Hi Cafeteros! And I am back….. again. Anyway, Rabbit trails upon rabbit trails, yes the typical! Y’all know me. This is an episode in which I share some thoughts on some memories while I was a Social Worker/ Case Manager for Department of Child Safety.
Church, family time, traditions, childhood memories all during Christmas and holiday season. Disclaimer: when I do speak about the family situation I want to clarify that it’s not EVERYONE. So I’m still thankful for the few that still check up from time to time.
What do you think of when you hear the word scapegoat/scapegoating? Do we just see examples of it throughout history or also in our modern society? Is scapegoating the act of one individual toward another group or vice versa? Can we think of personal relationships where scapegoating is very obviously happening?
We all know of that one person who just seems far beyond content about their current situation, or not, and they just seem complacent. Is it bad? There’s this theory called “Growth Rings” that I explain— makes a lot of sense. Where do we find the motivation to not just stay content and by default falling into the abyss of complacency?
Welcome back! Just a quick note on my adventure with coffee and with current events. Also, what is it and what was it to grow up as a Mexican American? Is it the same as being a Chicana/o?

I am back! Did y’all miss me? Alright y’all so let’s talk about our society. Has it become disgusting and degenerate? How about the most recent school shooting? Was it really just about gun control issues? Or ….. more. Like those individuals who should apologize to trees for robbing oxygen? Our society becoming a disgusting one? School campus security? Let’s talk and have some cafecito!!
Part 2– Reasons and effects.

Let’s face it, we’ve all been there and done that. Let’s get real though, we are responsible for ensuring we’re good— emotionally and physically. Do we really need to blast our business all over social media? Is it more of an attention tactic or an outlet? Why would we blast our business and not follow up with what we’re are doing to better ourselves? Are we expecting someone else to “white knight” themselves into our lives? Some random thought, I suppose.

Ever wondered why our society has become so sensitive? What is external vs. internal locus of control? Are we sensitive cause we’re entitled?

Why do we lie? Is it our upbringing, malicious intent, innocent, protection, or mental state?
