I battled with mental health and struggled to stay motivated in a corporate job. I felt totally lost in the world around me.When I was finally diagnosed with ADHD in 2021, I discovered that ADHD is so much more than I thought it was and I was totally shocked at how much it had impacted every area of my life.As a movement and meditation coach and soon-to-be ADHD wellness coach, I support people like you to discover their strength from the inside out. Living with ADHD can be a really bloody challenging BUT if we can join forces and find confidence and acceptance in who we are, then I believe we can all start living a more fulfilled and positive life. How many times have you thought about closing down your business this month? This week? Today?Every single hand went up when I asked four female ADHD founders that question. Because here's what nobody posts on Instagram: running a business with ADHD is the quickest way to figure out how your ADHD shows up as both a struggle AND a strength. In this raw, honest, and hilarious live panel, I sat down with Jess (Sacred and Wild), Cat (Yogi Bare), Katie France (Love Bomb Bags), and Natt (Waking Dreams) to talk about the reality of being a female founder with ADHD.We talk about people-pleasing that nearly cost Cat her entire business, Katie's struggle with posting out the right bags to the right people (executive function is REAL), why having two ADHD brains in business together means you might "accidentally commit fraud," and how Jess's perfectionism has kept years of work hidden from the world. But we also talk about why none of us go back. Why the 9-5 isn't an option for brains wired like ours. Why freedom matters more than money. And why, despite everything, we keep showing up.Natt drops the mic with: "Your ADHD would not even be a talking point without capitalism."And Jess reminds us all: "I see the work people put out into the world and I just think, bloody well done. I don't judge it. I just really respect people trying and just being out there doing it."This one's for every woman who's ever felt like giving up but keeps showing up anyway.IN THIS EPISODE:✨ Why we all threaten to quit (regularly)✨ How people-pleasing can cost you everything✨ Executive function struggles are not stupidity✨ The reality of working with other ADHDers✨ How perfectionism keeps you stuck✨ Why we can't go back to corporate burnout✨ The real reason we keep going (it's not money)✨ Why capitalism makes ADHD "problematic"✨ Taking a day off is productive, actually✨ Giving yourself the same grace you give other womenFour incredible women. Four thriving businesses. Four ADHD brains refusing to dim down.Generator. Alive. Colourful. Chaotic. Not broken. Not struggling. Not failing.Bloody well done for just doing it.

For decades, women with ADHD have been told they're "just anxious," "just depressed," or "just stressed." Meanwhile, their physical symptoms - heavy periods, migraines, gut issues, dizziness when standing - have been dismissed as separate problems.

They're not. They're all connected.

Dr. Asad Raffi has assessed thousands of ADHD women and discovered something revolutionary: ADHD is a brain-body condition. The female presentation doesn't even resemble what's in the diagnostic manuals. So how is a clinician using a checklist going to diagnose any woman? They can't. And they haven't.

In this raw and honest conversation, Dr. Asad explains why 50%+ of women sitting in GP waiting rooms could actually have undiagnosed ADHD, why the medical system has failed women for so long, and what actually needs to change.

We explore the micro-fractures of accumulated trauma, why ADHD can look like complex PTSD, the "whole heap of shit" happening beneath the surface that single-lens diagnosis misses, and the critical importance of understanding hormones, inflammation, and the brain-body connection.

And in the most moving moment of the interview, when asked what he said to his teenage daughter when she got diagnosed with ADHD, his answer was simple:

"Welcome to the club."

This conversation will change how you see ADHD, your body, and yourself.

IN THIS EPISODE:

✨ Why physical symptoms are the primary indicator of ADHD in women

✨ The connection between hormones, inflammation, and brain health

✨ Why women have been chronically misdiagnosed for decades

✨ ADHD vs complex PTSD - understanding micro-fractures and accumulated trauma

✨ Why looking at ADHD from a singular lens will always get it wrong

✨ The importance of community, connection, and reaching out

✨ What he told his daughter when she was diagnosed

Dr. Asad Raffi is a leading consultant psychiatrist, founder of Sanctum Healthcare, and father of three girls. His mission was born from his daughter's ADHD diagnosis - and he's determined that no woman is left misunderstood.

You know those thoughts that pop into your head? "What if I just opened this car door on the motorway?" Or "If I don't touch that lamppost in 10 seconds, someone I love will die."

Adam Lind lived with intrusive thoughts so severe, he'd wake up every morning thinking "what's the point?" — until he discovered he wasn't his mind. And he proved it by hitchhiking across 26 countries with £5,000 and a backpack.

This conversation goes deep: from OCD and health anxiety, to why external freedom (living on a narrowboat, travelling the world) means nothing if you're still trapped inside your head. Adam shares how he went from existential spiraling to creating a life of genuine human connection — and why your intrusive thoughts might actually be trying to protect you.

If you've ever felt like your mind is holding you hostage, or you're chasing freedom in all the wrong places, this episode will completely shift your perspective.

INTRUSIVE THOUGHTS: The Man Who Proved You're Not Your Mind

"What if I opened this car door right now?" "If I don't touch that lamppost, my mom will die."

Adam Lind's intrusive thoughts were so severe, he couldn't function. Until he hitchhiked across 26 countries and discovered something therapy couldn't teach him: You are not your mind.

This is the conversation about what happens when you chase external freedom (narrowboat life, traveling the world) but you're still trapped inside your head — and how to finally break free.

I’m yet to meet an ADHDer who isn’t deeply affected by meaningless work.

When there’s no meaning, it can feel like trying to run on empty you’re pushing, pushing, pushing… and then wondering why you’re burnt out and blaming yourself for it.

This week I am back with everyone’s favourite neuroscientist and mental health expert, Dr Miguel, to untangle ADHD in the workplace, purpose, meaning, job hopping, and why quitting is not a character flaw.

Together we untangle:

🧠 Why 9-5 can feel genuinely soul destroying for an ADHD brain, from masking to boredom to open-plan overload

⏰ ADHD time, “BBC clock” culture, and why being ten seconds late can trigger a full body stress response

🌙 Chronotypes, delayed melatonin, and why so many ADHDers get a second wind later in the day

🔥 Hyperfocus productivity, burnout, and the truth about “inconsistency” when you are actually running on nervous system fumes

🧩 ADHD and autism together, how they can clash, how they can support each other, and what it can look like to build a work life with more space

Why listen?

If work has left you carrying that deep, sticky shame… this one’s for you.

Maybe your CV looks like job hop after job hop, and you’ve been labelled a “jack of all trades” because you can’t seem to settle.

Maybe you’ve started things, stopped things, restarted… and blamed yourself every time.

Or you’re constantly caught up in workplace drama, politics, misunderstandings… and it always somehow ends with you feeling like the problem.

Over time it’s so easy to start believing the story:

I’m lazy. I’m inconsistent. I’m too much. I’m not built for adulthood.

But this episode is here to pull that story apart.

To de-shame the patterns.

And to help you see what’s actually going on when an ADHD brain is trying to survive inside systems that don’t fit.

Because you’re not broken.

You just need a way of working that works with your brain… and feels meaningful to you.

You know that electricity at the start of something new…

When you cannot stop thinking about them, texting them, replaying every message in your head, planning weekends away in your mind, and refreshing WhatsApp every three seconds?!

Is that love, or just your ADHD brain chasing dopamine on loud?

This week I am back with everyone’s favourite go-go dancing neuroscientist and mental health expert, Dr Miguel, to untangle ADHD, hyperfocus, love bombing, gut health and long-term love.

Dr Miguel brings the science and eighteen years of lived experience in a relationship with a neurodivergent nervous system, and I bring the tangled ADHD heart.

Together we untangle:

🧠 What hyperfocus actually is in the brain, how it feels in the body, and how to tell the difference between genuine connection and a dopamine high that will burn out fast.

💌 Why ADHDers often come on strong, what really sits behind it, and how intent, safety and reciprocity separate enthusiasm from love bombing.

💔 Why a small comment about a door left open can feel like a punch in the stomach, why divorce rates are higher in ADHD, and how shame and old stories pour petrol on small disagreements.

🍽 Food, gut health and RSD - how your gut bacteria, blood sugar and nervous system can make the difference between taking feedback in your stride or spiralling for hours.

💸 ADHD tax and looking selfish when you are not - and what has helped Miguel and his husband create more safety around money.

Why listen?

Because ADHD does not mean you are doomed in love. It means your nervous system needs different tools.

This episode will help you understand what is biology, what is trauma, what is attachment, and what is actually your values. This is perfect if you are…

🧡 An ADHDer who feels “too much”, “too intense” or “too chaotic” in love

🙄 In a relationship with someone who has ADHD and you are tired of feeling like the responsible one

😞 Someone who keeps burning it all down when things get hard and wondering if you are the problem

I want this episode to feel like a deep breath for your nervous system.

You are not bad at love.

You just have a brain and body that need a different rulebook, and there is real hope for connection that feels safe, grounded and still full of fire.

Let’s get untangled and show the world what we are made of.

If you have ever watched your child come home shattered by another school day, sat in a meeting being told there is “nothing more we can do”, felt torn between hating the “ADHD” label and needing the support… then this episode is for you.

This week, we’re joined by someone who has been around ADHD Untangled since the very beginning. A friend, a big thinker and a man who has poured his life into changing the story for neurodivergent kids and families: Wynford Dore.

On paper, Wynford is the founder of Zing, the owner of private schools and someone who has spent millions researching the brain.

But his story starts at home, with his daughter Susie.

Susie was diagnosed as severely dyslexic around the age of nine. The message the family got was basically, this is just how it is.

