It’s a reminder that self-awareness and conscious choice often make the difference between being paralysed by fear or growing through it.

This episode is the continuation of last week's conversation on how Men can strengthen their intuition. Doug picks up where he left off, diving into four more practical and powerful ways to deepen your intuitive awareness.

Here’s what we cover this week:

  1. Grounding Reconnect with nature by spending at least 20 minutes barefoot on the earth—walk on grass, tend a garden without gloves, or swim in a natural body of water. Grounding helps regulate your energy and supports intuitive clarity.
  2. Rest & Relaxation True rest isn’t scrolling social media or binge-watching TV. It’s about stepping away from the noise. Doug encourages taking mindful breaks—go for a walk with your partner, bring the kids to the park, and leave the devices behind.
  3. Emotions Instead of suppressing or analyzing your feelings, allow them to move through you. Emotional flow helps align your frequency with intuitive insight.
  4. Synchronicities Pay attention to meaningful coincidences. Note when they happen and how they make you feel. Recording synchronicities can increase your awareness of the unseen patterns guiding your life.

If you missed Part 1, be sure to go back and listen—it lays the foundation for this week’s insights.

In this powerful and personal episode, the tables are turned as Doug Beitz becomes the interviewee, diving into a topic close to his heart: how men can develop and strengthen their intuition.

Doug reflects on a recent conversation where he was asked, “What can men do to improve their intuition?” Three clear and intuitive insights came to him in that moment, which he shares in this episode:

  1. Eat fresh, local food – avoid processed food. Doug explains that we are energetic beings made of frequencies, and processed foods carry a low vibrational frequency that can cloud our intuitive abilities. Fresh, local food supports the clarity needed to tune in.

  2. Practice meditation. Doug highlights the importance of stillness and offers practical tips for quieting the mind. Meditation is a powerful tool for reconnecting with your inner guidance.

  3. Act on the intuitive nudges you receive. Intuition strengthens with use. Doug encourages listeners to trust and act on those inner whispers—because if you don’t use it, you lose it.

This episode is a must-listen for men ready to deepen their self-awareness and reconnect with their intuitive nature.

This week the Men's Intuition Roundtable discuss Death.

  • Divine Intervention: Trunnis Goggins Jr shares an anecdote about his uncle, a Vietnam War door gunner who survived being shot down three times without injury, as evidence that "when it's your time to go, it's your time to go" and divine intervention will occur if it's not your time.
  • Near-Death Experience: Mark Patterson recounts his own profound near-death experience, asserting that death is an illusion and involves a shift in focus akin to changing TV channels. He emphasizes that the soul is eternal and individuals choose whether to return to their physical bodies or transition to a higher dimension.
  • No Hell, Only Heaven: Mark challenges traditional religious beliefs by stating that no one goes to hell. He posits that everyone returns to heaven, their place of origin, regardless of their beliefs.
  • Reincarnation and Karma: Mark suggests that these concepts were originally part of early Christianity and have been validated by his personal experiences and study of religious history.
  • Post-Death Consciousness Work: Kevin advocates for guided visualization to overcome fear and uncertainty surrounding death. He describes a personal experience using visualization to work through the process of dying and experiencing the peace and interconnectedness of post-death consciousness.
  • Tethered by Negative Emotions: Both Mark and Kevin Russell discuss the idea of being "tethered" to the physical world after death by unresolved emotions like grief, pain, and guilt. They suggest that these emotions can hinder the transition to higher realms.
  • Reuniting with Loved Ones: Mark assures listeners that they will reunite with loved ones who have passed on in the afterlife, describing it as a reunion with their "soul family." He emphasizes the importance of letting go of grief and pain to facilitate the transition for both the deceased and those left behind.
  • Thinning of the Veil: Kevin highlights the possibility of connecting with deceased loved ones through heightened experiences like near-death experiences or practices like breathwork that stimulate extrasensory perceptions. He encourages open curiosity and a willingness to challenge limiting beliefs to access these abilities.
  • Significance of Halloween and Day of the Dead: The discussion touches on the origins of Halloween and Day of the Dead as celebrations honoring ancestors and acknowledging the thinning of the veil between the physical and spiritual realms. Doug contrasts the commercialization of Halloween in Western cultures with the more traditional celebration of Day of the Dead in Latin American cultures.
  • Importance of Honoring Deceased Loved Ones: Kevin encourages listeners to engage in practices like asking for signs from loved ones and staying present in daily life as ways to connect with and honor those who have passed.
  • Sharing Grief and Supporting Others: Doug and Trunnis share their perspectives on the importance of talking about deceased loved ones and supporting those who are grieving. Trunnis announces his upcoming book, "Stories of Children Lost," which aims to provide solace and guidance to parents who have experienced the loss of a child.

