviation, Michelle decided to make the big switch to starting her own business focusing on the podcast world while staying at home to raise her two toddlers. We are discussing how she made that leap, manages a business, kids and has a husband who works from home as well and still finds time to write a blog filled with wine reviews and cocktail recipes.
You’re going to find the encouragement to wake up and make that career switch!
What we’re talking about
Making a Change, Not Just a Pivot
After 18 years in corporate aviation, Michelle didn’t make a small pivot in her career, she switched completely. She changed industries and even launched her own business from scratch. Discovering what her true passion and deciding to get uncomfortable made it an easy move to make and has allowed her freedom and flexibility.
From Pitching to Guest Sourcing to Show Notes
Once Michelle discovered the purple podcast button from iTunes, she decided to work on everything in the podcast world. She pitches podcasters to other podcasts, sources guests for podcasts (including this one!) and writes show notes to help audiences find podcasts they can relate to.
Educating Yourself to Build Confidence
Confidence is something that we work on daily and Michelle says her confidence comes from educating herself on all that she does. She remains informed and up-to-date and therefore she feels confident in what she does. Education of any kind is the best kind.
No matter where you are in life, find your passion and go after it!!

I’m not going to tell you something that I can’t back up and to me that gives me the confidence that I know what I’m talking about. There’s the imposter syndrome and there’s a lot of people who you know even in Social Media will say oh I’m a strategist or I’m a manager and I can do this, but they don’t know all of these little things. It’s a lot of work. Social Media is a ton of work and to be confidence in saying I know what I’m doing, I’m educating myself. I’m making sure that I’m keeping up to date with everything there is and I’m all about educating myself wherever I can, whether it’s with wine or my kids.

Ep 024 | Shine Your Light (Interview with Sarah Pendrick)
Founder and creator of GirlTalk, Sarah Pendrick shares with us how she always knew her purpose was to help empower women around the world and how she is making that happen on a daily basis. Embracing who you are and living your life by sharing your gifts with the world is what each and every one of us should be doing. Sarah is inspirational and will make you want to show up in life as you are. She’s changing the stereotype of what “girl talk” is and proving that it’s a good thing.
Get ready to shine bright!
What we’re talking about
Finding Out Who You Are Meant To Be
Sarah always knew what she was meant to do. If you’re struggling to figure out what your purpose is, Sarah recommends looking back at what you wanted to do when you were younger. Find inspiration in that and start living your life the way you were meant to.
Being Yourself
Each and every one of us has special gifts that need to be shared with the world regardless of what anyone else thinks. You shouldn’t be dimming your light to please anyone else because that means you’re punishing yourself. Be who you were meant to be and have confidence in yourself. Sarah reminds us that confidence is a choice and a constant practice.
Becoming More
You should always be open to learning new things because that is the only way to better yourself. Listening to what others have to offer, finding a coach (who also has a coach!), and discovering ways to expand your gifts are such important things you can do for yourself.
Enjoy who you are and share it with the world!

Ep 022 | Mercury In Retrograde, NOT!
Ugh, wasn’t Mercury in retrograde supposed to have ended two weeks ago?! Well, it seems to have overstayed its welcome and it’s no fun! So much emotion and drama going on… I’m joining you solo again this week, and we are talking about the workplace and how manners seem to been forgotten in this new virtual world. I’m also sharing some of my tips on what it’s like starting in a new position and how you shouldn’t be afraid to fail, as well as willing to do it all.
What we’re talking about
Manners and Respect Go A Long Way
It seems that manners in the workplace lack these days. Whether the corporation who can’t tell an applicant yes or no or we’re undecided on a job or an applicant who doesn’t send a simple thank you card and follow up; manners are lacking. A “please” and “thank you” go such a very long way and need to be something that is practiced day in and day out, especially in the workplace.
Be Willing to Fail
No matter where you are in your career journey, you have to be willing to fail and be ok with it. Part of failing is learning why you failed and what you can do better. Failures are actually lessons to be understood to help you grow as an entrepreneur, employee and as a person.
Giving It Your All
Starting out in a new career is not only scary but comes with a territory filled with others who know more than you do. Be open to learning from others and be sure to learn the basics. You can’t start a business or any position without learning the way the entire operation runs, otherwise, you won’t be able to grow in what you do.
Communicate, be kind and go change the world!

