Hello lovelies and welcome back!
Food is central to our health, our culture, and the ways in which we interact with one another. The ways in which we grow, prepare, and consume food have connected humans since the beginning of time.
Today, Miles and Aria talk about how food can be used as a tool for spiritual connection and as a way to improve your mental and physical health. We look at the history of food through the context of spirituality and religion, discussing how the rise of capitalism has created a collective disconnect from the food that ends up on our plate. We also go on to chat about our personal journey's with food and plant-based eating, as well as suggesting some simple ways that we can develop a mindful connection to our food.

Hello everyone! Miles and I are excited to be back with a brand new episode for you all!
In this episode, we get real about feeling lost as people in their early twenties, trying to navigate a confusing and chaotic world while dealing with our own internalised issues.
We discuss where we are on our own personal journeys, how covid has intensified an already tumultuous time in our lives, and how our twenties so far have been nothing like the movies. We also question why so many people seem to have these feelings at this age, and touch on the things we've been doing to move through these often painful and challenging experiences.
Thank you so much for listening. If you enjoyed this episode, feel free to subscribe to our podcast and leave a review :)

Hello and welcome back to our second episode of Miles and Aria: A Podcast!
In this episode, we talk The Craft, Uber Eats and tarot cards. Aria goes on to give a rundown on the overturning of Roe vs Wade in the US, and its relevance to us here in Australia.
Finally, we dive head first into the topic of body hair, examining the societal norms surrounding body hair on men vs women through the lens of our own personal experiences. Miles discusses the history of black hair and how it was used to strip POC of their culture and identity, and assimilate POC into white, European culture.

Hello lovelies!
We are SO excited to release the very first content episode of our podcast!
In this week's episode, we delve into the oh-so rich topic of success. In recent years, success has become the epicentre of increasing discussions around growth, development and self-help.
In this episode, we discuss how normalised views of success in our society are often rooted in capitalism, and the ways in which these narrow understandings of success can be problematic. We go on to discuss our personal experiences with success, and how our understanding of success has changed as we've grown as individuals.
Thank you so much for listening, and stay tuned for our next episode. Feel free to reach out to us at milesandariapodcast@gmail.com.
Have a wonderful rest of your week!