The Power of Empathy and Leadership in Challenging Careers

In this episode, Doug Beitz sits down with Jon Molik to discuss the profound impact of empathy and intuition in leadership roles within high-stress professions, such as firefighting, law enforcement, and the military. Jon shares his personal journey, revealing how his experiences shaped his understanding of empathy and its critical role in effective leadership.

The conversation kicks off with Jon reflecting on how personal struggles led him to appreciate the power of empathy. He recounts how, during difficult times in his life, the empathy shown by others—whether through direct support or the absence of punitive actions—played a pivotal role in his recovery and personal growth. This realization inspired him to adopt a more empathetic approach in his professional life, particularly in his later years in law enforcement and the military.

Doug and Jon then delve into the challenges of fostering empathy in traditionally tough environments like firefighting and law enforcement. Doug recalls his days as a professional firefighter, highlighting the camaraderie among firefighters and the often-limited presence of empathy in what was, at the time, a predominantly male-dominated field. Jon echoes these sentiments, noting that while some progress has been made, many law enforcement and military environments still struggle with deeply ingrained "boys' club" mentalities.

The discussion also touches on the significance of empathy in leadership. Jon shares insights from his military career, emphasizing that leaders who exhibit empathy and intuition can more effectively manage chaotic situations, inspire their teams, and maintain morale. He contrasts this with leaders who are closed-minded and stressed, often leading to less effective management and increased tension.

Towards the end of the episode, Jon opens up about his battle with alcohol addiction, which intensified after a particularly challenging deployment in Afghanistan. He explains how the lack of consequences for his behavior during this time—thanks to the understanding and empathy of those around him—allowed him the space to recover and ultimately quit drinking. This personal experience further solidified his belief in the transformative power of empathy, both in his personal life and as a leader.

Doug and Jon conclude the episode by discussing the importance of emotional intelligence and vulnerability, particularly for men in high-pressure professions. They advocate for the development of empathy and intuition as essential skills for leading a more fulfilling life and creating more supportive, effective work environments.

Key Takeaways:

  • Empathy is a powerful tool in leadership, especially in high-stress professions like firefighting, law enforcement, and the military.
  • Personal struggles can lead to a deeper understanding of empathy, which can enhance one’s ability to lead and connect with others.
  • The "boys' club" mentality still exists in many traditionally male-dominated fields, but progress is being made towards more inclusive and empathetic work environments.
  • Leaders who are empathetic and intuitive are more effective in managing chaos and inspiring their teams.
  • Emotional intelligence and vulnerability are crucial for personal growth and creating a positive impact in professional settings.

Quotable Moments:

  • "The power of empathy from others helped me realize that I needed to give that same empathy to others." – Jon Molik
  • "Empathy is not a sign of weakness; it’s a crucial aspect of strong leadership." – Doug Beitz
  • "Leaders with empathy and intuition can slow things down in chaos, making everything run smoother." – Doug Beitz

Actionable Advice:

  • Develop your empathy and intuition, regardless of your profession. It can significantly improve your leadership skills and personal relationships.
  • Reflect on your personal experiences and consider how they might have shaped your ability to empathize with others.
  • In male-dominated fields, strive to break down the "boys' club" mentality by fostering inclusivity and understanding among all team members.

Today Doug speaks with Charles Clay who is an Inner Peace Coach & Healer.

Doug asks Charles about the difference between Anxiety and Intuition. Both send messages to us, but is it all intuition? Charles shares from the depths of his experience and understanding, bringing enlightenment and simple analogies to this often avoided subject.

Pay Attention Inwards Now (PAIN) is another gem Charles shares with listeners, and again we look at the relationship between PAIN and Intuition, and the benefits of examining physical and emotional pain.

Charles talks about childhood trauma and how addictions are connected, eg smoking and unresolved grief. The lungs are connected to grief, and the smoke can temporarily mask the lingering grief. He shares how to sit in the grief and see the message it has for us. When that message is received and understood, some of our addictions can drop away on their own.

Doug asks Charles questions like, “What's your biggest fear?”, “Do you see this life we're living as a game that we forgot we're playing?”, and “What do you think is the purpose of the game?”

