In this message, Bishop Malcolm speaks about growth and compares the leadership of Moses and Joshua. According to Bishop Malcolm, under the leadership of Moses, Isreal was still a baby so God carried them while they were in the wilderness, God fed them and their cloths and shoes grew with them. However, under Joshua's leadership, Isreal had to grow up before they could repossess the Promise Land. Meaning they had to find their own food, water and clothing as part of the growth process. Thus, concluding that growth requires us to leave our comfort zone behind before we can discover and tap into the power that God gave us.

According to Bishop Malcolm, when Jesus was found guilty and sentenced to death, he chose not to speak because choosing when to speak is an important strategy for victory. In this message, Bishop Malcolm draws a parallel between Adam and Christ. According to Bishop Malcolm, Jesus Christ was last Adam and the head of the redeemed family, just as the first Adam was the head of the human family. Bishop Malcolm went on to say, Jesus Christ was tempted just like Adam was. However. Christ defeated the enemy in a Wilderness while Adam was defeated by the enemy in a Garden. Therefore, victory is always linked to our psychology, our way of thinking and believing and not to our circumstance, so that even in the worse of circumstances, the enemy can still be defeated.

In this message, Bishop Malcolm talks about faith, the various types of faith we will need. According to Bishop Malcolm, we do not just walk by faith but we walk by growing our faith. Therefore, if we get our faith wrong, then we often become angry with God and mad at the church. Bishop Malcolm also stated that they are different levels of faith, the first level is hope. Hope is the faith to get out of a negative situation. The next level of faith after hope is called Trust, which is the faith to get through a situation we cannot control. After trust, the next level of faith is Aspiration, which is the faith to get more from God. Bishop Malcolm goes on to say, the faith that gets us out (hope) will not get us through, the faith that gets us through (trust), will not us more. Therefore as we walk by faith in our faith journey, we need to be growing and feeding our faith at the same time so we are ready to move with our faith to deal with any situation we find ourselves in.

In this episode, we learn that greatness is conceived with we say I can, but it is only born when we say I cannot. We negotiate and navigate tensions between our strengths and weaknesses because none of us is strong in every area of our lives. According to Bishop Malcolm, our weaknesses are not our enemy and they can become our friend if we would make them our servant and not our master. Bishop Malcolm also goes on to say, our weakness can serve our interest if we learn to use them to our advantage. Our weakness also gives God the opportunity to manifest his strength because with God all things are possible and if we were strong in every area of our lives, then we will never know the strength of God.

