This is a place we where we can be real as Christians. We will share our victories over our past failures. And we will talk to missionaries who are making a difference in this world. We will then mix those ideas together to help us learn to lean in to our own personal calling. Many of us believe if we have a past, we are not good enough to be used by God - But this is the farthest thing from the truth. We will unpack the power of our New Clothes (Zechariah 3:3-4) and how we can have victory in our daily life, and be brave enough to walk out our god given calling.
In Luke 19 Jesus tells a parable about 10 servants.
Seven of them didn't want the master to be king at all...
One takes what he gives and hides it.
One takes what he is given and shows a profit of 5 times as much
One takes what is given and shows a 10 times ROI...
Which one do you want to be?
Boy was I convicted when I read it. While I know I'm not one of the Seven... I sure want more than to just hide what he has given me. I want to be one of the two.
Be encouraged… God wants to breath his breath of life into you! He says Dry Bones hear the word of the Lord and LIVE!
Are you struggling with guilt and shame? Do you feel like your past defines you? The Bible tells us God remembers our sin no more.
Are you discouraged? Is Satan whispering in your ear about past sins and shame? I want to encourage you to day to - leave it in the water!
Do you feel like you are ready to walk away from something that has had a hold on you? But you wonder if you have to do it yourself? Where is God in all of this? Joshua 3 and 4
Are you your own biggest block in your victory process? Do you know it all and not need any help? Or are you willing to learn? God is a generous God. He wants to give you victory and often times that means we have to allow others to help.
I saw a quote that said… nobody works harder than the woman who doesn’t want to ask people for anything. I just think that is so sad. But the reality that is so many of us. I want to encourage you today to find your group of ladies. We are made for community. Don’t go it alone.
Meditating on God’s word bring success. Today I want to challenge you to fall in love with the word of God in 2024
You stand in a place of undeserved favor! Because of your faith in Christ you can enter the throne of God and ask him for anything you need. Once an enemy now a friend. Hope, joy, and peace are yours.
Do you ever feel like you just can't take one more thing?
Today we are in Genesis 42:36 Jacob exclaimed, "You are robbing me of my children! Joseph is gone! Simeon is gone! And now you want to take Benjamin, too. EVERYTHING IS GOING AGAINST ME!
The crazy thing is... is that in this moment that Jacob felt total dispare God was planning something amazing. Jacob would find out Joseph his beloved son was a live.
Yet in the moment he had a choice that laid before him. How could God ask "one more thing" of him. Would he surrender?
What does the work Hope mean in the Bible. Let’s read Daniel 6:10-22 and Ephesians 1:18 to find out.
Do you know what you want? God answers prayers but are you being specific? Listen in on a Blind man’s story.
The Lord leads your steps! Why try to understand everything along the way. Let God know you are available to be led today.
Psalms 34: 2-3 I will boast only in the Lord, let all who are helpless take heart. Come, let us tell if the Lord’s greatness; let us exalt his name together.
Girlfriend do you struggle with anger? Do you often start fights? Here are some great words of encouragement out of Proverbs to gain victory. The real victory you are seeking.
Quarreling, nagging, complaining… let’s be real as wives. If you’re not married don’t tune out. There is something for everyone. Gods word never returns void.

I’m still in the mountains of Haiti hiding out with my bonus daughter. This means my internet is pretty slow. Last week was rough. And so I looked for a message that could encourage me, and maybe encourage you too. This message reminded me that my Father IS fighting for me! And He’s fighting for you too. Love you guys
Suzette Volcey is the founder of P3 5 Living Beyond ministries. She has a calling to educate and to empower women.
Jayme and Suzette talk about the need to know who we are in Christ. Who our father is, and that he wants an intimate relationship with us. Suzette explains its ok to be mad, but she says be mad at the saviors feet. Its okay to be sad, but be sad at the feet of the father.
She says, "You know what my father, he is my creator, he loves me, he knows my thoughts. He knows my inner being so, I guess."
"Do I know what I'm feeling, and do I trust him with my feelings? Do I know my fears? Do I trust him with my fears?"
"The enemy thinks it's gonna break us but it didn't, and we are still here, and we need to realize that our father has us in his plan, no matter what the herd is, no matter what the pain is. If we surrender, he has a plan to help us walk through it, and it's always a victorious plan!"
GOD HAS A PLAN FOR YOU! AND YOUR STORY MATTERS!

