In today's episode, I'm sharing some personal reflections and updates on my podcasting journey. I've been thinking a lot about the purpose of this podcast and how it aligns with my evolving interests and passions. So let's dive in and explore this evolution together!
I started this podcast in tandem with building a business that revolves around podcasting. I had this vision of teaching others how to use podcasting for their own businesses. It was all about sharing tips, tricks, and strategies. But as I've continued this journey, I found my interests shifting. I started to yearn for deeper conversations that go beyond just business how-tos. This led me to a bit of a crossroads, and I've made the decision to pause this podcast for now.
This isn't a permanent goodbye, though! I still love podcasting and the deep, meaningful dialogues it allows for. I will continue to create content and serve my community, but in a way that resonates more with my current interests and passions. I have some exciting ideas brewing, so stay tuned for what's next!
🎤 I'm pausing this podcast, but my content creation journey continues.
💡 I'm evolving beyond just business-focused content and yearning for deeper, more meaningful conversations.
🌱 I'm proud of the successes this podcast has seen, ranking in the top 5% globally and reaching number three in Australia for strategy podcasts.
📖 I've been loving my journey with 'A Course in Miracles', which I describe as fitness for the mind. It's all about cultivating a positive mindset and overcoming fear.
🔍 I'm exploring the idea of rebooting my 'Soul Deep Conversations' podcast, which aligns more with where I am right now.

Today's podcast marks the end of term and the end of this podcast season. I take you through the journey of my challenge to create a daily weekday podcast through the school term, and reveal if I've successfully crossed the finish line.
In this episode, I reflect on the challenge I set for myself at the start of the term: to create a daily podcast every weekday throughout the school term. As I wrap up this season, I can't help but beam with pride over some of the wins.
From being ranked among the top 5% of podcasts globally to reaching number 3 in the top 25 Strategy podcasts in Australia, there are many victories to celebrate!
However, it wasn't all smooth sailing. There were definitely days when I had to push myself to think harder, to find new content ideas, and to keep going even when the end seemed far away.
But, having an end date in sight was super helpful. It gave me something to work towards and helped me prove to myself that I could stick to a commitment. And yes, I did make it to the end!
Looking ahead, I'm excited about the opportunity to bring more voices into the mix by inviting guests and sharing more of their knowledge with you. I also plan to increase the repurposing of my podcast and potentially change the frequency of episodes.
Key Takeaways:
🔑 Having a clear goal and an end date in sight can be incredibly motivating.
🔑 Even when things get challenging, pushing through can lead to surprising wins.
🔑 Looking ahead, I plan to bring more voices into the mix by inviting guests onto the podcast.
🔑 Repurposing content can be a great way to reach a wider audience.
Thanks for joining me on this journey; I can't wait to see what the next season brings.
I'd love to hear your feedback on what you'd like to hear more of in future episodes.
Tune in next time!

Hello, lovely listeners! It's your podcast host, Olivia De Sousa, here.
In this episode, I delve into a topic that has been on many of your minds - starting a podcast and coming up with consistent, engaging content. Let's be honest, we've all been there, staring at the blank screen, waiting for the flood of content ideas to come in. But here's the thing, it doesn't have to be that hard.
The first step is understanding your audience. Think about who you're trying to reach, what problems they have, and how you can solve them. This might sound like marketing 101, but it's actually about understanding yourself too. Are you a passionate parent coach? A medical expert? A homeschooling guru? Your passion and expertise will guide you to your audience and the content you need to create.
Next, you need to listen to your audience. What questions are they asking? What problems are they facing? Your daily interactions with your audience can provide a wealth of content ideas. So, take a moment to reflect on your interactions and see what content ideas emerge.

Are you ready to step up, even if it means making mistakes? Welcome to this episode where we dive into the crucial concept of 'showing up and sucking before you show up and shine'.
In this candid chat, we delve into not just the importance of showing up, but embracing the initial discomfort of not being perfect. We discuss how the fear of 'sucking' often holds us back from starting new things, from podcasting to singing. But here's the thing: everyone starts somewhere, and yes, that often means starting from a place of imperfection. It's through making mistakes, learning, and persisting that we eventually shine.
I also share some personal experiences from my singing career, including an unexpected live performance in Portugal, to illustrate how things can go wrong. But also, more importantly, how these 'wrong' turns can lead to exciting, unplanned outcomes. So, ready to embrace the suck and welcome the shine? Let's dive in!

