After a recent episode of The Biker Rebellion featuring how to handle interactions with law enforcement officers when pulled over, one viewer asked us to clarify Iowa's gun laws. In this episode, we'll do just that.
From breaking down exactly how gun permit laws differ from state to state, to discussing if it's okay to bring a gun into a business, we'll help you understand your rights while navigating Iowa's gun laws.
Here are 5 things you MUST remember if you get pulled over! When you've been a lawyer for almost 40 years, you pick up a few tips. Pete Leehey is ready to share them. When a police officer stops you, the first thing you need to do is make a judgment call on whether you're in a situation where if you behave a certain way, you may well get a break. Alternatively, if you don't think that's going to happen, you may need to go into immediate protect yourself mode. We have two different potential scenarios here: friendly cop and unfriendly cop. The friendly cop may let you off with a warning. The unfriendly one, well… that’s what this episode is all about! It's not always cops vs bikers, but when it is, know your rights!

Welcome to The Biker Rebellion. Once a month we, take a look through the comment section and see what questions our viewers have, then answer them.
Now, a quick disclaimer, we’re not handing you legal advice here. Everyone’s situation is different, so we recommend talking to a lawyer about whatever you may be going through. That said, there is information worth stating, so here are the time stamps for each question:
[00:024]- An Allstate-insured driver hit my car, admitted fault, and was ticketed. Even so, Allstate is refusing to pay and is stonewalling me. What should I do?
[02:05]- Is it true that my insurance company can hire a lawyer for me to fight someone else's insurance company? If so, should I trust them to handle it?
[02:57]- "What is “Bad Faith” and how do I know if my insurance company is Guilty of it?"
[05:23]- "Can the insurance company refuse to pay my medical bills if my vehicle was not damaged?"
[07:12]- "My Doctor says I need surgery but my insurance won't approve it. What do I do?"
[09:17]- "I got hurt as a passenger in a motorcycle accident. Can I file a claim? Who's insurance is liable?"
[11:33]- "What should I know about insurance settlement tactics? I think I can handle this on my own."
[13:12]- "My family keeps asking me about my case on Facebook (or other social media). What should I say?"
[16:33]- "I've heard something about a "permanent impairment rating." What's that all about?"
[17:42]- "I was injured in a car crash but wasn't wearing a seatbelt. Do I still have a case?"
[18:45]- "Can I be assigned fault if I'm not wearing a helmet and am involved in a motorcycle crash?"