As she grew up, the struggle did not stay in the classroom. It crept into her confidence, her mental health and her sense of self. She became so depressed and hopeless that she tried to take her own life, more than once.

Wynford reached the point many parents know too well. Watching his child suffer hurt more than anything else, and “nothing we can do” was not an acceptable answer.

So he did what most people only dream of.

He sold his successful business.

He poured his time, energy and money into finding a different way to help kids like Susie.

That work became the brain development programmes he runs today, helping children, adults and high performers all over the world reset how their brain works and rediscover confidence.

Recently, Wynford lost Susie. After everything they went through and everything their story has changed for others, he now carries that grief as well.

Yet he is still here, still doing this work, still fighting so fewer families have to go through what they did.

And he believes, very strongly, that the word ADHD itself has become an insult.

Not because there is anything wrong with the people who receive that label.

But because of the shame and misunderstanding that have been attached to it.

Together we untangle:

🧠 How labels like ADHD and dyslexia shape confidence, behaviour and self worth at school

🔁 What Wynford’s work shows about neuroplasticity and why the brain can change more than most of us were told

🗣 What to actually say when your child feels stupid, broken or left behind

🚪 How parents and teachers can respond when the system says “nothing more we can do”, and why that sentence is not the end of the road

🌱 Simple, real life ways to start rebuilding hope and meaning again, even after years of failed support or school trauma

Wynford brings decades of experience in brain development and working with children, families and high performers.

I bring the tangled ADHD heart, the coaching room stories and my own belief that ADHD can be both struggle and strength.

This one is tender, honest and at times emotional. It is for:

💭 Parents who are scared their child will never believe in themselves

📚 Teachers and school staff who know the system is failing kids and want to do better

🧡 ADHDers who have felt humiliated by their label, yet also suspect there is real strength in the way their brain works

If you have spent years feeling like the label ADHD is a life sentence, or feeling like you have to pretend it is all positive in order to be accepted, I want this episode to feel like a deep breath for your nervous system.

You are allowed to hold both.

You are allowed to grieve the struggle and still build a life that feels meaningful and yours.

Let’s get untangled and show the world what we are made of. 🧡

Have you ever wondered…

Why you keep chasing intense, slightly toxic love and then get bored when things finally feel calm?

If it is actually love at first sight or just your dopamine having a field day?

If you are simply “too much” for love altogether?

Whether even penguins are as faithful as we were told at school, or if they are out there mixing it up too?

Same.

If you have ever cried over someone you knew was wrong for you, felt like rejection might actually break you, or tried to turn yourself down to be “easier” to love, this episode is for you.

This week I am joined by Oxford-trained evolutionary anthropologist and real-life love scientist, Dr Anna Machin. Yes, that Dr Anna from Diary of a CEO. Together we untangle the messy, addictive, beautiful world of love through the lens of ADHD.

From the very first minute we go straight into the questions you secretly Google at 1am:

❤️ Is this love or just dopamine?

🚩 Why do I fall for red flags then get bored when things are calm?

🤯 Am I actually “too much” for love?

🐧 And if even penguins are at it, is anyone really built for lifelong monogamy?

Dr Anna brings the science. I bring the tangled ADHD heart. Together we untangle:

🧠 Why ADHD brains crave intensity and the high of early chemistry

💞 Why “love at first sight” is a myth and what your brain is really doing

💔 Rejection sensitivity, heartbreak withdrawal and why it hurts so much

📱 Dating apps, overstimulation and why they fry your brain

🐧 What penguins, cheating and monogamy can actually teach us about real connection

This one is tender, funny in places and very real. It is for anyone who has ever been told they are too intense, too emotional, too dramatic or just a bit too much.

If you have spent years trying to be smaller, quieter or easier to love, I want this episode to feel like a deep breath for your nervous system. You are not too much. You simply have a brain and a heart that work differently, and you deserve relationships that get that.

Let’s get untangled and show the world what we are made of. 🧡

If your brain is telling you one thing (“be good, eat clean, regulate”) but your body is quietly raiding the cupboards at 10pm, this episode will make you feel wildly seen.

This week, we’re going back in time to our ADHD Untangled Live Event with everyone’s favourite go to dancing neuroscientist, Dr Miguel Mateas, to talk about something we don’t get taught enough about: the gut-brain connection in ADHD.

Because so many of us have been told our eating is about willpower. Dr Miguel is here to say: it’s about regulation.

Your gut, your microbes, your sleep, your nervous system - they’re all talking to your ADHD brain.

We get into why bingeing shows up, why restriction makes it worse, why late diagnosis, trauma, and ADHD results in more vulnerability to disordered eating, and how to rebuild trust with your body without 57 food rules.

🧠 What we’re Untangling:

🌀 How ADHD, trauma and disordered eating overlap

🥗 Why we use food to self-regulate (and why that’s not “weakness”)

🦠 What the gut-brain axis actually is - in normal human language

🛏 The one habit that helps your gut and your hunger cues more than any diet

🫂 How connection, touch and movement regulate the nervous system too

🚫 Artificial dyes, alcohol and “is this actually making ADHD worse?”

🍰 Why food is love - and why we keep denying ourselves it

💫 Why listen:

Because when you understand your biology, you stop blaming your personality.

This conversation will help you work with your ADHD body, not against it - so meals feel calmer, binges feel less shameful, and you remember you’re not broken, you’re sensitive.

If some weeks you feel like you’re smashing life in God Mode and the next you’re crying on the kitchen floor, wondering what the hell happened, if your mood, focus, or motivation swing from one extreme to the next, and you’re left questioning your sanity... you are not crazy.

This week, we’re going back in time to the ADHD Untangled Live Event to talk about something that could change everything: your relationships, your energy, your health, your life.

We’re untangling hormones with the incredible Adele Wimsett, women’s health practitioner, hormone expert and fellow ADHDer. Adele is on a mission to help us understand the powerful link between hormones and ADHD, and trust me, after this chat, you’ll never roll your eyes at the word hormones again.

And guys, don’t skip this one. Hormones aren’t just a woman’s issue. They’re a human issue.

🧠 What we’re Untangling:

⚡️ How hormones really impact ADHD (and why we’ve been missing it)

🌙 Why your energy, mood and focus can swing so wildly

💬 The truth about PMS, perimenopause and progesterone

💞 How partners, friends and families can actually support us better

🥚 Why understanding your cycle could literally save your sanity

💫 Why listen:

Because this episode will help you stop fighting yourself and start working with your body. Whether you’re cycling, perimenopausal or supporting someone who is, this is essential listening. It’s the science, the stories and the stuff we all should’ve been taught years ago.

✨ If your brain moves faster than the world around you, if you’re tired of trying to fix yourself instead of understanding yourself, or if you just want to feel seen, understood, and a little less alone, you’re exactly where you’re meant to be.

Welcome back to Season 6 of the ADHD Untangled Podcast 🧡

In this first episode, Rosie swaps the host seat for the hot seat as her friend (and fellow Untangler) Shareefa takes the mic. Together, they talk openly about the messy, beautiful truth behind ADHD Untangled addiction, recovery, relationships, shame, and how movement became Rosie’s anchor when everything else fell apart.

It’s honest, funny, and full of those moments that make you feel seen.

🧠 What we’re Untangling:

✨ The chaos before diagnosis

💬 Shame, impulsivity and self-sabotage

🧘 Movement as medicine

❤️ ADHD & relationships

💡 Why sharing your story heals more than self-help ever could

💫 Why listen:

Because this episode is a reminder that you were never broken - you just needed to understand your brain and see yourself differently.

Hey Untanglers!

This week, I'm so excited to bring SUCH an important topic back to the podcast and one that is rarely talked about: missing periods and how ADHD and lifestyle choices might be playing a bigger role than you’d think...

Dr Sykes is an author, scientist, and expert when it comes to understanding hypothalamic amenorrhea (HA). Nicola’s mission, following her own struggle with HA, is to help people regain their periods, nourish their bodies, and ditch the stress-filled culture of over-exercising and under-eating.

We’ll talk about:

  • How ADHD’s intensity can fuel disordered eating and extreme behaviours
  • The link between HA, stress, and that sneaky cortisol…
  • Why “fueling your body” isn’t just a catchphrase - it’s the game changer you need.
  • Nicola’s practical tips for getting untangled and healthy again (hint: carbs are your friend
    ).
  • The emotional rollercoaster of recovery, self-acceptance, and… dating while healing.

This is a very raw and real episode for both me and Nicola as we share our personal struggles, as well as the laughs, revelations, and “a-ha!” moments we had throughout.

If you’ve ever felt lost in a sea of diet culture, or wondered if stress and ADHD are affecting your wellbeing, this episode might just be the missing piece which makes the full picture make sense… So listen in and let’s get untangled and show the world what we’re made of!

You can find out more about Dr Sykes work, including her book, support groups and consultations through her website.

In today's ADHD Rewind I'm re-Introducing our extraordinary guest, a figure I've eagerly awaited on this podcast since it began—a true hero in my eyes.

Ladies and gentlemen, please join us in welcoming the remarkable Professor James Brown!

Not only is Professor James Brown one of the esteemed hosts of the ADHD Adults podcast, but he also wears the hat of a charity owner and is the proud spouse of a previous ADHD Untangled guest, the incredible Mrs. ADHD.

With over two decades of dedicated research into the intricate world of hormones, James is a true authority on the subject. Given some recent personal challenges I've faced and the shared struggles of our friends and clients, it was imperative that we tapped into his wealth of knowledge. Engaging in a conversation about hormones was genuinely enlightening, and James's passion for the topic was evident throughout our discussion.

