Compassion for Assholes: Recent Episodes

David Beseler

The title of the podcast is Compassion for Assholes. The intent of the podcast is to help bridge the gap between the people who have been or are recovering assholes and those who have been the casualties of their behavior. Not to be an apologist for them, but to create an understanding as to what makes them who they are. I believe that, in the simplest form, healing can happen if I am able to create an understanding as a recovering asshole myself, as to what it was in my life that created the circumstances that led to my behaviors and particular personality traits.

Samuel often finds themself relating more to the transformative cycles of nature than their peer group, and while it may be alienating, it is also revitalizing. Find more about them on Instagram @secretgaygentsam where they explore foraging, fermenting, alchemical art, culinary, and dozens of other interests.
