What is Social Studies to a Middle Schooler? Students get candid about what they are learning and make connections to the real world.
Today we are joining together many of our students from ALL of our previous panels to talk about the many questions and thoughts about Social Studies and why we study history. We have our brilliant minds of our students discuss and continue our connections to geography, religions culture, government and/or economy in ancient times and how it connects to today.
Our question today is: "What is one major fact that we have learned about The Middle Ages that will help us now and in the future?"
Wow are 6th Grade students engaged in learning about ancient civilizations and today's current events! This panel has amazed us in their preparation and attention to detail. Connecting many areas of history in their debate and listening to others as well!!
