GOSPEL MUSIC: INDUSTRY OR MINISTRY? The conversation around gospel music, the artiste (minister) and his disposition may be one of those that will be settled when we get to heaven. While many are of the opinion that when it comes to gospel, you are a minister not artiste, as such you shouldn't make money from it, your job is to serve (the Lord that called you will supply your every need)... Many others believe that a worker at the temple should eat from the temple, as such your "ministry" can also be your source of income. There is also the issue of the constant battle between the pastor and the music artistes (ministers) in the same congregation. Ehen... I almost forgot...