Bishop Malcolm also goes on to say, families are the basic unit of society and society cannot survive without strong families. During our new series Kings, Queens and Concubines, we will be dealing with relationships in relation to theology, psychology and how it relates to modern-day Christianity. We will also explore the importance of having good, strong and positive relationships as well as our ability to refuse to engage in negative and toxic relationships. In the episode, we learn that God’s original plan for man is for man to be in a polygamous relationship based on him creating only one woman for Adam in the garden of Eden. According to Bishop Malcolm, in the old testament, there are permissions for men to have a monogamous relationship. In the accent world, the wife represented the family business and the concubine represented pleasure. Bishop Malcolm also goes on to say, theologically having multiple wives is not permitted in accordance with the New Testament and modern societal values. However, it does not destroy the psychology revealed, that a relationship with one wife should comprise of both business and pleasure.
During the episode, Elder Rhule claims that we all need relationships because no one is an island and we are limited by ourselves. However, iron sharpens iron, meaning that you need to engage in relationships with like-minded people to stay sharp. Elder Rhule also goes on to say, everyone, every day should try to cultivate good and healthy relationships and we must not allow our negative relational experiences to cripple our future.
To conclude our series on The Wisdom of God, Elder Joseph Luke claims that as a ministry God wants us to minister to the whole man. According to Elder Luke, we need to be able to minister to the social, physical and spiritual life of an individual in order for them to be a balanced Christian. There are parts of an individual that are visible to the human eye and then there are other parts that is are not visible. However, God sees it's all and God knows what we need. Elder Luke goes on to say, God loves us so much that at times he will allow us to feel the fire to know that it is hot. But, he will not allow it to destroy our destiny. He will allow us to stumble but he would not let us lay down for too long. The idea here is that wisdom will come through our mistakes and there is always a price to pay, it's not cheap and the price will always involve a sacrifice.
In this episode we learn that wisdom can be defined as the ability to make strategic decisions and smart choices. In other words, the ability to discern difference. According to Bishop Malcolm, wisdom will make you stand out in ways that knowledge will not because wisdom is an action word, it's a verb. Therefore, we are not wise in what we know but rather wise in what we do. Bishop Malcolm also claims that wisdom teaches us that we must focus on taking incremental step daily towards our ultimate goal because many incremental steps equals a monumental leap over a period of time. Thus making success like a jigsaw puzzle or a mosaic which is made up of lots of little pieces. If we focus too much on the picture in the puzzle we risk omitting the little pieces.
In the episode, we learn that the fear of God is the beginning of wisdom. However, it does not mean we should be afraid of God because it can be extremely difficult to love someone you are afraid of. According to Bishop Malcolm, the fear of the Lord is about realising God's sovereignty is absolute authority and about realising that he is the fountain and the source of all wisdom. Therefore, there is nothing wise that works against Him and anything working against His council is unwise. Bishop Malcolm also goes on to encourage us to seek the Lord for guidance before making an important decisions.
We kick off 2020 with our new series called "The Wisdom of God" and according to Bishop Malcolm, wisdom will give us visibility, influence, dominance and power. Wisdom will cause us to light up the night and those who are wise will shine and not those who are just knowledgable. Bishop Malcolm also goes on to say, wisdom stands in contrast to knowledge because everyone has knowledge. Therefore, it cannot be just knowledge that sets us apart and unused knowledge is potential power, only when knowledge is used and set in motion does it be kinetic power.
In this final crossover service of 2019 we learn that faith demands us to celebrate the end from the beginning so that we receive it before it appears. Faith is the substance of things hoped for, it is the evidence of things not seen. Meaning faith gives substance to everything we hope and prove the existence of things we have not seen. See you in 2020.
During this episode we discover that we can learn a lot about God by simply looking at His creation. According to Bishop Malcolm, when we look at creation, what we see is circles, Bishop Malcolm goes on to say, the universe is very circular because we have circular planets spinning on its own axis while also orbiting their nearest star. Therefore, everything God does moves in circles. However, we move in straight lines. Bishop Malcolm also claims that moving in straight lines means that our beginning and ending are far from each other. Therefore, we must to move in circles which will allow us to see the beginning and the ending at the same time.
In this episode, we learn that in the book of judges, whenever Israel asked for deliverance God raised up a man, including Gideon and Samson in response to prayer and deliverance. According to Bishop Malcolm, God typically answers our prayers through other people and as much as we are people of faith that look to God we must not discount the presence of good people in our lives because good people often are the presence of God in your life. Bishop Malcolm also goes on to say, if your vision is big enough, it will command the presence of other people. However, if you can do it all by yourself then your vision is too small and not worthy of your testimony. Therefore we must look to God and anticipate the arrival of a destiny helper in the form of a person.
In this series called The Attitude Of Gratitude, we will deal with how to get more by firstly by appreciating and being grateful for what we already have. The idea here is to use what we already have to get what we want and desire. In this episode, we learn that our destiny is bigger than our dream, our destiny is what God sees and what God has planned for for us. Our dream is what we see and want for ourselves. What God has planned for us is much bigger than our dream because it will impact many more people than we will ever meet. According to Bishop Malcolm, we can live our dream and destroy our destiny at the same time. Therefore, we must learn to forgive so we can live our dream and manifest our destiny.
This week our guest speaker Matt Bird goes on to describe the fundamental differences between being a disciple of John and a disciple of Jesus. According to Mr Bird, sin will take you further than you want to go and cost you more than you are willing to pay. Mr Bird also goes on to say, Jesus was known for what he was for, not for what he was against. Therefore, as a Christian, are you going to be defined by what you are for or against? Are you going to withdraw and step back to protect your own holiness like the disciples of John? Or are you going to step forward and engage with the community like the disciples of Jesus.
In this series called The Attitude Of Gratitude, we will deal with how to get more by firstly by appreciating and being grateful for what we already have. The idea here is to use what we already have to get what we want and desire. During this episode, we learn that gratitude is the attitude that ultimately determines your altitude in life and if you want to go higher, faster and further, you start by recognising the value of the things you already possess. According to Bishop Malcolm, you have to call your nothing something, because if you call your something nothing, you will loose the something that you have. Bishop Malcolm also goes on to say, until you value what you currently have, you are not qualified for anything more and have excluded yourself from better because gratitude is the key to greatness.

