A music podcast where I get together with my friends to create the ultimate fantasy festival comprised of all the bands we have never been able to see live! Join us every fortnight as we add more bands to the line up!
Mat Davies, aka Malachi J Matthews, is a man of many talents; a podcaster (check out Super Tat Film Club for sure), wrestling manager and announcer, as well a former member of a punk band and DJ. Hear about how he bonded with his daughter at a festival, KISS, and how he exploits a loophole to round out the Bucket List. As you'll have heard by now, due to other commitments, this will be the final interview episode of the podcast. Thanks everyone, and will see you in a fortnight for the final curtain
Marc is former wrestler who had the amazing opportunity to see the world as part of that scene, and, as a result had influenced some of his particular tastes which show in this brief, but fun chat as Marc gives us his picks for the Bucket List Festival
Gareth, aka Garrett G-Wiz Bond, is a surprise package! A pro wrestler and personal trainer, to look at him you wouldn't expect the music taste he has, but, as always looks can be deceiving. We look at his history with Reading festival and he makes his choices for the Bucket List Festival.
Simon Heldreich is a former colleague of mine, and has, in my opinion, the premiere Genesis podcast (the band, not the Bible)! We talk keeping gig going in the family, being let down by a favourite band and more.

Mark is a podcaster who has the distinct honour of being the first to have now appeared on all 3 of my podcasts! More importantly though, Mark is a tremendous music enthusiast.
We talk his long running history with a festival institution, and how an independent record store influenced one of his choices.
Find him on Twitter @MarkAdamsHC for info on all of his podcasts.
Craig is one of the most eclectic taste people that I have ever come across!
We find out about his gig history, including a time we were at the same gig and never knew, and run down the long list of potential additions to the Bucket List Festival!

Stixx is the head trainer at the House of Pain Wrestling school and quite the music consumer! Hear all about his gig history so deep, he can only add ONE band to the Bucket List Festival! He's easily findable on the socials, and if you can, support the House of Pain Wrestling GoFundMe campaign here: https://www.gofundme.com/f/help-hop-academy-survive-covid19?utm_campaign=p_cp+share-sheet&utm_medium=copy_link_all&utm_source=customer
Laura is a woman of talent and passion. A former singer in her own right, and now a seamstress, as well as Director of Operations at House of Pain Wrestling Academy! Laura gives us her gig history as well as adding her choices to the Bucket List Festival. If you can, please consider giving to the House of Pain GoFundMe campaign to keep the place running post-pandemic and continue to be a place for Nottingham and surrounding communities to enjoy and entertain; https://www.gofundme.com/f/help-hop-academy-survive-covid19?utm_campaign=p_cp+share-sheet&utm_medium=copy_link_all&utm_source=customer Follow me on Twitter, join in the conversation and let me know your Bucket List Bands: @bucketfestpod
Carl Bryan is a music podcaster himself, and, one of the inspirations for this podcast's existence, hosting Cerebral Jukebox which I have previously guested on, as well as Red Dwarf podcast Shipwrecked & Comatose. DISCLAIMER I hadn't fully formulated the format for this at time of recording, and, as such, Carl chose bands he'd seen before but would love to see again and would fit into a festival lineup. Wasn't until editing I realised the "issue". Carl kindly offered to record again, but, I was happy with the conversation we had which is really funny and insightful, so didn't want to risk that organic feel being compromised, but, Carl will certainly be back for a Round 2! Luke Burton is a man of many talents! Former pro-wrestler, and now graphic designer. He actually designed the logos for my other two podcasts (Play Your Pods Right and When We Grow Up, check em out). Luke tells us about his gig history and makes the first official selections for the Bucket List Festival.
