Our White IPA fuses two beer styles with different characteristics, making this a truly unique beer indeed!
Our White IPA is effectively a Belgian Witbeir, hopped like an IPA, so you can expect flavour in spades with this limited release.
Rounding out the legends in our Operations & Logistics team, Warwick "Borgy" Borg joins us to give his thoughts in his podcast debut!

We've got another double release this week with two interesting beer styles! Following up from our Oat Cream IPA, we've added another Hazy out of the Revel stable, the DDH Hazy IPA! With punchy, tropical notes that are welcomed from this style, it's one that will most certainly be enjoyed!
The next is our Nelson Sauvin DDH SHIBA. Following on from our Single Hop IPA series, this 'India Black Ale" gives us a chance to showcase the Nelson Sauvin hop variety, but features dark malts with complexities that will really make you think!

Last weeks’ episode was Part 1 of our sensory evaluation, brought to us by Hendo from Rockstar Brewer! We learned about the characteristics of acetaldehyde, which produces a flavour similar to green apples and trans-2-nonenal which then produces a papery, cardboard type of flavour standards.
This was personally a very educational and informative session as everyone’s sense of taste and smell is very unique and it was interesting to talk through these standards!

As Brisbane locals would be aware, Scottish Based company Brewdog has recently opened up in Murrarie, less than 6km away from Revel. Brewdog have made a name for themselves in the industry for being one of the largest independently owned brewing companies. In this week's short episode, we touch on the difference between Independent Craft Beer and Big Beer. Both producers of these beers put a considerable amount of time and effort into brewing their beer. Parallels can be drawn between a local baker making bread for their community and those producing Independent Craft Beer.While we have all known some of the larger brands as household names for years and enjoyed them over time, Independent Craft Beer certainly offers a unique variety of beers that can appeal to all palettes. Revel Brewing Co make everything from a Lager, Summer Ale and Pale Ale, right up to Stouts, a Berliner Weisse, which is a Strawberry Sour, and beers made from hops that are so fresh and delicate that can only be made once a year.