A profound revelation for me was discovering that hormones play a pivotal role in virtually every aspect of our lives. This episode offered me reassurance in understanding that the ebb and flow of emotions and experiences, whether throughout the month or our life journey, is perfectly normal. It's not merely us feeling like we're on an emotional rollercoaster; hormones are at the heart of this intricate process.

Get the tissues out as this episode is a tear jerker as James shares honestly and openly about his own struggles and strengths with ADHD, sharing his passion and determination for helping others through his podcast.

It was an absolute honour and pleasure to interview James and was extremely comforting to know that YES hormones affect every aspect of your life and solidifies the notion that it is OK not to feel OK sometimes!

I really hope that you enjoy this one and fall in love with the absolutely amazing Professor James Brown!

Is ADHD medication right for me?
Do I have to take it every single day?
Am I a failure if I decide to stop?

These are the questions so many of us quietly carry around — and in this episode, I sit down with Joseph Pack, founder of Drug Free ADHD, to bring them out into the open.

Together, we untangle:

🧡 The hidden risks of long-term medication — from sleep disruption to chronic illness.
🧡 The shame stories around starting, stopping, or changing meds (and why none of it means failure).
🧡 Heart rate variability (HRV) as a simple way to see how your body is really coping.
🧡 Why “one-size-fits-all” ADHD care is dangerous — and what a personalised approach can look like.
🧡 The power of lived experience over textbook answers — and why sometimes, you’ve just got to “make it exist first.”

This isn’t about being pro- or anti-medication. It’s about real talk, no judgement, and giving you the knowledge and permission to make informed choices that actually work for your life.

ADHD and yoga my two favourite subjects. And this week, I get to speak to one of my yoga heroes: Dianne Bondy social justice activist, author, accessible yoga teacher and founder of the Yoga For All movement.

Dianne is revolutionising yoga by making it genuinely inclusive and welcoming everyone, regardless of size, shape, background, or ability.

As a yoga teacher with ADHD, she shares how her practice helps manage ADHD symptoms, regulate her nervous system, and create moments of stillness in a fast-moving brain.

In this episode, we explore:

🧡 Yoga as a powerful tool for ADHD focus and emotional regulation

🧡 Leading and teaching with a neurodivergent brain

🧡 Designing inclusive wellness spaces where every body and mind belongs

This conversation couldn’t be more aligned with my own mission. It’s exactly why I created the ADHD Yoga Foundation Training to support teachers in breaking barriers and building spaces where ADHD and neurodivergent students feel seen, safe, and included.

Dianne’s story is a reminder that ADHD brains deserve tools that honour how we experience the world and yoga can be one of the most transformative of those tools.

From soldier to adventurer, TV personality to Army Cadet ambassador, Jordan Wylie MBE has spent his life turning pain into purpose. In this episode, we dive into the ADHD traits that have fuelled his relentless drive – and the moments they’ve almost broken him.

What we untangle:

  • How ADHD shows up in relationships and the patterns Jordan had to face
  • Work addiction, ambition, and the “can’t stop, won’t stop” brain
  • Unmasking, finding empathy, and learning to value peace over constant chasing
  • Why failure isn’t something to fear but the fuel for growth
  • The education system, the dangers of social media validation, and the reality for ADHD teens
  • Why the outdoors has become his therapy and his take on “green” and “blue” therapy
  • The fire round: the mask he’s ditched, when he feels most like himself, and whether he’d choose life with or without ADHD

If you’ve ever felt like you had to keep proving yourself, or you’re still figuring out how to slow down without losing who you are, this one is for you.

Left school with one GCSE.
Felt stupid for most of his life.
Nearly ended up in jail.
Now he’s a Royal Marine Commando, psychologist, author and doing a PhD on decision-making and belief systems.

This episode with Gareth Timmins isn’t about ticking boxes or fitting in.
It’s about what happens when you stop proving your worth to the world — and start building a life that actually fits you.

We Untangle...

  • ADHD without a diagnosis and what it felt like.
  • School, shame, and feeling like you were already failing before you even began
  • Masculinity, masking, and the pressure to be “the strong one”
  • The dark side of discipline — and what real self-trust looks like.
  • Rejection, RSD, and why feeling undervalued can flip your whole life.
  • Life after sport — chasing highs, losing identity, and starting again.

Why breaking down doesn’t mean you’re broken.

If you’ve ever walked away from something and called it failure this one’s for you.

“I’m not fragile. I’m not a failure. I just needed the right conditions to grow.”

What if the very thing you thought would end you became the reason you’re still here?

This episode reminded me of the original why behind this podcast.

ADHD Untangled was created to give hope. To empower. To prove that the very struggle that once made us feel broken can become our greatest strength. To reach the ones who are still in the middle of it — in the thick of addiction, shame, self-destruction — and remind them that it’s not too late. You are not too far gone.

In this powerful conversation, I sit down with writer, activist and adventurer Kit Birks just days before she sets off to walk the entire length of Europe solo. Her mission? To raise awareness around suicide, ADHD and the stories we’re told to keep silent about.

Kit shares her raw and honest story — from battling depression, eating disorders and addiction, to getting diagnosed with ADHD in recovery and finally realising she wasn’t broken, just misunderstood.

We explore the link between dopamine and destruction, how masking and emotional pain lead us into addiction, and how movement, nature and meaning can help us come back home to ourselves.

This one is deep, real and needed.

🧠 In this episode we cover:

  • ADHD, addiction and the missing dopamine piece
  • How emotional dysregulation, masking and shame fuel destructive behaviours
  • The life-changing power of diagnosis and self-compassion
  • The recovery process: messy, honest and ongoing
  • Using movement and nature to reconnect with yourself
  • Kit’s year-long solo walk across Europe for suicide prevention
  • The stories we carry and why we need to tell them

🎧 Listen if:

  • You’ve ever felt broken or like you didn’t belong
  • You’re navigating addiction, recovery or mental health struggles
  • You want to understand the real link between ADHD and self-destruction
  • You’re ready to hear a story of hope that doesn’t skip the hard parts

🎧 ADHD in sport | performance anxiety | RED-S | perfectionism | coaching ADHD athletes

What happens when you’re great at something… but still don’t believe you are?

This week on ADHD Untangled, I’m joined by the brilliant Dr. Josephine Perry — sports psychologist, author of ADHD and Sport: Strategies for Success, and someone who knows how to bring the science to life without making it dry or clinical.

In this real, down-to-earth chat, we untangle:

  • Why ADHD is so common in elite sport (and how many coaches still miss it)
  • The link between ADHD, perfectionism, and performance anxiety
  • What happens when our strengths (like hyperfocus and risk-taking) start to work against us
  • RED-S, eating disorders, and how ADHD brains can get trapped in overtraining and under-fuelling
  • Why punishment in sport (like taking away playtime or shouting at latecomers) doesn’t work for ADHDers
  • And how movement should never be the thing we’re punished withholding — it’s the very thing that helps us regulate and thrive.

We also get personal about our own experiences — from overexercising and obsessive routines to the relief that came from understanding our brains and finally choosing meaningful work.

Whether you’re a coach, athlete, parent or just someone trying to figure out how ADHD fits into your world — this one’s full of real talk, relatable stories, and practical ways to start doing things differently.

🎯 Coaches — if you want to support your ADHD athletes without burning them out... listen to this.
💥 Athletes — if you’re tired of being told to just “try harder” or “stop fidgeting”... this is for you.
🧠 ADHDers — if you’ve ever felt like you’re playing life in hard mode... welcome home.

Come as you are. And let’s get untangled.

Ever felt like you’ve spent your whole life pretending to be someone you’re not… without even realising it?

This one’s for you.

In today’s episode, we’re diving deep into the masks we wear – the people-pleaser, the overachiever, the chameleon, the ‘good girl’ or ‘good boy’ – all those roles we slip into without meaning to, just to feel safe, accepted, or "normal."

But unmasking? That’s a whole other story.

Together with Dr. Miguel (our go-to neuroscience and nervous system expert), we get real about the cost of masking, why unmasking isn’t a one-size-fits-all thing, and why it can feel so bloody exhausting trying to “just be yourself” when your nervous system doesn’t feel safe.

We explore:

  • The science behind masking, stress, and burnout
  • Why unmasking is less about big reveals and more about small, honest steps
  • The messiness of identity (and why it's OK to be in-between)
  • ADHD, intuition, and how your body always knows when you're faking it
  • And the wild parallels between coming out as neurodivergent and coming out as queer

PLUS: a hilarious (and painfully relatable) game of ‘Guess That Mask’ involving marathon medals, thank-you cards, and a very mysterious peach 🍑

Whether you're just starting to unmask or you're deep in it, this episode is your reminder: there’s no perfect way to be real. You don’t owe anyone a performance – just your presence.

Take an imperfect breath, let the dog off the leash, and come as you are.

And untangle ADHD with us

How many times have you been told to “calm down and take a breath” in the middle of an RSD meltdown?

If only it were that simple… or could it be?

This episode isn’t about some shiny new trend — it’s about breath. The one thing you carry with you every second of the day — and might just be the most powerful tool you’re not using.

I’m joined by Jamie Clements, breathwork coach, founder of The Breath Space, and quite honestly, one of the most authentic voices in the wellness world right now. What I love most about Jamie is that he’s not here to sell you perfection. He’s lived the struggle — from panic attacks and burnout to building a life (and business) rooted in purpose, self-connection and real, grounded service.