TIMESTAMPS
17:18 (56 sec) – You have to remember the person who started the business before you, they did all the steps from the bottom to the top, so why aren’t you doing them all? Why do you think you can skip around them? You can’t. You will only be good in one part of it and you become the weak link because there will be somebody else who’s willing to not only do your job but 3 other jobs. So I’m going to say it again, take down the pride a bit, the ego needs to be checked at the door, and you need to be open to learning everything. You’re coming in with contributions, you’re bringing your intelligence, what you are naturally gifted at, but you’re also there to learn what makes the whole thing tick. I promise you will be a better business person, you’ll be a better partner and you’ll be a better human.

Ep 019 | Are You Living A Charged Life?
Rock concerts are some of the most energy filled places you can go and the beauty is that everyone there wants to be there and has the same thing in common. This past week I went to a conference that felt like a rock concert and I was getting coached! Yes, the coach has a coach and why not?! My passion in life is to improve the lives of others through confidence and self-belief and today we are discussing the types of people out there and how we can take back our lives and go after our childhood dreams.
Let me know where you are on your journey because I want to help you reach your goals!
What we’re talking about
Categories of People
There seems to be three types of people and discovering which category you fall into will help you figure out how to grow and discover your passion. The three types are caged, comfortable and charged. We go into how each is defined and what they mean so you can decide where you want to be.
The Life You Want
Think back to what you wanted to be when you grew up. Is that what you became? Is it still something you want to be or do? Start journaling about the type of life you want to have and look for similarities and differences in the life you currently live. What can you do to make changes?
The Life You Have
The life you are living and have is affected and molded by your childhood, decisions you’ve made and decisions others have made for you. Are you leading a life that someone else decided you should or have you taken control of your life and are following your dreams and living out your passions?
You can have what you want. Write down your dreams and let’s chase them together!

018 | A Week of Firsts
This past week was one of firsts for me and I’m sharing it with you. From launching my first book to speaking about it in public and more. Discover what BE #StrongHER, my guide to building confidence is all about and what this guide can do for you. Listen to an excerpt of this guide and how it will help you build rock solid confidence and help you manage unshakeable fears.
You were born to rule the world and share your talents, so let’s get comfortable with being uncomfortable!
What we’re talking about
Self-Love Is Not Selfish
Self-love is not a selfish act and is actually something that should be practiced daily. Self-love doesn’t have to come in the form of a bubble bath or a facial. It can be present in the thoughts you have of yourself, in how you treat yourself and how you follow your dreams instead of pushing them aside. Self-love is caring for yourself inside and out.
Being Compassionate With Yourself
Building confidence takes practice and time. It won’t always be easy, so learning how to be compassionate with yourself is important and must be practiced. The BE #StrongHER guide will help you learn to be compassionate with yourself and to embrace who you are.
Training Your Brain With Positivity
The way you talk to yourself and the thoughts you have is how your brain thinks who you really are. If you train your brain with negative thoughts, then chances are you won’t build the confidence you need and deserve to have. Training your brain to think positively will not only change your outlook on yourself but on the world as well.
Thank you for letting me a part of your journey to becoming the strong, confident person you truly are. I can’t wait to hear your thoughts on my book and to see you in our community on Facebook!

017 | Do You Believe in Magic (Interview with Michelle Hillier )
Author and coach, Michelle Hillier is our guest today and she is simply the epitome of great knowledge and wisdom. While heading to her 9-5, Michelle was in a bad car accident which left her unable to look to the left for 5 years. After working with a coach and hypnotherapy, Michelle was able to turn her neck and unlock secrets to self-healing that applies to every single one of us, regardless of the type of medicine we believe in.
This sounds like a serious episode, but it’s also jam packed with our closet weirdness that we are more than happy to share, along with Michelle’s amazing advice regarding the paths we are traveling on, the choices we make and how we see others is actually a reflection of how we see ourselves. I loved this interview and know you will too!
What we’re talking about
Your Mind
We’ve all heard the phrase, “your mind is a powerful thing,” but do you truly understand just how powerful it is? Our mindset is what helps us decide whether we can actually tackle a goal. If your mind believes you can do something, you will. If your mind decides that your body can heal itself, whether with medicine or hypnotherapy or something else, then your body will do what it needs to in order to take action. If your mind believes in something, then you believe in it.
Finding Focus
As business owners and entrepreneurs, we often hear that someone’s career goals didn’t work out, yet they simply didn’t take the time to truly work at it or they were chasing multiple dreams at once, not giving one dream their utmost attention. Michelle’s acronym for FOCUS is one you’ll want to remember forever: Follow One Course Until Successful.
We All Have Some Weird In Us
Michelle’s secret for us is that she’s weird. She shares some of her quirky ways and surprise…I share them as well! The truth is that they aren’t weird or quirky things, they’re the personality traits that make us who we are. The people who don’t appreciate that, simply aren’t our people. When Michelle met her husband, he didn’t say she was weird…he said she was cute and embraced exactly who she was. That’s how you know you’ve met the one!
Michelle was such a fun guest and I’m so privileged to know her not just from a networking perspective, but as a friend as well.

