Neuroplasticity is the ability of the brain to change, or rewire, throughout a person’s life.
Neuroplasticity is activity-driven, and follows the, use it or lose it rule.
“Nerve cells that fire together, wire together”. But the opposite is also true, “Nerve cells that no longer fire together, no longer wires together.” If you don’t use it, you lose it.
If we keep thinking the same thoughts, doing the same things and feeling the same emotions, we will begin to wire our brain into patterns that is the direct reflection of our reality.
You can even focus conscious thought and intention to disconnect or unwire unwanted connections.
It is possible to let go of some of the patterns you’ve been holding on to that colors the way you think, act and feel.

Thank you for tuning in.
The more we become aware of ourselves, the better able we will be, over time, to witness and become aware of our beliefs, and ultimately, actively choose which ones we want to keep and which to leave behind.
That’s why we’ve been diving into different aspects, layers, perspective in the previous episodes in this series, because we are multidimensional beings and there are so many layers to us, and we all also have different levels of awareness.
So now that we’ve went through many different layers, what would you say is your familiar self?
How have you been programmed?
What are your stories?
What are your realities?
What are your roles?
What timelines are interfering with where you are headed?
What is your dominant question?
What are your biases?
What are your beliefs about genes?
What have you practiced so many times that many times your body knows and remembers better than your brain?
What are you emotionally addicted to?
What prevents you from embodying who you truly are independent of conditions in your environment?
These are some of the things we reflect on in this episode.
Tune in if you feel called.

Thank you for tuning in.
We are in constant communication with the world around us as well as the world within us to different degrees.
We may have become addicted to certain environments and certain associations, instead of being addicted, it becomes normal, its familiar.
I invite you to look at your environment and notice the things that you associate with, that trigger certain beliefs, behaviors, habits, patterns, perceptions, skills and more within you?
What associations have your learned through different interactions between your inner world and your outer world?
Can you embody who you truly are independent of conditions in your environment?
These are some of the things that we reflect on in this episode, tune in if you feel called.

How can I make this feeling go away?
Since most of us haven’t been taught how to deal with our emotions, we find ways to distract ourselves from the uncomfortable feelings and emotions.
We do all kinds of things like accumulating new things, and when that wears off and stop working, we look for bigger things and our avoidance strategy becomes an emotional addiction.
What we own, ends up owning us.
We rely on the external to fix the internal. Until the pain goes away, we will keep looking for that “thing” and when we find that “thing” we need more and more.
Often all of this happens subconsciously, and an emotion or a group of emotions are actually driving our behaviors.
We become emotionally addicted, because the feelings and emotions are safe because they are familiar, and the uncomfortable feelings are unfamiliar.
Tune in, if you feel called.

If you’ve been tuning in to this podcast you may have heard me say that the mind changes the body and the body changes the mind. The body doesn’t know the difference between past, present and future or memory, imagination, and reality, to the body it is the same.
The body and the brain is in constant communication, so we begin to feel the way we think and then think the way we feel.
We often compound feelings and emotions, and we may keep dwelling on some past experience for instance and reliving those familiar feelings day in and day out.
When we do this over and over again, we create subconscious programs within us that are automatic behaviors, unconscious attitudes, beliefs, perceptions, patterns, skills, conditioned responses, emotional reactions and more.
These programs are running us because the body has become the mind and many times the body remembers better than the conscious mind does.
What have you practiced so many times, that many times your body knows and remembers better than your brain?
Tune in if you feel called.

Thank you for tuning in.
What are your beliefs around genes?
Epigenetics reveals that consciousness iscontrolling our lives.
Genes cannot control their activity, it’sthe environment that controls the activity and that’s the foundation of thescience of epigenetics, control above the genes.
And consciousness is what interprets thatenvironment and control our genetics.

In this episode we are exploring the reticularactivating system (RAS) in our brain.
When we ask ourselves questions, whetherthey are limiting questions or empowering questions, the RAS gives us evidenceas answers.
These questions direct our focus, whichdirects how we feel and how we live our lives.
My dominant questions for decades used tobe “Did I do something wrong?” and “What did I do wrong?”
This caused me to constantly find myself insituations where I would always do something wrong.
“I am sorry” was something I would say the most.
I was literally apologizing for myexistence.
What is your dominant question?
These are some of the things we explore inthis episode, tune in if you feel called.

The only moment that exists, is NOW, here.Past, present, future – all happening simultaneously.
Have you found yourself in a situationwhere you tried to get away from something but eventually it turned out to be moreof the same?
For instance let’s say you want to move (place/job/person/situation…)to change your circumstances and hope things will get better and you’ll get afresh start and so you move and it seems like a fresh start.
But maybe you’re “running away” fromsomething and unaware of the energies within you, moving won’t really changeanything in the physical reality, it will seem different but it’s more of thesame, because the physical reality is a reflection of the inner reality.
Maybe yoursubconscious is trying to right the wrongs of your past by seeking similardynamics and rewriting history?
A timeline is the energy that is linked tothe specific event here in this physical reality.
If we aren’t updating our timelines withour energetic system, we can set an intention to manifest or create something, but if the energy in our field is still running on an old energetic timelineand interfering with where we are headed we might experience a delay increating the reality we desire.
When we move because we want to change ourcircumstances we are working from the outside in, instead of from the insideout.
Yes, we can use our outer reality as afeedback system to what is going on within us and then work from the insideout.