Together, we untangle:
🌀 Breathwork & ADHD — how simple practices can help with focus, burnout, anxiety, RSD, and that scattered, can’t-stop-won’t-stop feeling
📱 Phone addiction, dopamine, and why society is wired against our nervous systems
🧠 What it really means to live authentically — and how breath helps us come back to who we are
⚠️ Why wellness sometimes misses the mark — and how to do it your way, not the filtered version

If you’re struggling to show up as yourself, if your nervous system is in overdrive, or if meditation just isn’t your thing… then this one’s for you.

Just take an imperfect breath.
The kind that’s real, human, and enough.

🎧 Tune in. Breathe with us. And let’s get untangled 🧡

Game over. Done. Can’t feel awake even after a full night’s sleep?

If that sounds familiar, you’re not alone.

In this episode, I’m joined by the brilliant Dr. Miguel Mateas (yes, even on holiday) to untangle what ADHD burnout really looks like. Not the kind of burnout that goes away after a weekend lie-in - the deep kind that hits after weeks, months, maybe even years of pushing through when your brain’s been screaming for a break.

We talk masking, people-pleasing, emotional exhaustion and why so many of us keep missing the signs until it’s too late.

Here’s what we cover:

🧠 What ADHD Burnout Feels Like – That mental shutdown, task paralysis, and emotional numbness that hits when your system says enough.
🔬 What’s Actually Happening in the Brain – Miguel breaks down the science behind it. Low dopamine, nervous system stuck on high alert, and the cost of acting ‘normal’.
❤️ Real Recovery – Why “just rest” doesn’t cut it and how unmasking is part of the healing process.
🌱 Bouncing Forward – Not back to the person who pushed too hard, but into something more sustainable and true to you.
🧘‍♀️ Simple Tools That Help – No pressure, no perfection. Just small ways to regulate your system and find your way back to calm.

This one’s for anyone who’s burned out from trying to keep up — and blamed themselves for slowing down.

Hello Untanglers!

You know how it is, right? One minute you're fine, the next you're having a meltdown over… well, who even knows anymore?! 😂

Welcome back to another episode of Tangled In ADHD with the brilliant Dr. Miguel Mateas! In this episode, we're diving headfirst into the wild, wonderful and sometimes completely bonkers world of our Big Feelings and how they uniquely impact those of us with ADHD.

Dr. Miguel and I explore:

  • The Curse and the Gift: We discuss the double-edged sword of feeling everything so intensely, from powerful intuition to overwhelming emotional responses.
  • Fight, Flight, Freeze & Fawn: Understanding the various stress responses and how they manifest in our lives, especially the often-misunderstood "fawning" response.
  • RSD: More Than Just Rejection: We unpack Rejection Sensitive Dysphoria, exploring the physical pain it can cause and the science behind why it feels so intense.
  • The Body-Brain Connection: How our emotions manifest physically, leading to everything from procrastination to physical sensations of pain.
  • Moving Beyond the Mind: Practical strategies for coping with big feelings, including grounding techniques and moving beyond just trying to “think” our way out of emotional overwhelm.

This episode is all about ditching the shame, laughing at our own chaos and understanding that it’s okay (and actually powerful) to feel everything so intensely…

Let’s get untangled and show the world what we’re made of 🧡🖤

Hello Untanglers,

Talking to myself is nothing new... but even I was starting to get bored of my own voice on the solo episodes 😂

And seeing as one of my words for the year is collaborate, I knew exactly who I wanted to rope in first…

Enter: Dr. Miguel Mateas.

Creative neuroscientist.
And one of the only people I know who can give science some soul.

We’ve built a brilliant connection — fuelled by deep chats, honest laughs, WhatsApp check-ins, and like all good friendships, we first connected over food… specifically, a shared love (okay, borderline addiction) with dark chocolate.

And we’re kicking things off with: Food & Mood

If your relationship with food is a bit, shall we say, tangled, you're in the right place. We’re not talking about those rigid diet rules that ADHD brains just laugh at. Instead, Dr. Miguel and I are getting into the real stuff:

🧠 Why We Eat How We Eat: Our own tales of bingeing, restricting and that fun cycle of "I'll just eat Doritos for dinner" Sound familiar?

🔬 The Science Bit (But Make it Make Sense!): Dr. Miguel explains the gut-brain connection, why our mood can go haywire after certain foods and what’s really going on.

❤️ No More Shame! We’re all about ditching the guilt. It’s about understanding your body, not fighting it.

🍫 That Dark Chocolate Obsession: Yep, we go there.

🌱 Finding Your Own Framework: Because "one size fits all" is a myth, especially for us. We talk about listening to your body and finding what actually works, even if it’s having tofu with sriracha for a week straight (Miguel, I’m looking at you!).

🤯 Meds & Munchies: Ever put on weight on your meds when everyone else loses their appetite? We’ve both been there!

This isn’t about perfect eating; it’s about awareness, self-compassion and figuring out how to nourish ourselves - brain, gut and soul - without losing our minds. Dr. Miguel brings the science, I bring the chaos and together we’re untangling it all.

🎧 Tune in for our first ever episode!

Let’s get untangled and show the world what we’re made of 🧡🖤

In this episode, we're getting real about the messy ‘chaos’ of navigating ADHD, hormones, motherhood and the relentless pressure of hustle culture. Ever been so emotionally dysregulated you’ve said something you didn’t mean — or worse, made an impulsive decision you instantly regretted?

If you’ve got ADHD, then of course you have. We know the drill.

But imagine that decision being broadcast live on TV… to the world.

Well, that’s exactly what happened to today’s guest.

Back by popular demand (and because I could chat to him for hours) — it’s round two with:

  • 8x Muay Thai World Champion
  • One of the most sought-after coaches on the planet
  • And the only man I know who can swallow 30 supplements in one mouthful without blinking

The legend himself — Liam Harrison — joins me for another raw and real chat about ADHD, setbacks and staying in the ring, both literally and metaphorically.

We talk about the split-second decision to retire after a loss… and the crash that followed.

Was it impulsivity? RSD? A fight-or-flight reaction wrapped in adrenaline? Probably all of the above. But what I love most is Liam’s honesty — the regret, the reflection, and the resilience to say: “Nah, I’m not done yet.”

We untangled:

  • How overtraining and burnout can sneak in under the mask of hyperfocus
  • Why routine is everything for ADHDers — and how losing it can unravel us fast
  • The chaos that can follow injury or retirement when movement has been your main dopamine fix
  • What schools still get wrong about ADHD — and why celebrating talent outside the box is so crucial
  • The importance of spotting emotional dysregulation in young athletes

This episode is more than just a conversation about ADHD and sport.

It’s about extreme behaviour.

It’s about what happens when your whole identity is wrapped up in one thing… and that thing suddenly disappears.

It’s about resilience, rage, and rewiring.

And it’s about how just one person who gets it — a coach, a teacher, a partner — can change the entire direction of your life.

Liam’s story isn’t just about fighting in the ring. It’s about fighting to stay grounded, regulated, and connected — even when the ADHD brain wants to burn it all down.

Want to learn more from Liam? Liam isn’t just a guest on the podcast — he’s part of our speaker line-up inside the Certified ADHD-Informed Coach Training.

Some of us don’t stumble across ready-made communities.

Some of us have to build them - and today’s guest knows a thing or two about that.

Today I am joined by the one and only Alexis Lee – Founder of Style Me Sunday, author of 'Feeling Myself', community leader (Black Enough, Healing Myself), psychotherapist in training and apparently, the only person who could get me talking about sex without wanting to crawl under the table.

We dive into it all — the stuff nobody taught us growing up.
From convent school guilt, to figuring out what love really means later in life, to how shutting down the sex chat only fuels more shame.
We also get into how ADHD messes with body image, self-esteem, intimacy... and basically, how it all ties back to connection and community.

From setting up a spontaneous fishing community (yep, you read that right) to navigating the chaos of daily life, Alexis shares her honest take on what it actually means to live authentically.

🧡 ADHD, sex, shame and why it’s so tangled up in how we see ourselves

🧡 Building your own community when none of the ones out there feel right

🧡 Dissociation, energy crashes and the bits of ADHD nobody claps for

🧡 Breaking free from rigid rules and finding your own rhythm

🧡 How the sea - and a good rant - can do wonders for your soul

This episode is for anyone who’s tired of trying to fit a mould that was never made for them, who’s craving real connection and who’s ready to own their messy, beautiful story. 🧡

Do you have a graveyard of unfinished projects? A closet full of abandoned hobbies? If so, you're in the right place

In this episode, we're untangling the idea of being a "professional quitter" especially within the ADHD community. Many of us carry a narrative of shame around quitting, impacting our confidence and future goals. But what if we could reframe quitting as a strength?

Join me as I explore why those with ADHD often find quitting easy, delving into the role of dopamine, our interest-based nervous system and executive function challenges. I'll share my own experiences with quitting, from abandoned baby massage dolls to nine jobs in ten years…

We'll unpack:

🧠 Why our dopamine-driven brains crave novelty and new experiences.

🧐 How overwhelm and executive function issues like goal prioritization contribute to quitting.

💔 The impact of societal views and shame on our self-esteem and confidence.

✨ How perfectionism and masking can lead us to quit even when we're on the path to success.

💡 And most importantly — how to shift our mindset, understand when to stick and when to quit, and embrace quitting as a tool for a more fulfilling life.

I'll share coaching questions to help you determine if you're quitting out of fear or intuition, and we'll explore strategies like practicing quitting and building evidence that it's not always a bad thing!

Let’s stop seeing quitting as a weakness and start recognising it as a unique strength.

Ever felt like your brain just can’t stop – or won’t stop?

Ideas, overthinking, random thoughts and that constant inner monologue that never shuts up – some might call it the ADHD chatter.