How to find it and how to use it. In this episode, we learn that the Tower of Babel project was a good idea but with bad intentions. According to Bishop Malcolm, there is a difference between a good idea and a God idea. A good idea is a good idea for selfish reasons and a God idea is a good idea for God. Bishop Malcom goes on to say that the Babel project was a good idea because of the striking similarities with the Day of Pentecost. However, it was not a God idea because Nimrod was trying to make the people Godless. Bishop Malcolm also goes on to say that when people have personal interest in a collective initiative, then they have transitioned from savagery to civility and are in a much better place because of the power of collaboration. Therefore, if your vision is something you can execute by yourself, then your vision is too small. However, if your vision require cooperation and collaboration from others, then it is a vision that is bigger than the individual and therefore must consider the interest of others.

According to Bishop Malcolm, such was their success, that everyone became familiar with the gospel and were within range of a Christian and a Christian church. Bishop Malcolm also goes on to describe how within a generation, the Christian church was embedded in every part of society, the church had an impact on the political, social, economic, spiritual and cultural fabric of society.

For example, the faith that gets you out a problem, is not the same faith that will get you through a problem. Therefore, in the series we will look at what sort of faith you need right now. How to find it and how to use it. In this episode with Elder Clinton Rhule, we learn that things begin to happen when you speak. Word have power and words have meaning. According to Elder Rhule, we create what we speak, so when we speak, we must speak life because when we speak, things begin to manifest. Therefore, we must speak to our mountain with faith.
In our series 'Strategic Faith' will look at how to use the right sort of faith for the right sort of circumstances. For example, the faith that gets you out a problem, is not the same faith that will get you through a problem. Therefore, in the series we will look at what sort of faith you need right now. How to find it and how to use it. In this episode we learn that the condition of the old covenant in the Old Testament was obedience and the condition of the new covenant in the New Testament is faith. According to Bishop Malcolm, we are saved by grace through faith and grace is the provision God has made for us, faith is the access to that provision. Bishop Malcolm goes on to say, it does not matter how much God has provided, it cannot be accessed without faith. Thus, making faith a form of spiritual currency and without faith it is impossible to please God.

On the flip side, everyone else, white and otherwise, sees themselves as superior to black people. Makes it challenging to see a diverse church with black leadership.
In this episode, we learn from Minister Kirvin Henry that Jesus called his disciples and gave them power and authority outside the four walls of the church. According to Minister Henry, too many times as Christians, we are too focused on delivering those inside the church building. However, we need to go outside the church building to deliver others if we truly claim to have power and authority. The idea here, is about the church having a real influence in the wider society outside the four walls of the church.

Then one could argue that your life has no meaning at all. Bishop Malcolm also goes on to say that, if you believe that you are not a spiritual being with a soul, then the question, why am I here? Will not apply to you. However, if you are a believer in Christ, then you understand that you are fundamentally a spiritual being in your essence, you have a soul which is your cognition and you live in a body which is your form. Therefore, you are here on a mission from heaven.