In Haiti, people will call out Cafe con Leche in Spanish when Junior and I pass by or Kafeole in Creole. We don't mind being called Coffee and Milk. In fact, we tend to look at each other and giggle. We are two very different people with different cultures, different skin colors, and different backgrounds. But God takes our differences and uses them to complement each other much like milk and coffee do.
Junior agreed to speak with me on today's episode. He shared some of the things he deals with in Haiti and how he has learned to trust God through it all. He talks about discernment and being able to say no sometimes.
One thing that really stuck out to me was when he said, "In good times and in bad times, the only name to call is Jesus. He is faithful and He is always there."
Do you need to call out to Jesus today? If you're in a good time or a bad time, He is there waiting for your call.

Sue Noble, went from sold out to partying to sold out to Jesus when her first born son was one years old. Matthew was born with a large hole in his heart and with a double outlet right ventricle. But when he was 2 years old God spoke to Sue and said, "I am going to heal your son and I am going to give him a new heart and put a new spirit with in him." When Matt was 5 he went into caridac arrest for what would be the first of many times. Sue struggled in the doing. She thought, maybe she didn't have enough faith, if only she prayed more, learned more scripture, and did everything right... maybe then God would fulfil His promise. Listen in as Sue goes from trying to do it all right, to recognizing there wasn't anything she could do. It wasn't up to her, she just had to rest in the promise God gave her. Isaiah 30:15 This is what the Sovereign Lord the Holy One of Israel says only in returning to me and resting in me will you be saved in quietness and confidence is your strength. Let that sink in only in returning to me and resting in me is your salvation. That's how you'll be saved. And quietness and confidence is your strength. There's no doing here.

In today's episode, Jayme talks with Sarah Shrieber.
Sarah is a singer, song writer, speaker and author of the book called A Journey Called Grief. Listen in as Sarah shares her journey and teaches us important lessons on how to minister to those in grief. (Sarah) Having gotten married, had three children, toured extensively, and developed a budding marriage ministry with her husband, Chad, Sarah heard distinctly from the Lord that it was time to enter a season of rest. God told her she needed to find her first love again . . . Him!She looks back now and knows . . . that year of going deep with the Lord was His way of preparing her for the darkest days of her life which were about to crash upon her.
Just two months after releasing Gratitude, and poised to walk into a national marriage ministry, Sarah’s whole life crashed around her when on October 7th, 2007 Chad collapsed and died while running the Chicago Marathon. He was only thirty-five. In one heartbeat, Sarah became a thirty-three-year-old widow and a single mama. In one heartbeat, the hopes and dreams of a young woman’s heart died along with her beloved that day.
God’s dreams for Sarah did not die that day though. God sustained Sarah through each step of her painful grief journey and along the way He opened one door after another for Sarah to minister to the hearts of hurting people.

Kristen Bradshaw dreamed of being a mama. She, along with her husband Alex, also felt called to missions. While Haiti was the last place, she wanted to go, all of God's directions seemed to lead them there. At first, it felt like it could be a perfect match. Kristen and Alex were struggling to have a baby and longed for a family when they met a man who had an orphanage. Maybe they could be parents to these special children who needed parents, and while ministering to them, they would get their hearts ministered to too.
But the orphanage was not what they thought it would be, and they began to sense God's direction for them, change. They began to see the truth about orphanages and the true needs of the children running in the streets.
Kristen shares about her journey with infertility and even her anger with God. She also shares about the lies she believed and the steps she took to find peace in the longing.
She also shares the struggles they are dealing with living in a very volatile country, adopting a baby, and not being able to leave. During our interview, her husband was busy packing, so they were ready to run out the door (flee their home) should the gangs come closer.