If you know, you know.

And let’s be honest, it can leave you wondering if there’s something wrong with you.

Well today's guest will tell you that you are not alone. And you are definitely not broken.

In this episode, I sit down with Alex Partridge – founder of Unilad and host of the ADHD Chatter Podcast – for an honest conversation about what it’s really like living with ADHD. No pretending. Just the chaos, the truth and what it actually feels like.

Alex doesn’t just talk the talk. From building viral empires to wrestling with the reality of an ADHD diagnosis later in life, he’s lived it. And now, he’s using his voice to shift the way we think about neurodiversity – one real conversation at a time.

Here’s what we Untangle in this episode:

🧠 Object permanence – what it is, and how it messes with your day-to-day (and how to work with it)
🔥 The so-called ‘traits’ of ADHD – like impulsivity and hyperfocus – and why they’re not weaknesses
💬 Ditching the labels and learning to rewrite your story
💪 Finding your values, dropping the act, and choosing a life that feels right for you

How undiagnosed ADHD showed up for him during a very public and extremely stressful legal battle worth millions – and why winning it didn’t bring the happiness he thought it would.

🌍 Why the world isn’t built for different thinkers – and why that needs to change

This one’s for anyone who’s ever felt misunderstood, mislabelled or like they don’t quite fit the mould.

Alex’s story is full of truth, courage, and VERY relatable!

Have you noticed a pattern of extremes in your life? All in or all out, never just 'enough'?

In this episode of our "Tangled In..." mini-series, I'm diving deep into the experience of ‘Chasing Highs’ that I know so many of us can relate to. I'm exploring my own experiences with restlessness, the pursuit of ‘more’ and that feeling of never being truly satisfied…

Why do I and so many others with ADHD, often experience an intense need to chase highs? I'll break down the science behind this, including the role of dopamine, executive function challenges like working memory and time blindness, and the impact of self-belief and societal pressures.

I’ll walk you through how this shows up in my own life, from the subtle to the messy. And we’ll explore:

✨ Why dopamine plays such a huge role in our constant search for stimulation
🧠 What time blindness, impulsivity, and working memory have to do with it
💔 How this chase can show up in our relationships, habits, or even addiction
🔎 How self-belief (or lack of it) feeds into the cycle of always needing more 💡 And most importantly — what we can do about it

I’ll also share a simple coaching tool called the “HIGH” framework to help you recognise when you're chasing something that’s not serving you — and how to shift that energy into something more aligned.

Let’s stop hating ourselves for being “too much” — and start understanding the why behind our patterns.

🎧 Listen now and let me know what you'd love for me to cover next!

Money, Money, Money it ain't funny in an ADHDer’s world….

Unpaid parking fines, a pile of unreturned items, impulse spending, forgotten bills—don’t even get me started on tax returns—and food that’s gone off before you’ve even thought about eating it. Throw in some last-minute panic gift-buying to make up for feeling like a terrible friend, and you’ve got the ADHD money spiral in full swing.

So today, we’re ripping off the band-aid and facing it head-on with Clare Seal, a certified financial coach who gets it. Clare has ADHD herself and knows exactly what it’s like to struggle with money. She found herself in £27,000 of debt and anonymously shared her journey of getting out of it through her Instagram page My Frugal Year. Since then, she’s made it her mission to remove the shame around money and help people like us build financial systems that actually work with our ADHD brains.

In this episode, we cover:

🔶 The ADHD tax – how much ADHD really costs us 💰
🔶 Spending & self-worth – why we impulse-buy (and how to stop) 🛍️
🔶 People-pleasing & money – the hidden cost of trying to be ‘a good friend’ 🎁
🔶 Financial burnout – how ADHDers end up stuck in a cycle of overspending & overworking 🔥
🔶 Money systems that work – ADHD-friendly ways to budget, save & feel more in control 📊
🔶 Why finances are self-care – shifting the mindset from fear to financial peace 🧘‍♀️

Clare breaks it all down with honesty and practicality—no shame, no jargon, just real talk about money, ADHD, and how we can move towards financial peace.

Take a deep breath—you’re not alone in this. Let’s get untangled and show the world what we’re made of.

Ever told yourself you can’t?

You can’t focus.
You can’t achieve anything because you’re inconsistent.
You can’t stick with things—you always quit.
You can’t be trusted because you’re too forgetful.
You can’t chase that dream.
You can’t find that love.
You can’t go to that yoga class.
You can’t climb that mountain.

Sound familiar?

Living with ADHD, we’re constantly told what we can’t do—by the world and by ourselves. But what about what we can do because of our differences?

Today, we're joined by the incredible Fiona Callanan—aka The Bionic Rocket Woman. By day, she’s a high-flying international lawyer. By passion, she’s a yoga teacher on a mission to make movement accessible to all.

She proves that the only real limitation we have is the one in our minds.

After surviving the 2004 Boxing Day tsunami and losing her leg, Fiona didn’t let that define her—she redefined herself. Yoga transformed her view of disability into strength, and now she’s on a mission to make movement accessible to everyone. 🌟

In this episode, we dive into:

🧘‍♀️ How yoga helped Fiona embrace her body in a whole new way
💪 Why resilience is built through curiosity, not just grit
🚀 The power of saying yes—but also knowing when to say no
🌎 Why movement is for everybody (even if you think it’s not for you)

So, ready to break through your own limitations? Fiona’s here to show you how to unlock your strength and freedom, no matter where you're starting from.

🎧 Listen now!

Let’s get untangled and show the world what we’re made of!

Hey Untanglers!

Rejection Rejection Rejection no one likes… but if you have ADHD rejection hurts a whole lot more and not even real rejection, perceived rejection can knock us down like a ton of bricks.

It's that time of year where the world tells us to celebrate LOVE! I think we should celebrate love everyday and I don't mean with gifts, I mean just try our best to lead with love wherever we love for others and love for ourselves. Now loving oneself, especially when you have ADHD, can feel impossible. Let's face it we have spent our whole lives hating ourselves. The day of Love can be a mixed bag for us ADHDers, especially when Rejection Sensitive Dysphoria (RSD) is part of the picture. The pressure of romantic expectations, the fear of rejection, and the desire to feel truly understood can make this celebration uniquely challenging.

In this heartfelt episode, we’re joined by some of our favorite past guests to explore the intersections of ADHD, RSD, and relationships.

Together, we’ll discuss:

❤️ How ADHD impacts intimacy, communication, and love languages
💔 The experience of RSD in romantic contexts and how to reframe rejection
🌹 Practical strategies to create meaningful connections

Featuring powerful stories and expert advice from Mrs ADHD, Shareefa J, Dr Ned Halliwell, Helen Anderson and Professor James Brown, this conversation is here to remind you that love—including self-love—doesn’t have to be perfect to be real.

Whether you're in a relationship, navigating the dating world, or celebrating solo, this episode offers insights, empathy, and actionable tips to help you embrace love in all its forms.

Let’s get untangled and show the world what we’re made of!

"I eat meat, I drink wine and I love having sex with my husband… and yes I'm a yoga teacher"
If you think yoga teachers are all calm, collected, and have their shit together, think again. This episode of ADHD Untangled is about to give you a real insight into what life can look like behind the mat.

I’m chatting with the incredible Zephyr Wildman—a yoga teacher who’s as authentic and inspiring as they come. Zephyr opens up about her ADHD, growing up in a hippie commune, and the deeply personal story of her first husband, a touring musician who struggled with addiction. She shares how his passing shifted her perspective on life and how all of these experiences shaped her teaching.

Zephyr’s story is a beautiful reminder that being a yoga teacher—or just being human—isn’t about being perfect. It’s about embracing your messy, brilliant self. We talk about how ADHD and dyslexia have influenced her life and teaching, the challenges of staying authentic, and the power of kindness—to yourself and to others.

This episode is full of honesty, love, and some hard truths about what it really means to live a life that’s true to you. You’re going to love it. Let’s get untangled and show the world what we’re made of!

You can find out more about Zephyr's Yoga & meditation classes here.

Hey Untanglers!

Raise your hand if you're burned out???? 🙋‍♀️ Yep, it’s that time of year again. As ADHDers, burnout isn’t exactly new to us—but let’s be honest, the end-of-year pressure can hit HARD. Social gatherings piling up, family expectations weighing us down, and that nagging feeling that we need to have everything wrapped up before the holidays? It’s a recipe for exhaustion. And when we’re running on empty, our ADHD impulsivity loves to take the wheel.

But all jokes aside, because burnout isn’t just an inconvenience—it’s serious. It can take a real toll on our health and well-being. That’s why, this week, We are revisiting a powerful conversation with one of my personal mentors and ADHD coach trainers: Cathy Rashidian.

Cathy is no ordinary coach—she’s a total powerhouse. With a laundry list of credentials, including PCC certification through the International Coach Federation (ICF), PAAC credentials, and advanced ADHD training from ADDCA, she’s the real deal. She’s also a lead trainer at ADDCA and the host of the Proudly ADHD podcast.

But Cathy’s impact isn’t just about her professional accolades—it’s her life experience that makes her truly inspiring. In our chat, she opens up about living with ADHD, how her diagnosis reshaped her life, and the wake-up call that changed everything: being diagnosed with blood cancer at just 35.

Here are a few gems she shared:

  • “I took life for granted the first 35 years, but my diagnosis shook me to my core. It made me ask: how do I want to show up for the next 20 years?”
  • “It’s never too late. Wherever you are, take back the steering wheel.”
  • “I don’t want to build this castle of success and find all the rooms empty.”
  • “We can’t keep up being a professional, a mum, a wife, and everything else without breaking down.”