Charles tells a very moving story about a friend channeling Charles' Dad after he had pass on, and the physical confirmation of the message the next day in his garden.

Listen in, you will be enlightened and moved to a higher place of Intuitive knowledge.

35 years ago Doug heard these words “Most men lead lives of quiet desperation”, and that resonated deeply with him. Doug recognised that men close to him were living this type of life, but it was also effecting him directly.

Through the years he decided that he didn't want children growing up in fear of when their Father would arrive home from work. In more recent years Doug realised, if men could make just one better decision each day, they would feel better about themselves and arrive home in a better state of mind, and their partner and children would be happy they were home, instead of living in dread, not knowing how their Partner or Father would be when they arrived home.

Also in this episode Doug talks about the half truths we are bombarded with everyday, and the only way we can sift through the overload of information is to go within, and seek it from our inner guidance system, which is our Intuition.

Helping men make one better decision each day!

In this podcast episode, Greg discusses his journey as an author, starting with a challenging period in his life that led him to explore principles from quantum physics and the law of attraction. He shares how he created a belief-raising process that helped him overcome significant obstacles, including debt, foreclosures, and the dissolution of his marriage.

Greg elaborates on his writing journey, which resulted in nine books, with the latest titled "A Handbook for Those Already Born: How to Manifest Better Versions of Reality." He talks about the unique structure of the book, including channeled information in some chapters, offering practical self-help with an esoteric lens.

Doug, the podcast host, engages Greg in a discussion about the book's channeled content, seeking to clarify the concept of channeling for listeners who may be unfamiliar with it. Greg describes channeling as the process of bringing information from the world of energy into our reality.

I was depressed on my 30th birthday, because my ego had set set a big goal that I wanted completed before I turned 30. I had made a lot of progress, but was behind my self imposed deadline. I needed to learn to chill out. When I was 45 to 50, I was living the dream of that goal. When I was 53 I financially had a huge windfall from that objective I was frustrated by at 30. If you're around this age and confused, frustrated or concerned, have a listen and it might just be what you need to hear.

It’s an Inside job

We are overwhelmed with information, and not all of it is true. We need advanced ways to sort through it, and one of those ways is to train ourselves to look inside ourselves for the answers.

How do we look inside?

Get quiet, meditation

Get quiet, play with your inner thoughts in a quiet location

Get quiet, listen to your heart beat, be conscious of your breath, follow it

Get quiet, ask a question inside your head, and wait for the answer. Don't judge the answer, just listen to it and allow the thoughts/answers to flow

In this episode Doug takes us on an inward journey, where we look at some of our actions and reactions. He asks the question, are we doing something because of Ego? Maybe to show others we are good enough, maybe it's really to showing ourselves that we are good enough. Are we doing something through benevolence, a sense of purpose, an inner guidance?

Are we Reacting or Responding? Doug gives examples from his professional firefighting days of the difference between these two, and why responding usually has a much better outcome.

Are we doing something out of fear, or to cover our inadequacies, or to align with the mask we have on at that time?

Is divine guidance or intuition determining why we do things? That still small voice, the inner knowing, the gut feel, is that why?

Listen in to hear the intuitive conversation.

This weeks guest is Taylor Cecil. His passion for holistic training and wellness began in 2007 after he was diagnosed with chronic fatigue syndrome, after training heavily for the professional triathlon circuit. Taylor sought out Jan Catron (CHEK Australia) for his rehab, and his mind and body were transformed. Taylor learnt that intensive training must be balanced with restorative practices to rise to one's highest potential. After seeing for himself the power accessible through holistic practices, Taylor was inspired to follow Jan’s path and study CHEK. Fast forward 15 years, Taylor has honed his skills as a holistic movement specialist and is now an authority on holistic health and functional training. With world champion clients from Olympians to Ironmen, World Surf Champions to Wakeboarders, Taylor is highly regarded in peak performance training. As a Certified Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilisation (DNS) Trainer, Taylor brings a unique and highly acute level of expertise to his physical assessments. This gives Taylor’s clients’ training an extra layer of complexity and detail as the system of DNS is woven into his programs and methods as a coach.

In addition to his accolades as a physical coach, Taylor is well known for his ability to bring mental clarity, calm and wisdom to his clients. Deeply passionate about the mental-emotional side of coaching, Taylor is often sought out for mental coaching alone. As a keynote speaker for companies like Red Bull , Everyday Massive and the Entrepreneurs Organisation to name a few, he is well positioned to motivate big thinkers and anyone wanting to transform their mindset and lives.