I recently had a chat with a potential client who was keen to do some podcast guesting, but she was a bit worried about…giving away all her knowledge for free. Sound familiar? We all have that fear, don't we? Well, I wanted to share our conversation and my thoughts on this very common concern. Grab a cuppa and join me!
In our conversation, my client expressed her fear of sharing her knowledge for free on other people's platforms. She worried that if she gave away all her insights, people wouldn't need to purchase her services or seek her support. I get it, really, I do. But here's the thing - in this day and age, knowledge is free. You can Google anything, ask AI anything. But support? That's not free! And that's where the real value lies.
Being a guest on someone else's podcast puts you in front of an entirely new audience, and that's incredibly valuable. You get to demonstrate your expertise and build trust with a whole new group of people. And those who resonate with your message and your values might just be the ones who need your support and are willing to pay for it. Sharing your knowledge doesn't mean you're giving away everything for free. It means you're proving your value. So go on, strut your stuff!
In this episode, we cover:
🎙 The fear of giving away knowledge for free
🎙 The value of being a guest on someone else's podcast
🎙 The difference between freely available knowledge and paid support
So, what do you reckon? Have I got you thinking?
I'd love to hear your thoughts!
Remember, you can screenshot this and tag me in your stories, and I promise I'll send you a big virtual hug and lots of positive vibes.
Until next time, take care!

How can we really squeeze the most out of our 24 hours, especially when we're steering our own businesses? I'm here to challenge the old saying, "You have the same 24 hours as Oprah" and urge you to think differently about how you spend your precious time.
Are you attempting to juggle everything on your own or are you wisely outsourcing tasks that others can handle? I share my strong belief in seeking help and how it's the secret to unlocking more time. If you're the face of your business, then creating content is a worthwhile way to use your time. But what about the rest? The mantra is delegate, delegate, delegate!
I talk about my own personal experience recently, when I had to fill in for a team member who left, reinforcing my belief in the power of teamwork and delegation. I encourage you to think more strategically and spend time on what truly matters - be it working on business strategy, spending precious moments with family, or taking care of your well-being.

Alongside this, I reflect on the role of social media platforms, particularly TikTok, in giving a voice to those on the ground and enabling the world to see the realities of the situation. The episode wraps up with some thoughts on activism and the importance of standing up for what's right.
In this episode we discuss:
🌍 The current situation in Palestine and its impact on innocent lives

Are You Giving Too Much Meaning to Things?
In this episode, I'm delving into the complex world of interpretation - how we, as humans, attach meanings to events and situations that may not inherently be good or bad. We'll talk about the concept of faith, the ability to see beyond appearances and how reframing our perspective can lead to more positive outcomes.
The conversation starts with a personal reflection on how the start of the year has panned out for me, balancing my roles as a business owner and a mum. I share some unexpected challenges that came along and how they forced me to slow down. This led me to the crux of the episode: understanding how we interpret and give meaning to life's events.
To illustrate this, I share an old tale about a farmer and his horse, a story often associated with Taoist teachings. This story serves as a reminder that events in life are not inherently good or bad; it's our perception that labels them as such. I also share a personal experience of how a seemingly negative interaction turned into a positive one, simply by changing my perspective.
Here's what we cover in this episode:
Remember, we only see a small part of the bigger picture. So, before you jump to conclusions, take a moment to reframe your perspective. It might just change the outcome! As always, drop me a line if you have podcasting questions, thoughts on business, entrepreneurship, or life in general. Your questions and ideas are always welcome!