Cathy’s raw honesty, strength, and mission to help others show up as their authentic selves blew me away. Having her on the podcast was such a blessing, and I know you’re going to love this conversation as much as I did.

So, what are you waiting for?

Hey Untanglers!

This week we are Untangling a REALLY important topic HORMONES & ADHD!!!

A sentence I’m sick of hearing is, ‘You can’t blame everything on your hormones.’ The more I learn from experts like Dr Kampers, Professor James Brown, Nikola Sykes, and today’s incredible guest, Adele Wimsett, the more I realise hormones are responsible for EVERYTHING. If you have ADHD, they can exacerbate symptoms to the point of complete and utter despair.

We are joined by the amazing and hugely passionate Adele Wimsett, a women's health practitioner specialising in hormones. Through her business, Harmonise You, Adele empowers people to balance their hormones through education, clinics, and one-to-one sessions.

As a late-diagnosed ADHDer, Adele has a particular passion for supporting others with ADHD. She founded ADHDivers, a clinic designed specifically for women with ADHD, helping them understand how their hormones impact their traits.

We will uncover the truth behind the connection between hormones and ADHD.
Join us as we untangle:

  • How hormones can wreak havoc on our ADHD
  • Women being gaslit by GPs
  • The hormone hierarchy
  • Perimenopause
  • Menopause
  • How we can overcome the struggles we face with hormones and ADHD

Adele describes ADHD in one word as ‘curiosity’, and today’s episode is definitely for those of us who are curious to learn more about hormones and their relationship with ADHD.

What are you waiting for?

Hey Untanglers!

After losing my menstrual cycle for over two years whilst being gaslighted and left in the dark by medical professionals; I am so excited to be bringing SUCH an important topic to the podcast this week and one that many people but is rarely talked about: missing periods and how ADHD and lifestyle choices might be playing a bigger role than you’d think.

Our expert to guide us through this complex topic is the incredible Dr. Nicola Sykes!

  • Nicola’s practical tips for getting untangled and healthy again (hint: carbs are your friend 🍝).

Hey Untanglers!

This week, we’re thrilled to welcome the amazing Dr. Wayne Kampers! With over 25 years of experience as a psychiatrist, including his time at the Nightingale Hospital, Dr. Kampers has diagnosed hundreds of adults with ADHD. But here’s what makes him stand out—he doesn’t just dish out the meds and move on. Dr. Kampers takes a truly holistic approach, incorporating mindfulness, breathwork, nutrition, and even genetics to help his patients untangle their ADHD lives.

In this episode we discuss:

✨ Why untreated ADHD can cause chaos (and heartbreak)

✨ The surprising links between serotonin, dopamine, and ADHD

✨ What the hell is the MTHFR gene and why it’s so important

✨ How small daily habits, like breathing exercises, can change EVERYTHING

Dr Kampers shares his practical advice for managing ADHD and finding balance, plus his take on why ADHD brains are full of ‘unbridled potential’ (his words, and I LOVE IT). Whether you're curious about medication, genetics, or just want tips to feel more in control of your day, this episode is packed with unmissable insights.

Let's get Untangled and show the world what we are made of!

Hello Untanglers!

Today’s episode is all about Meditation DO NOT RUN AWAY! I know meditation can sound like hell for us ADHDers. I felt the same when I first started HOWEVER did you know meditation does not have to mean sitting still and not thinking… NO NO NO!

Meditation can actually be FUN! And comes in many different forms and, like everything we promote here at ADHD untangled, in order to discover a consistent meditation practice you have to find what feels authentic to you!

So today's episode we are joined by expert Pearl Lopian, the master of EFT (aka Emotional Freedom Techniques) who has guided over 7,000 people through transformative tapping sessions.

EFT is amazing for ADHDers because you can move and even talk while you meditate. It’s an active, rhythmic, and ADHD-friendly technique which Pearl explains can release emotions, ease trauma, and help manage our ADHD tendencies like impulsivity and overwhelm. This is real, instant, DIY relief!

You’ll learn how tapping isn’t just therapy - it’s like emotional WD-40 for your brain, loosening the hold of limiting beliefs and reframing those pesky recurring negative thoughts. And the best part? You can start tapping on your own or go deeper with a trained guide like Pearl.

Tapping has much wider applications too, as Pearl reveals the mind-blowing practice of surrogate tapping, where parents tap for their ADHD children and have witnessed real change.

This is a healing technique every ADHDer needs to know… So tap into this episode and let’s get untangled and show the world what we’re made of!

You can find out more about Pearl and her EFT sessions through her website here.

Welcome back to Season 4 Untanglers! 🎉

I’m so happy to be talking with you again… it’s been a VERY busy few months and I’m super excited to share with you the stories of some amazing guests in the ADHD & wellness communities in this new look season! Since the end of the last season we’ve done so much...

The highlight was getting to spend time with the inspiring group of ADHDers riding with Team Untangled from London to Amsterdam, who not only faced the challenge of covering 180 miles, but also raised a staggering £15,000 for ADHD charities!

I’ve also launched the ADHD Movement Group Coaching programme - a new addition to Untangled that takes a holistic approach to ADHD coaching by incorporating movement, meditation, community and KNOWLEDGE. I’ll be speaking more about how this approach is already helping my brilliant clients in this first episode.

Later this month I’m also starting the first ever training for yoga teachers with ADHD. The ADHD Movement Academy combines my passions for coaching and yoga to bring my mission of inclusivity to the wellness industry! I’ve already started taking action and recently delivered a lecture at the OM yoga show where none other than Dr Ned Hallowell himself paid me a visit!

This exciting new venture will also feature in the Untangled podcast as I chat with some amazing guests from the wellness industry - as well as hearing inspiring client stories and learning new knowledge from ADHD experts.

So join me for a season of chats on love, wellness, creativity and, as always, embracing ourselves! Can’t wait for you to hear it, get untangled, and show the world what you’re made of!

Hey Untanglers!

This week I’m looking back to my revealing chat with the amazing Sarah Templeton! Sarah is one of the most passionate ADHD advocates I have ever met and she's on a serious mission to shake up what we know about ADHD, especially in prisons.

Sarah shares some jaw-dropping stats, including up to 90% of people in prison might have ADHD! Let that sink in…

But here’s the epic part: Sarah’s working tirelessly to turn so many lives around in huge ways, with some of her clients going from prison to becoming lawyers, footballers, and chefs. Oh, and did I mention she’s authored super helpful books for parents and teachers as well as launched the ADHD Liberty charity too.

Sarah is true inspiration for the community and is here to empower us all to show up and fight for ourselves and others. So take a listen, get Untangled and show the world what you’re made of!

We've had lots of incredible guests - athletes, wellness coaches, entrepreneurs, and creatives - all sharing their unique ADHD journeys. What do their stories all have in common? The power of embracing their authentic selves and transforming their struggles into strengths. It's been inspiring to see people who are not just surviving with ADHD, but thriving and shining SO brightly.

The first half of this year has been super busy for me! I’ve been on some amazing trips & retreats, I’ve moved into a new home on a street I love next to my favourite park, I’ve given up vaping, secured a shared care plan, and I’ve grown my business by hosting some incredible events, important corporate workshops and expanding my coaching offerings.**

**BUT this journey is full of ups and downs… as a can’t stop, won’t stop ADHDer, burnout and stress can always creep back into my life. Some days are hard. However I now know that those days will pass and pass quickly with the tools I’ve learnt to use to live with my ADHD. Learning to live with ADHD is about understanding that this is YOUR ADHD, YOUR brain, YOUR emotions, YOUR life.. we are in the driver's seat, we can show up for ourselves and we will unleash those ADHD strengths.

Thank you so so much for being a part of this incredible community - I can’t wait to be back for Season 4! Here’s to empowering our ADHD journeys and living our most authentic lives…

So let’s celebrate this amazing journey and, for the last time this season, let’s get untangled and show the world what we’re made of!**

Hello Untanglers,

Welcome back to another episode of ADHD Untangled, and guess what? We are finally doing it. We are bringing my two worlds together and talking about all things mindful movement and the impact that can have on our ADHD.

Who else to open up this conversation with than international yoga sensation @adellbridges, who is also diagnosed with ADHD....

I'm SO excited to be sharing this chat with the incredible Adell Bridges. She's not just any yogi – she's a globe-trotting yoga teacher, health coach, and author who kicked off her journey in Mississippi, made her way to the UK, after a bit of aimless wandering, stumbled into the life-changing world of yoga.

Today, we're exploring the yoga-meets-ADHD vibe by sharing our personal stories on how yoga turned out to be one of the most life-changing gifts in managing the ADHD rollercoaster. We shine a light on the ADHD tendency to jump from interest to interest, not as a flaw, but as a path to finding a passion that truly resonates, as teaching yoga does for us.

Hearing Adell's story will be eye-opening for anyone trying to find a bit of calm in the ADHD storm.

So, ditch the chaos for a bit, grab your yoga mat, and let's get ADHD Untangled and show the world what we are made of!

Hello Untanglers, this week we have a guest whom I have admired from afar for a long time, the remarkable Hana Walker-Brown, a multi-award-winning documentary audio documentary and podcast creator, composer and author, who joined me to untangle the complexities of ADHD and the raw power of storytelling.

This episode deep dives into the struggles and strengths of living as what I like to call a ‘Can’t Stop Won’t Stop’ ADHDer. Hana openly and wholeheartedly shares the story of her recent struggle with burnout, a turning point in her life that transformed her relationship with work and identity.