20:00 (21 sec – MH) – That is the secret sauce and honestly, that’s really why I broke down the book the way that I did. It’s broken down basically into 3 sections; mind, body and spirit. It starts in the mind, because if the mind doesn’t believe that anything is possible, if the mind doesn’t believe that you can make a change, then everything else is basically a no-go.
39:08 (41 sec - MH) – I think more than anything, I just want people to know that they were someone before their first heartbreak and they were someone before their first disappointment, before their first no, before their first rejection, and it is absolutely possible to get back to who you were before the negative beliefs and negative decisions and the negative, just mindset set in and through the work really, if they do read the book, this is my ask…do not let this be something that sits on their shelf. Do not let this be something that you read and don’t do the exercises. It is really meant to be something that transforms the way that you think about life, about yourself, about what is possible.

If you’ve checked out Vogue or follow lululemon LA, then chances are you know my guest’s work, but today you are getting the awesome opportunity to hear who Ashley Streff really is and how she became a photographer of celebrities, The Bachelor and much more! Ashley is not only my photographer, but a good friend as well. She knew at age 17 that she wanted to shoot for Vogue and celebrities and set out in the world to make that dream a reality. Fresh out of college, armed with an iPhone and in Paris, she took photos and submitted them to PhotoVogue…and the rest is history!
Listen in as we talk life as a true entrepreneur, how much we love The Bachelor, what it takes to truly be an influencer and how you just have to get your feet wet before jumping all the way in.
What we’re talking about
Childhood Dreams Becoming Reality
We all had childhood dreams but so often they simply vanish. Ashley’s childhood dream is something she was able to live out and not just when she hit middle age, but right out of college. Ashley shares with us how she made her dream come true and has grown into one of the most sought-after photographers in LA.
Always Learning
You can never know too much and the truth is that you must learn more in order to grow more. Ashley and I discuss how you should always keep learning, whether it’s from others, in a class or simply learning from your mistakes.
Cultivate Relationships
No matter what business you’re in, you have and should be building relationships. Cultivating relationships and truly getting to know other people and their needs will put you so much further ahead than if you simply focus on yourself. Forming relationships can be a win-win not only for you personally but for your business as well, afterall, you don’t have a business if you don’t have clients.

And I had this massive sort of in the fall, where everything came crashing and these things happen for entrepreneurs. This always happens a bunch, kind of like not that it goes wrong but kind of goes wrong and then you sort of have a breakthrough and then because you’re evolving, so I had that moment in my life all these things changing and it’s been kind of an interesting road and since then I’ve really slowed down and she said to me, she was like “oh I get it now, this is your childhood dream.”

THE CONFIDENCE CROWN PODCAST NOTES: www.theconfidencecrown.com
Ep 014 | Overcoming The Past and Living Your Purpose Today I am so excited to share with you the first guest on The Confidence Crown, Sara Schulting-Kranz. Sara is one of the most inspirational people on the planet and yet her past experiences give her every reason to be otherwise. Sara shares with us how her life was not just affected but completely changed when she was raped at the age of 17 and became pregnant. She’s raised this amazing son of hers and went on to get married and have two more children. It wasn’t until 17 years later that she found out her husband was not only an addict but gay as well. Sara has faced all of this with strength and dignity and now empowers women to do the same.
This episode is powerful and serious, but it’s also uplifiting and the greatest example of resilience. I hope you enjoy meeting Sara as much as I have and I encourage you to share your stories.
What we’re talking about
Life Experiences
Life is simply one giant experience, but it’s also a series of many experiences that make up the life you live. Our childhoods impact who we become as adults and so often we are faced with whether we allow our childhoods and past experiences to have an impact on our future or if we want to let them mold us into stronger people.
You Are Not Alone
When bad things happen, it’s easy to feel like you are completely alone, but today we discuss how that simply is not the truth. Whether it’s the #MeToo movement or being raped or being assaulted, there are so many others who have also been through it and want to help you and encourage you to continue living your life and making it a powerful one. Sara shares with us how she now helps women who have been through betrayel trauma and what that looks like.
Living Your Life
We all have a choice in what kind of life we want to live and what experiences we will allow to mold it. Finding your purose and rising above what others have done to you is one of the most challenging things, but in the end, it will bring a new light to your life. Sara and I discuss how we have found happiness in our lives and passions that bring us purpose in not only living our best lives but helping others to do the same.
I am so thankful to have had Sara on as a guest and I hope you are feeling inspired and most importantly, not alone.

