On this episode of The Pro-Ish Podcast I got the opportunity to sit down and chat with Dawn Lisenby. Hearing her talk about cancellations of competitions from a race directors point of view was interesting. As a race director, coach and ultrarunner she sees all sides and it's amazing to to know what she's done with giving people opportunities to enter the sport of running. Listening to how she managed to come back from an injury despite doctors insistence of surgery, balancing family life and coming up as an athlete was inspiring.

On this episode of The Pro-Ish Podcast, I talk about how I manage my time and how important that is for success. Time management is important no matter what your pro-is career is and we all have to learn what process works best for us. Whether that be allotting a set time (i.e. 6pm everyday) or setting a general amount of time (i.e. 10 hours a week). I feel like I work best under pressure with a full schedule. This might not work for everyone so make sure you comment on IG letting me know how you manage your time.

This week on The Pro-Ish Podcast, I'm dedicating this episode to my Dad, the biggest hustler I know. My Dad passed away right before Thanksgiving and I wanted to do something that showed how much of an influence he had on me. I've watched my Dad constantly grind and hustle for what he wanted. It didn't matter if he was fixing people’s cars in the drive way or running his own award-winning food truck. A lot of the qualities that I have talked about and will talk about on this show are things that he emphasized were important. I hope you enjoy this episode and thank you so much for tuning in. LOVE YOU DAD! Follow me on IG in the link below to stay up to date on episodes. Also feel free to subscribe or rate/review, it will help the podcast grow to reach more people.

We got to talk about how he's balanced a musical career with undergrad, D-1 Track and Field, grad school and now career as a digital producer. With everything going on in the world right now it was good to catch up with him on how he handles planning his journey and how he adapts to the changes that come along the way.

On this episode of The Pro-Ish Podcast, I talk about my mantra and how I use a catch-phrase to help me out in tough times and to anchor myself from straying too far. Your mantra can be any saying you want it to be. It can be a quote from a book, a relative or just something that you make up yourself, but you have to believe in the words that you say to make them a reality and for them to continue helping you! I hope you enjoy this episode. Follow me on IG in the link below to stay up to date on episodes.