Throughout this episode, Hana and I share the intimate struggles of living with that strong desire and need to achieve that is often embodied by many individuals with ADHD and how embracing our neurodiversity is not just about managing symptoms but unlocking our true creative potential.

We discuss how peeling away the layers of our professional selves can support us in uncovering the core of our being, revealing that sometimes, the bravest thing we can do is retreat and recharge. We cover addictive behaviours celebrated by society, self-worth, and the art of storytelling whilst celebrating the strength that comes from authenticity and the importance of community.

Listen as we unfold the transformative power of allowing ourselves to flow with creativity and the courage it takes to seek support and be vulnerable in the face of mental exhaustion. Hannah embodies resilience, authenticity, kindness and creativity, and this heart-to-heart is a celebration of finding strength in vulnerability and the significance of connections that lift us higher.

So what are you waiting for? Let’s get Untangled and show the world what we are made of!

In this new episode, I speak to the wonderful human that is James Shaw - pilates instructor and educator. James works at some amazing studios and gyms across London and is a master of all things pilates. As many of you know I LOVE pilates and I was excited to bring this topic on to the podcast. After years of teaching yoga andpilates, I can now look back and see where ADHD showed up for me as both a struggle and a strength.

In this chat, James and I discuss the importance of embodying movement and our need to continually seek knowledge to learn more about our amazing bodies and brains.

James believes his ADHD is what gives him his edge and enables him to be creative and innovative in his teaching methods. Using self-awareness and mindset shifts, James is thriving in his work and reframing his ADHD as a POSITIVE, finding mental clarity through teaching, which allows him to be fully present and engaged (a hard one for us ADHDers!).

During our conversation, we dive into the significance of personal milestones such as sobriety and the deep impact it has on productivity and well-being. We also touch on setting boundaries, time management, the importance of balance and the dreaded imposter syndrome!

This chat left my heart so full because James is a kind, creative and truly authentic person. For the pilates lovers out there you will love the deep dive into James’s world and if you are struggling right now, this conversation will empower you when it comes to living with your ADHD.

So what are you waiting for? Let's get untangled and show the world what we are made of.

She is back! Laura Mears-Reynolds (as most of you will know from the amazing ADHDAF) is back to chat with me, one year after being one of my VERY FIRST podcast guests. This time around, updating us on her rebranded mission and sharing her personal story.

So what's happened in the last twelve months? A LOT!! This time we chatter on ADHDAF and going solo, reflect on life and self-evaluation, relentless energy and the limitless possibilities of ADHD! Laura is SO inspiring and I loved this conversation exploring the struggles and strengths of living with ADHD.

We touch on our ‘can’t stop - won’t stop’ ADHD tendencies that can come to the surface when finding what it is you’re passionate about, justice sensitivity, rejection sensitivity dysphoria and the importance of having such a supportive community and tribe!

And I even tried to recruit Laura to join me on my ADHD charity challenge!

Meet the man who has achieved 8 world titles and boasts a record of 91 wins and 51 KOs Liam has held the number 1 spot in the UK rankings since the age of 17 and is widely regarded as the best Muay Thai fighter to ever emerge from the UK.

Join me for an inspiring conversation as Liam unravels his journey with ADHD, filled with struggles and strengths, and how he thrives with ADHD in the sports industry. We explore the unique challenges and triumphs faced by athletes with ADHD.
And guess what? Athletes with ADHD also struggle with RSD (Rejection Sensitivity Dysphoria).

We delve into topics such as navigating school with undiagnosed ADHD, using negative reinforcement as a source of motivation, and how Liam overcomes his setbacks. We emphasise the need for greater ADHD awareness in the sporting world, as it can help prevent burnout and maintain a balance between intense training and personal lives. In particular, we highlight the importance of support, especially from coaches and teachers, and how it can impact an athlete's journey. Plus, we discuss how finding a supportive partner who understands ADHD can make all the difference.

For anyone struggling with a late diagnosis, Liam's advice is invaluable in empowering our community. When we embrace our passions and strengths, we can achieve greatness despite the challenges we may face with our ADHD.

Hi Untanglers…

It’s the last episode in the series and the last episode of 2024 and what a ride it has been!

I launched this podcast back in January after a light bulb moment and I cannot believe I am wrapping up the second season!

In less than twelve months the ADHD Untangled podcast has

  • Reached 70 countries 🎧
  • Had amazing guests from all over the world 🌍
  • And made a dream come true, chatting with last week's guest - the man who inspired the meaning behind this business, Dr Ned Hallowell 🧡

In this episode, I talk openly about my personal journey this year, which has probably been one of the hardest in many ways. My ADHD has fully shown up and I really did have to turn my struggles into strengths! I moved house (4 times!) had five jobs, ran two retreats in Europe, overcame health problems, started taking ADHD medication and said yes to way too much!

But, it has also been the year that my dreams have come true I am now an accredited ADHD Coach, I have met some of the most incredible people through this podcast and the ADHD community, launched a new niche and I am now starting to write again and create some exciting projects for the future of this business (watch this space!) I have created a business that allows me to live with meaning, freedom and most of all I get to spend my days doing what I have always wanted to do - help others discover their strength.

I am super excited for 2024. Season 3 of the ADHD Untangled podcast will be kicking off in January and I have lots more exciting updates to share with you very soon!

I hope that this podcast has given you the hope and confidence to step into your power and show up in the world the way you were always meant to.

Thank you for joining me on the journey so fr to becoming ADHD Untangled...I am so grateful to you all!

Welcome to the final guest episode of Season 2 and it’s a BIG one!

IT'S FINALLY HAPPENED…my dream has come true! This episode is where I meet my hero (and dream dinner guest) the ONE and ONLY Dr Ned Hallowell.

For those of you who have been listening to the podcast for a while, you will have heard me reference Ned MANY times - I was beyond ecstatic (and in complete shock) when he agreed to come on the podcast and chat with me.

Dr Hallowell is a huge inspiration for me personally and is the reason why I started the ADHD Untangled podcast. The way I coach my clients and the mission of ADHD Untangled are all linked to Ned’s way of thinking and his strength-based approach to inspiring and supporting people with ADHD.

Dr Hallowell is a board-certified child and adult psychiatrist and world authority on ADHD. He is a graduate of Harvard College and Tulane Medical School and was a Harvard Medical School faculty member for 21 years. He is the Founder of The Hallowell ADHD Centers in Boston MetroWest, New York City, San Francisco, Palo Alto, and Seattle.

Not only has Dr Hallowell spent the past four decades helping thousands of adults and children live happy and productive lives has ADHD and dyslexia himself - he is also a New York Times bestselling author and has written 24 books on multiple psychological topics. Dr Ned Hallowell’s books have shown me that my ADHD is an asset and has changed my life and countless others.

I hope this episode inspires you to step forward into this world with confidence in who you are and let go of who you are not - always remember you are enough!

Leanne Maskell, a former lawyer turned ADHD Entrepreneur, is doing some seriously AMAZING work in our community.

It's no secret that, due to struggling for many years in the workplace with undiagnosed ADHD, I am a passionate advocate for supporting my clients in this area and also for those running their own businesses with ADHD. Alongside my dream for the world to see neurodiverse employees as assets when given the freedom and support to thrive in their businesses.

So, after observing Leanne from afar since my ADHD diagnosis, I was extremely excited to finally meet her and have her as a guest on the ADHD Untangled podcast.

And she did not disappoint...

We covered the following topics:

  • UNTREATED ADHD & MENTAL HEALTH: Leanne shares an open and authentic story of her struggles leading up to her own diagnosis, highlighting the seriousness of untreated ADHD in relation to our mental health.
  • ADHD & ENTREPRENEURSHIP: 'You cannot be what you cannot see.' Leanne's insightful advice on what it's really like to be an entrepreneur with ADHD provides evidence that, despite the struggles that come with bringing your dreams to life, with the right mindset and support, we are more than capable of succeeding.
  • ADHD & PERFECTIONISM: I often see the biggest barrier that holds ADHDers back when it comes to doing more meaningful work is our fear of failure and our often painful need for perfectionism. I took so much comfort during this episode after hearing someone as successful as Leanne reference some publicly perceived 'failure/mistakes' she experienced in her early days of launching her first book, ADHD A-Z, and starting her business, ADHD Works. This reinforced my belief that failure is indeed not fatal.
  • ADHD & COACHING: A passionate advocate for ADHD Coaching, Leanne shares how having an ADHD Coach has been integral to the success she has had within her business.
  • ADHD & THE WORKPLACE: Leanne is out there doing the groundwork for changing the way companies see their neurodiverse employees, providing training to companies such as Microsoft and Disney. She gives us some insight into the changes we are seeing and where the gaps are.

**I learned so much from Leanne during this episode, and it was a great reminder that being brave enough to step forward with imperfect action is a sure way to overcome fear and is a powerful mindset that encourages progress, growth, and success."

Meet Linda Roggli, ADHD Women’s Only Coaching Legend….Linda is a Professional Certified Coach (PCC), award-winning author and founder of the A-D-Diva Network for ADHD women 40-and-better. She is an internationally-recognized expert in midlife and senior ADHD.

In this episode we cover all things ADHD and late diagnosis in Women….and delve deep into the connection to hormonal changes and ADHD symptoms.

Linda has been out there shouting about and supporting women with ADHD for almost 20 years , well before the world started to recognise it. So she has A LOT of knowledge and experience on these topics.

Linda has an infectious energy and just like me can see that once treated, ADHD is something we no longer have to be ashamed of and can very much be embraced as an asset despite the challenges it brings.

