Life gets really busy sometimes. In my own world, there’s children, husband, ambition and the pursuit of seeing through what God has placed upon my heart. And whilst busy trying to make it all come together, more often than not, finding time to connect with God (and self) can be extremely challenging.
“A New Dawn” is a 15 minute devotional podcast for the one is devoted, but in a busy day filled with to-do lists, struggles to find the moment to connect with the One.
When you don't know what to say to Jesus, try having a small talk. You'd be surprised where that may lead the conversation.

We've all been holding our breath waiting to see if 2021 is even related to 2020. We've been weary to start anything with the times still being uncertain but babe, It's Time! It's time to plant again, to start again, to dream again to step out on faith again. This weeks reading comes from Romans 8:31-39 & Mark 5:36.
Today we read from Romans 8:28 and unpack what is means to value and accept this scripture.
Today we discover that the presence of God is constantly with us, ready to avail to us all the benefits that come with knowing God. I encourage you as you start this week to consider what you need from the spirit of God. Are you seeking rest, restoration, encouragement or strenght? Whatever it maybe, the presence of God is waiting for you to tab in and access all that you need.
This week Solomon schools us about how to make effective plans. We read from Proverbs 16:1-9 where we learn that it matters to God that we are honourable in our motives and that we submit all our plans to him.
Knowing the word over your life will guide you through the many twists and turns of life. In this season, I'm walking out of 2 Corinthians 5:7 "For we live by faith, not by sight." and straight into Psalm 23. On our very first episode, through unpacking this Psalm, I encourage you to seek & find the word in season over yours and your family's life. Welcome to A New Dawn!