You are an amazing workmanship. You are stronger than you think. You are more valuable than you know. I promise you, the more you know your own value, the more you will come to peace, the less coveting you will do and the more content you will be in life. And when we find that contentment, there's such freedom. There's freedom to love our sisters. There's freedom to say, wow, look at you shine.. We should help our sisters shine, not try to put out their candles. Let's not compete left and right. Let's compete with the person in the mirror and let's make her more beautiful in the sight of God, not in this world.

Jamie Barris is a life coach, author, and the host of the Authentically Raw podcast. In this conversation, Jamie and Jayme talk about codependency and how it affects people who don't have any big sins or traumatic experiences in their past. Codependency is more than just being surrounded by an alcohol addiction, and Jamie explains what it is and how it can affect people. She explains that codependency is when someone's identity and self-worth are wrapped up in the approval and attention of other people, and that it can cause people to go into rages or feel a lack of identity. Jamie also talks about how she didn't realize she was severely codependent until later in life.
The conversation focuses on the issue of codependency, which is the tendency to become emotionally dependent on others or to become overly involved in another person's life. We discuss how people can become passive aggressive or resentful when they overextend themselves in codependent relationships. We talk about how codependency can lead to feelings of powerlessness and low self-esteem, and suggest that the key to overcoming these issues is to practice self-care, set boundaries, and allow others to have power and accountability over their own lives. The conversation also mentions how codependency can be seen in religious contexts, such as when people feel the need to do everything for others in order to maintain their value.
About Jamie:
Jamie believes the relationship you have with yourself dictates all aspects of life. It is the funnel through which all other relationships flow. Including, but not limited to, the relationships you have with others, your body, career, money, food, your problems, and values.
As a life coach she will empower you with the knowledge, tools, and techniques to get you results. Wherever you feel stuck or if you’re sick of living in a constant state of anxiety and exhaustion or simply feel unfulfilled in life.

God has put a call on your life just like he did on Jeremiah. There is nothing we can do to take that call away from us. He also tells us in this first chapter, that there are place we need to tear down and uproot, and there are areas we need to plant and rebuild. Lets take a minute to look into our hearts and ask God where he wants us to surrender to Him in both of these areas... Does he want to tear down some of your walls, or uproot some of your actions... Does he want you to invest in a new way of thinking. Plant new seeds and watch them grow? --- Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/jamie-sinsmyr/support

Natalie and Flore share about the realities of being a missionary in Haiti. They share how they minister to and care for their family and the communities they serve. Haiti is hard. God doesn’t promise us easy. But he Does promise to walk through it with us. Listening to the Holy Spirit is crucial. We had to stop saying, “When the country gets better, we will go back.” Natalie shares how she didn't know if she would ever return after a terrifying moment and fleeing the country 2 years prior. But God. The Holy Spirit convicted her and asked her to release her control over the situation. They followed and are back in the country building in the midst of war. I didn’t want him to go into the slum. Flore shares how her husband felt the Lord telling him to go into the slum. For several weeks she said no way. But God. The Holy Spirit showed her a vision of him in the slum, and she knew he needed to go. Wearing a bulletproof vest, she watched her husband leave. God is calling each one of us to a closer relationship with him. He wants to speak to you today. Are you listening?

Matthew 5:14-16
You are the light of the world. Like a city on the hilltop that cannot be hidden. No one lights a lamp and then puts it under a basket. Instead a lamp is placed on a stand, where it gives light to to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your good deeds shine out for all to see so that everyone will praise your heavenly father.
John 1:5
The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness can NEVER extinguish it!
Phillipeans 2:14-16a
Do everything without complaining and aruguing, so that no one can criticize you. Live clean, innocent lives as children of God, shining like bright lights in a worldfull of crooked and perverse people. Holding firmly tothe word of life.
We are the light of the world. Let us take on the attitude of Christ Jesus, and shine brightly!

So after a few hours of working on the song, we were ready to call it a day. One person was traveling later that day and had to leave soon. And I was traveling to florida the next day. If we didn't get anything recorded, I would have nothing. So we winged it with one final run and took it as it is.
Its not the final rendition but its a messy start. And my first song ever written. It has its issues, but I hope it makes you smile and maybe even helps lift your mood.