I took a lot of inspiration away from this chat with Linda, more evidence that following what is meaningful to us is where we really see ADHDers shine, Hormones changes for ADHD women can be more intense and extreme than those without, treatment for your hormones, mental health and hormones fluctuations is unique for everyone and most importantly this conversation reminded me that it's our differences that really give us that spark and to hide that from the world would be a real disservice.

Linda A-D-Diva energy was infectious, this episode will not only educate and support you, it will completely inspire and motivate you to keep stepping forward with self belief that you have got this!!!

Introducing our extraordinary guest, a figure I've eagerly awaited on this podcast since it began—a true hero in my eyes.

Whats the quickest way to kill the soul of an ADHDer??

Make them do work that is meaningless.....

It has been reported that adults with ADHD are around 60% more likely to be fired, 30% more likely to have ongoing/chronic employment issues, and 3 times more likely to quit on impulse. This can cause anxiety around employment stability, and when changing jobs frequently this can have a knock-on effect on confidence and quality of life.

WELCOME UNTANGLERS….

Owner and Founder of Coaching with Brooke a team of coaches that supports adults & students with ADHD.
Brooke Schnittman MA, PCC, BCC

This episode is another story that proves how ADHD can really become our strength once we understand how it's showing up for us.

Brooke was supporting students with ADHD well before she discovered she also in fact had combined ADHD in 2019.

Brooke's choice of ADHD treatment has been very similar to my own. She was already being coached, using wellness tools and therefore had a lot of structures in place before she went on to also add medication into the mix.

This really continues to support the idea that ADHD being so complex & vast in how it shows up for us, that it really is no surprise that we often need a variety of treatment to help us truly thrive.

What I found SO useful about Brooke's episode is the tools & advice she shares on how to run a successful business with our ADHD brain.

As this is a journey I am currently very much in the midst of.

I am learning each and every day that when we do have this incredible freedom to start doing more meaningful work, it does mean having to completely re-look at our ADHD and put structures in place that can support us in this new environment.

With that said if you are in the UK do not forget to sign up for my FREE access to work coaching group which takes place on the 14th August to give you a little insight into what support you can get to help you work with your ADHD in the workplace.

So today we go into some science…..

As some of you will be aware I have been using an amazing app Zing Performance which is an app created to train your brain and in particular our cerebellum.

The cerebellum is our skill centre and it came to my awareness through my favourite ADHD book by Dr Ned Hallowell ( ADHD 2.0) that an ADHD brain has an underdeveloped cerebellum which means our thinking brain is taking all the pressure when it comes to learning new skills. This is a great explanation as to why us ADHDers struggle with our executive function.

Today’s wonderful guest is Wynford Dore is the founder of Zing performance and is referenced by Ned in his book he through a personal struggle with his daughter has been on a mission for 20 years to research this groundbreaking way of treating our ADHD.

Wynford says Cerebellum has long lasting effects and that if we could get children to start this training from a young age they would show minimal symptoms of ADHD by the time they were adults.

These guys are SO confident about what they have created they even offer a full refund if you don't get results!!

A bit about Wynford…

For the last 20 years I have focussed my attention on changing the world, one brain at a time. I have funded many research projects and now work with the leading academics to determine the best solutions that successfully accelerate the development of learning in the brain - which finds our hidden potential and increases mental capacity…. including creating greater stronger emotional controls.

Zing Performance now has the tools, scientific research, and strategy to achieve the results that every parent and child longs to see.

The success that Wynford has seen already speaks for itself and I can honestly say my life and the way I felt changed with just 30 days of Zing Performance training.

Today's guest is a pretty special one…. I was invited to parliament to talk to the one and only Lord John bord the founder of the big issue which is the UK’s number one street paper giving people who are experiencing homelessness & vulnerability the opportunity to earn a legitimate income, thereby helping them to reintegrate into mainstream society.

John has had a really interesting life And what a story of struggle to strength he shares.

This chat was probably some of the greatest life advice I have and will ever receive. What stood out for me most during this chat was John's strong self belief and confidence, something that many of us spend years if not our entire lifetime trying to find.

John also talks very passionately about not being afraid of failure and in fact that is something that should be embraced on the journey to success.

I hope this episode inspires you as much as it has me.

Who said Meditation had to be boring?

The thought of meditation for most adhders can sound like absolute hell.

Having undiagnosed ADHD and living with a tangled mind and a chaotic life, jumping onto the Meditation wagon did not come easy for me too.

However many failed attempts I did a very adhd thing and got creative with my meditations and started to take bits of what I liked and turn them into something way more relatable to what was going on in my brain and most importantly I brought some ADHD sparkle into the mix.

Rob Hisee AKA The UK's number One Unconscious Mind Therapist & Celebrity Life coach and entrepreneur.

I love this chat with Rob. He has an infectious energy and shares a real honest opinion on how his ADHD showed up prior to diagnosis and also shares his stories around his own mental health struggles. Rob said he has trained his brain through using visulisation and following his passion and finding his purpose. Rob now truly owns that he thinks his ADHD is a strength. He believes we have the power to make our ADHD work for us once we have the awareness of it.

Rob is really passionate about empowering others to fulfill their goals and was in fact one of the people to push me to start chasing mine which I will always be truly grateful for. Rob also shares his in depth knowledge on visualisation as a tool to enable you manifest more of what you want in your life.

Expect a good laugh and to feel energised to turn your struggles into strength.

Untangling Politics.... Politics  I wouldn't say it's my strongest area of interest.

**However due to my own personal experiences with my own ADHD diagnosis & the more work I am doing within the ADHD community, I think it's important for me to learn more about what the government is doing in regards to supporting our community and like everything I do with Untangled help spread the word to our community to give them the information they need to feel validated & hopeful that change is on its way and how our community can get involved.

Bambos Charalambous a Labour MP and the chair of the ADHD APPG, shares his thoughts on ADHD and how he would like to see change for our community. It was a pleasure to meet Bambos Charalambous  and I truly believe he will fight for the we need in the diagnosis process for ADHD.

So today's guest is not officially or self diagnosis with ADHD however Matt represents SO much of what I want to share on Untangled.

Turning Struggles into Strength.

Embracing and showing up in the world as who we really are after years of masking, trying to fit in and ignoring our intuition.

Like many Undiagnosed ADHDers we often relate to spending a lot of our lives with an intuitive feeling that we didn't fit into ‘society norm’ in all aspects of our life work/relationships and even just in the way we present ourselves.

And although we may spend many years ignoring this intuition and masking ( trying to fit in & identify with external expectations & labels ) In my experience no matter how many times I tried the intuition just became stronger and stronger.

For me there are two things that have brought me more towards the path of embracing who I really am & what it is I really want to do with my time on this earth and that is Yoga & my ADHD diagnosis. There is a lot of freedom that comes from a diagnosis and I truly believe that it enables us to start really showing up as who we really are and who we were always meant to be.

So Matt G the creator & host of the ‘ The Niche is you Podcast’ who I came across on instagram after resonated with his beautifully creative words that instantly touched my soul like no one else. Almost as if he knew exactly what I was thinking and how I see the world, Is ALL about breaking down society's expectations & norms by starting to connect to ourselves internally so we can become more of us!!

Today's conversation will go deeper into how  having undiagnosed adhd caused him to hit burn out a number of times and how his diagnosis changed his life!!

Todays's episode is with @stefanrosslipman who is just a wonderful human being.

His story is the kind of story that makes a great story in my eyes.

I always say a great story includes adventure, a character who is imperfect, yet charismatic, who goes through struggle, transformation & comes back stronger with a mission to support & inspire others to do the same.

Stefan's story is all of the above. He shares very authentically his struggles with ADHD, addiction, mental health and how he has managed to turn it all around. Stefan is now sober and uses his social media platforms to support others who are suffereing with their ADHD & mental health. He is now also currently working on creating an amazing mental health kit with all his favourite self care tools.

TRIGGER WARNING :
please note this Untangled explores some very sensitive topics such as suicide, depression, anxiety, drug use and eating disorders.

Standing up for ADHD!!

Same street at same time, same age with same undiagnosed disability.

After their diagnosis of ADHD & the realisation of the horrifying number of missed and undiagnosed females they have made their mission is to make some serious noise about ADHD in females in order to make the change that is needed.

So they created the Insightful, authentic and hilarious podcast ADHDAF.

Its bloody brilliant and has helped me on my journey in so many ways and many others… these girls weren't joking when they said they wanted to make a noise after just 7 months have done just that - as it stands they have over 250K downloads and counting in 168 countries and they want to ensure that change is made!!

This conversation digs deep into the devastating effects undiagnosed ADHD can have on our mental health, diagnosis struggles & what changes we would like to see be made and laughing at ourselves!

PLEASE NOTE
As this was my very first episode ( and i have no idea what I was doing) my sound can sound a little bit low at times ( sorry)! but this conversation was too good not share.

TRIGGER WARNING

A big massive welcome to the ADHD Untangled podcast.
https://www.instagram.com/adhd_untangled/
So todays my first ever episode of Untangled I really tried to get out of doing a solo episode I was asking friends if they could maybe interview but i was advise by few people that it would be good for me to do this alone.

This episode why i created untangled is all about my own personal ADHD story.

The main goal this episode is to really show up as authentically as I can - sharing my ADHD experience as I think sharing our experiences with each other is truly one of the most valuable gifts we can offer each other in our community.

We've spent a lot time being undiagnosed and feeling totally alone so i hope by sharing this episode and the others we can start to feel less alone and more connected on our ADHD journeys.

LIFE CHANGING for me.

Hearing other peoples stories. Enabled me to have acceptance in who i am, more compassion towards myself and ultimately start embracing & own my true authentic self for the first time ever.

So here goes......