During the podcast Taylor shares about his brand new Wellness Sanctuary “Native State” and his entrepreneurial journey to put it all together.

We find out what Taylor was like when he was a teenager, which is very different to who he is today.

Taylor shares about traveling with Wim Hof on his first Australian visit, and what he's learnt about releasing adrenalin using Wim Hof's breathing techniques.

Of course we talk about when he first noticed intuition being real in his life, and what triggered that for him.

Taylor explains a concept about the ideal flow state, a scale of how we need to feel on a scale of 0 to 10 for many different activities.

We discuss his biggest fear, and how he deals with lifes frustrations.

The final question Taylor answers is a doozey. If his microphone was connected to all 8 billion people on the planet, and they were all listening to you right now, and you knew they would not blame, shame, or judge you for anything you said. What would you say to them? Listen in to hear his answer!

What do I mean when I talk about “Static”? It's the moments in life we don't enjoy, because they're the moments when we are at a low vibration, or a vibration that isn't optimal for us.

Everything is vibrating at different speeds. Scientists tell us nothing is really solid.

Everything is attracted or repelled by nearby frequencies. That's why we become what we surround ourselves with.

How do we minimise the Static?

Turn the dial, change what you do, try one of the following five suggestions resonates that with you. Don't overload yourself and try them all at once, slow and steady wins the race. Just pick one and really work on improving that one, you can work on a different one later. (There are more than these five, but this is a good start)

Increase our frequency, so it attracts higher vibrations to us by trying the following -

Consider your food intake, eat more fresh food, and far less “processed” food.

Meditation, start a daily practice. Use guided meditations if your mind wanders. I use them all the time.

Get some early morning or late afternoon sun. This gives us vitamin D which is essential to our overall health.

Alcohol can cause Static with our frequencies. Reduce it at the very least.

Get out into nature, it has a way of balancing us because it can balance itself. We become what we surround ourselves with. Surround yourself with nature, and your frequency will become balanced like it.

Men, reducing the Static in your life will help your Intuition come on line.

Welcome to today's episode where we'll be discussing the bullshit surrounding men and intuition. In a world where trust is hard to come by, it's essential to know who we can rely on. And the truth is, the only person you can trust is yourself. For too long, men have been told that intuition is a trait associated with women. But that's a load of bullshit.

Back in the day, men had to rely on their intuition to hunt wild animals and provide for their families and tribes. Their survival depended on their ability to outsmart the animal, which required them to trust their instincts. The older men would teach the younger ones how to listen to their gut, their instincts, and their bodies.

But over time, society has fed men a bunch of crap, leading them to believe that intuition is a trait reserved for women. This sexist belief has made men dismiss their intuition and ignore their inner knowing.

It's time for men to wake the fuck up and realise that they possess the same intuitive abilities as women. They need to learn to trust themselves, their inner awareness, and their instincts. Developing trust in oneself is crucial for navigating the challenges of life. Trusting your intuition can help you make better decisions, avoid danger, and find your true purpose in life.

In this episode Doug gives you 4 Life Hacks to help you reduce the effects stressful situations can have on us. Situations like public speaking, an emergency, a job interview, competing in a race, an exam etc.

Tunnel vision can occur during these moments, as some of the electrical connections in your brain disconnect.

Here are some things we can do to reduce the effects of the stress.

1/ Breathing, big slow exhale out of your mouth, slow inhale through your nose, down into your abdomen.

2/ Shaking your hands, wrists, arm, and whole body. We've all seen Olympic runners and swimmers do it. They're not just warming their physical bodies, they're shaking off anxiety and stress too.

3/ You can reset your nervous system with cold showers and breathing.

4/ Airflow, have a door or window open, or air conditioning on etc.

In this episode Doug talks about money and the fact that it goes where it's welcomed. He asks you the question, do you welcome money, or do you scare it away? What if every dollar bill sensed how you felt about it compared to how you feel about your spouse, children, pets etc. Would your money feel welcome and hang around, or sneak away as soon as it could?

What else can you use as currency, your smile, your vibe, your attitude.

In this episode, Doug challanges you to ask "Why" to everything. Have you ever been around a three-year-old when they continually ask why, why, why. We don't like to be questioned so we just say because we said so, but those children are asking very innocently and respectfully most of the time and I think it's healthy for you to question why you do what you do. Have we been conditioned to think the way we do? Do we ask enough questions of others. Do we politely ask "why" to our political leaders, to our teachers, to those who are in leadership positions over us? If not, why not?