Thank you for being here.
Most of us grow up thinking of our ego as our true self.
If our needs aren’t met during childhood or the environment is unpredictable it causes us to cope by separating from our true nature, ourauthentic self and we begin to create a false self, the ego, based on what getsus love, validation, acceptance and approval.
In this episode we are diving deeper intothe ego, the false self, the roles that we have taken on.
Sometimes we tend to become so closelyidentified with our roles and think that that’s who we are.
Until we become awareof our roles and learn that to become whole we need all ways of being, theroles we play really run our life and how we interact with the world.
When we find ourselves too comfortable andfamiliar with certain ways of being and uncomfortable with other ways of being,we might begin to feel stuck or feel as if something is missing, that we areblocked from reaching our full potential.
The impact of being unaware of these rolesis that these roles may dominate our thoughts, behaviors and actions most of the time.
Although these roles have succeeded in keeping us safe so far, and they feelvery comfortable and familiar to us, they may not have the best answers for howto live our lives now.

In this episode we’re exploring realities and how we can allow multiple realities to co-exist at the same time.
The only person who can write the script where you are the lead, is you. Are you the lead in your reality?
There’s one reality that’s all about you, where you get to lead, and there are thousands of realities where you get to decide how you show up in other people’s realities.
Tune in if you feel called.

Thank you for tuning in to another episode. In the previous episode we explored how we were programmed. How we were looking to other people in our environment for those cues to help us make sense of what’s going on, what we are experiencing, because we’re unable to at that point.
Those neural pathways we’re repeating, they become our interpretations, our stories, our beliefs of the actual situation, event, circumstance, experience.
A belief is a repeated thought which over time becomes a belief.
We are hearing directly or indirectly from people who we interact with of their interpretation of us, how they experience us, how they perceive us. Because we are in theta, we’re like sponges absorbing everything, they don’t even have to say how they perceive us, we feel their energy.
Through these experiences we create our own meanings, stories and beliefs about life.
These stories become deeply imbedded in our subconscious and then manifest as limiting beliefs that influence much of what we think, say, be and do…
Are you aware of your limiting beliefs?
In this episode we’re exploring some of the most common fears and stories from childhood that we are still experiencing.
Once we start questioning old stories and beliefs that were ingrained in us, we discover the reality of our true nature.

Thank you for tuning in to another episode.
We’re exploring how we were programmed and how our lives are programmed. . .
In the first 7 years the subconscious mind has the ability to download massive amounts of information, we know this thanks to study of brainwaves in adults and children.
If you buy a new phone and you turn it on, the built-in operating system prepares it to work. But if there are no programs in that phone, then the phone can’t really do anything.
So, when the child brain develops, it’s got an operating system but there are no programs in it.
The mind of every human being is a clean slate at birth with infinite potential. So before you can become conscious, if you don’t have any programs, what are you going to be conscious of?
These are some of the things we explore in this episode, tune in if you feel called.

Thank you for tuning in to another episode. In this episode we're exploring the brain waves.
The same brain wave states are common to the human species. Men, woman and children of all ages experience the same characteristic brain waves. They are consistent across cultures and countries.
Can you differentiate when you experience the different brain wave states?

In this episode we explore routines & rituals. Single-tasking and multi-tasking and more.
Our decisions are largely influenced by what’s around us and anything in our surroundings trigger certain thoughts, behaviors, patterns, habits, attitudes and more, which determines how we act.
Setting ourselves up for success begins with changing our environment, with our intentions.
Making changes to our environment makes it easier to be and do what’s aligned without having to think about staying motivated.

Thank you for tuning into another episode.
Our environments, our surroundings, our spaces, where we live and where we spend our time is more important than we think.
Each environment, each surrounding, each space, has its own frequency, its own energy.
Maybe you’re unclear of the different energies because sometimes we use our spaces for multiple purposes and multiple things that we do, so we end up confusing the energy of that space.
So it’s looking at how do you want to feel and arrange your life and environments to invoke those feelings.
This is really about being aware of where you thrive, where you feel on top of the world, and to figure out how to spend most time in those spaces, in those environments, in those surroundings.

A study that followed 268 Harvard undergraduates for 75 years, collecting lots of data about them along the way, the researchers found a single factor that reliably predicted the quality of the participants lives: loving relationships. The participants could have all the right boxes checked of when it comes to success – anything from good physical health, a thriving career, money and more – but if they didn’t have loving relationships, they weren’t happy.
Do you have loving relationships?

Thank you for tuning into another episode.
Jim Rohn said, ’You’re the average of the five people you spend the most time with.’
Research has shown that we are more affected by our environment than we think. We are social creates and we are greatly affected by those closest to us. It affects our way of being, doing, thinking, our self-worth, our self-esteem and our decisions.
What philosophies, perspectives, opinions, beliefs and more are you consciously choosing to allow in your space? Who will you be regardless of how others behave around you?