35:55 (36 sec - SSK) There were some moments where I was like, my God, you know did this happen? It starts to eat at you in a way that, not where you doubt yourself necessarily, but to start to really…rethinking; did this happen? Did it happen? Oh my God did I cause this to happen? Am I at fault for this? Maybe if I wouldn’t have done this or done that, might have just screamed more, whatever it is, there’s this whole…you take a lot of it on.
39:47 (14 sec – LH) It did take many women’s voices. It did take courage to speak up and it’s very important that we continue to talk about these things and we don’t belittle them because we need it to stop.

THE CONFIDENCE CROWN PODCAST NOTES: www.theconfidencecrown.com
Today we go deep, deep into a world that many of us have experienced, we have all witnessed it in the news and I am going to share my story with you about my personal journey. As a former talent agent, I always worked hard and strived for more in all that I did. But what happens when you have to decide whether climbing the corporate ladder is worth being objectified? Listen in as I share my #MeToo story and what I think are the steps you need to be taking to demand respect.
Deciding what to spend your money on can be tricky, especially when you are dazzled by all the pretty things out there. From clothes to shoes to handbags and more…oh my! There’s a difference between smart spending and being frugal. Listen in as I dish all of my shopping tips, tell you some of my favorite places to get deals, and how you can not only take care of your self esteem but also your health and beauty without breaking the bank.
Have you ever wondered why someone doesn’t have a child, or even questioned why I don’t have one? Our lives are filled with choices to make starting with whether we make our beds in the morning to how we will fuel our bodies to who will be our life partner to having children and much more. Join me as I take you on my journey to rescuing Weegie, how his loyalty and oodles of unconditional love changed my life. I can’t wait to learn all about you!
I was raised with the gold standard of giving back 10% of your annual earnings to those less fortunate. But I’m also a firm believer that if you’re not yet in a position to financially give, then give your TIME!
Nothing feels better than physically giving back!! Another side effect, it's also a GREAT place to network! So, where do you start? I go over all the steps to decide where to donate your hard earned dollars or spend your weekends volunteering!
I'm hitting on another story close to home, sun damage, and ways I can help you be SUN SMART! I’m an LA native, meaning I grew up on the BEACH, literally! Me, in a diaper, in a playpen on the sand, facing the water… those are my first childhood memories and why I still call the beach my happy place. BUT, I have ALL the sun-damage to prove it and it ain’t pretty!
I'm kicking off the New Year with some of my favorite self-care tips when it comes to breakouts and acne in this episode. As unfair as it is, zits can happen to ANYONE at ANY age! But just because they do, doesn't mean you can't do something about it. I'm sharing my own experiences with adult onset cystic acne, squashing some facts from fiction, along with various tips & tricks to help you prevent breakouts and/or treat current ones!
Saying goodbye to my Mom and then my Grandmother were definitely the hardest obstacles I’ve ever had to overcome… even the second time around. But I’m here to say, you are not alone. You will find your way again. And I’m here to support and honor your calling. Sending love to all my fellow caregivers and empaths. - xoxo Lisa
So which one are you? Skeptic, in one, or considering it? Whatever your position, in this episode, I'm here to share with you my personal journey from no freaking way to what the heck was I waiting for?!
Nobody likes dating... but in LA it can feel like your stranded on a Survivor island or auditioning for the Bachelor. In this episode, I share a bunch of war stories about my colorful love life, including that time Dr. Drew set me straight about a troubled relationship.
The raw and real continuation episode of both a tribute to my Mom and a tale of how limiting beliefs are formed and broken. My Mom worked hard to raise me to be an independent strong woman, despite the unhealthy relationships we faced with my father and grandfather.
Shout out to all the single Momma's!! This episode is both a tribute to my Mom and a tale of how limiting beliefs are formed and broken. My Mom worked hard to raise me to be an independent strong woman, despite the unhealthy relationships we faced with my father and grandfather.
In this episode, I address one of the biggest stumbling blocks new business owners and entrepreneurs face, the other four lettered word... F-E-A-R, with strategies and tips to overcome it.
The episode that started it all! This may sound familiar as I'm sharing a story I discussed on the Balanced Blonde about extreme diet and exercise (w/Tracy Anderson) and my journey back to wellness.