Now that you have communicated your boundaries, it's very important for you to hold it and honor it. What this means is not going back to your older familiar patterns. For many of us this is the hardest part.
Claim your worth. That’s what boundaries is all about.
I honor you for being here because it takes a lot of courage to be on this path to owning your boundaries and also wanting to be loving at the same time.
Here are your action steps if you feel called are:
Step 1 – Maintain your boundaries
Step 2 – Celebrate the fact that you are showing up and honoring yourself.
Step 3 – Reflect & adjust accordingly & repeat
I know how challenging practicing boundaries can be, so If you’d like support with this, please feel free to reach out to me here: https://soulsearchingspace.as.me/schedule.php?appointmentType=38249648

Thank you for tuning in to another episode, we're continuing the boundaries conversation!
In this episode we’re diving deeper into what to be & do before, during and after setting boundaries.
Here are your action steps if you feel called:
Step 1 – Negotiable, non-negotiables & consequence - Be clear on your non-negotiables, negotiables and consequences before you present your boundary.
Step 2 – Reflect on your role in the relationship before and after, how do you want the other person to feel, how do you want to feel? How will you return to your center and the present moment regardless of what happens? How will you stay strong with your boundaries in the beginning stages?
Step 3 – Practice makes progress – are you willing to practice with a safe person or in front of a mirror and speaking out loud to make boundary setting familiar? Communicating new boundaries takes practice, so planning and practice are key in the beginning.
Step 4 – Communicating boundaries: (I invite you to listen to episode 13 - [The Center] - The Observer, before communicating your boundaries). Communicate the boundary in a way that you would like a boundary to be presented.
o Desire: Communicate your love and desire for a healthy relationship and why this conversation is important.
o Feelings: Keep your focus on YOUR feelings and behavior and use “I feel” statements. Stay clear of blaming, shaming, and making judgments.
o Request: Make a simple and clear request.
o Focus: It’s important to remember to focus on how YOU will begin to respond differently in the future instead of focusing on the other person.
o Consequence: Express the consequence if necessary and remember to never express a consequence you aren’t ready to use.
o Love: Remind them of the love and why you’re setting this boundary. The more clearly you communicate the better you set yourself and your relationship up for successful change.
Step 5 – Sitting with the discomfort & returning to your center & the present moment
Step 6 – Reflect & journal on your experience.
What resonated with you and what are you going to be & do about it?
I know how challenging setting boundaries can be, so If you’d like support with setting boundaries or practicing setting boundaries, please feel free to reach out to me here: https://soulsearchingspace.as.me/schedule.php?appointmentType=38249648

Thank you for tuning in to another episode, we're exploring boundaries!
In this episode we're diving into internal and external boundaries and the 4 boundary types.
If you feel called to embark on a boundary journey here are the 3 actions steps (for now):
Cultivate self-awareness, identify and spend the upcoming days identifying and listing your most commonly crossed boundaries, with yourself and with others.
Get clarity on what boundary you want to set. Remember to start small. What is your goal and motive with setting this boundary? Who do you want to be and what do you want to do? What values are you protecting by setting this boundary? If you're unclear on what your values are, I invite you to sign up for my free online course, you can find it here: https://soulsearching.space/your-core-values-course/
What fears do you have around setting this boundary? What beliefs do you have around boundaries? What will you lose from setting this boundary? What will you gain from setting this boundary?
If you would like support with identifying your limits as well as recognizing what some of those fears are getting in the way of setting boundaries, please feel free to reach out to me here: https://soulsearchingspace.as.me/schedule.php?appointmentType=38249648

The heart sends more information to the brain than the brain sends to the heart.
The heart’s electromagnetic field also affects the limbic system, which is responsible for emotions.
This is why we feel emotions in our hearts as well as our minds.
Tune in if you feel called to explore more about the heart in this week's episode.

Our mind has a life of its own, if we are unaware, it will just keep doing the things it thinks it's "best" for us.
But most of these things are based on what happened to us between the ages 0-7 years old.
Our conscious mind is only a small part of our brain.
While our subconscious is nearly 90% of our mind’s activity.
It’s called the subconscious mind because its beneath our consciousness, beneath our awareness.
Our subconscious mind is at its strongest between the ages 0-7 years old, and we are primarily in the theta and alpha brainwaves.
These states are the same a person is in when they are in a hypnosis or deep meditation.
Our mind is receptive and basically being programmed during the ages 0-7.
That’s why children are like sponges and learn very quickly.
Anything that happens around us, the experiences, the words, the expressions leave impression deep in our subconscious.
If you feel called, tune in.

We know what we know and we know what we don’t know.
But what about all the things we don’t know that we don’t know?
The mind’s main job is to keep us safe, we respect the mind, but we are not here on earth to live through the mind.
We’re here to embody our soul.
When we're on autopilot, we are not aware of what's happening within us, it's partly for this reason neuroscience tells us that over 90% of our behavior is unconscious.