Welcome to another episode where we dive deep into the power and importance of faith. 🎧✨
This episode is all about one of my favourite topics - faith. It's not about denying our problems or pretending they don't exist. It's about seeing beyond them and acknowledging that there's always an answer. Faith isn't just about believing in something, it's a deep-rooted knowledge and inner guidance that helps us move forward, even when things don't go as planned.
I share some inspiring stories from the likes of Marianne Williamson and Gary Vee, both of whom have shown incredible faith on their paths to success. We also explore the idea of 'absorbing the loss', a powerful mantra from Marianne that can help us keep the faith when setbacks occur. Plus, we discuss the concept of shared faith and how coming together to foster shared hopes and dreams can make anything possible.
In this episode, we delve into:
As always, I'm here to join with you and share my faith in you. Don't miss out on a special treat in this episode - a link to a motivating visualization that I've recorded. You can find it in the show notes.
Let's continue the conversation! I'd love to hear your thoughts on faith and how it shows up in your life. Drop a comment below (if you're on YouTube) or send me an email. And, of course, don't forget to like, subscribe, and share this episode with your friends. 💌

In this episode, we're diving deep into dealing with nerves and fears that might be holding you back from creating your own podcast or pursuing other big dreams. If you've got that nagging feeling in the back of your mind, listen up! This one is definitely for you.
We all know that feeling of nerves and fear, right? It’s like a barrier stopping you from achieving your goals. But remember, feeling nervous is a sign that you really want to do it! I'm sharing my thoughts on how to overcome these feelings, and why it’s important to step out of your comfort zone. Trust me, the feeling of accomplishment is way better than the regret of not doing it.
In this episode, I also touch on the topic of fear. The acronym FEAR stands for False Evidence Appearing Real, and it's often our ego that's behind it. We worry too much about what others think of us, but remember, most of those thoughts are just stories in our heads. It's time to kick those fears to the curb and start living fully!
In this episode we chat about:
🎤 How the feeling of nervousness indicates you really want to pursue your dreams
🎤 Why doing something you're nervous about is better than being paralysed by fear
🎤 The acronym FEAR and how our ego can hold us back
🎤 The importance of not letting negative opinions deter you from your goals
🎤 The need to be authentic and help the people you're meant to help
Remember, if you're feeling stuck, listen to my song 'Messenger' or try the visualisation version where I guide you through the whole process.
You can also find EFT tapping resources on YouTube.
And as always, I'd love to hear from you - drop me a comment or send me a DM on Instagram. Let's chat about your podcasting dreams or life in general. Can't wait to hear from you and see you in the next episode!

Are you making it easy or hard for people to become your client? In this episode, we're talking all about the KISS principle - Keep It Simple, Stupid! We're diving into the importance of removing barriers and simplifying processes to help you connect better with your potential clients or collaborators.
In my recent experience of getting podcasting gigs for clients, I've discovered the importance of keeping processes as simple as possible. The more hurdles you put in front of people, the higher your drop-off rate of success is going to be. This revelation got me thinking about all the forms and processes we have in our businesses; do we need them all? Can we simplify them?
For example, I came across a podcast looking for guests. My client fit the bill, so I went to fill out the form. It was a long one. I committed and went through it, but I couldn't help but think of how many potential guests would drop off because of the length of the form. This made me consider how we can apply this thinking to all areas of our businesses.

Have you ever thought about the power of community and how it can contribute to your success? In this episode, I'll be sharing my insights drawn from personal experiences and observations of successful personalities like Gary Vee and Taylor Swift.
I kick things off with an intriguing analogy about not 'having sex on the first date' (no judgement if you do!)
What I mean is, just like in relationships, building an audience, potential clients, supporters and followers is an integral part of your business.
You're co-creating together, so it's essential to take the time to nurture this relationship.
Drawing from my experiences as a singer, I share how I learned to understand and read my audience's needs and priorities.
You see, your audience is part of the show (or business), using the example of Taylor Swift's concerts. I highlight how personalities like Taylor Swift and Gary Vee understand the significance of forming a connection with their audience and giving individual attention. Further, I discuss the concept of 'priming' your audience and how it can make a massive difference in delivering your best.

Hey there! In this podcast, I share my insightful experience diving into the audio book "Crush It" by Gary Vaynerchuk, also known as Gary Vee. This book confirmed so many things I already thought about him and I've come away with so many takeaways. I’ve even spotted a few parallels between Gary Vee and Taylor Swift when it comes to marketing tactics and community building. Intriguing, right? Let's unpack this together!
I’ve always admired Gary Vee for his genuine, relatable content and his incredible business sense. One thing I noticed during my listen was how his mannerisms and energy hinted at him having ADHD. This isn’t a diagnosis, mind you, but it does explain his unique approach to things. It's fascinating to see how what could be seen as a limitation becomes a superpower, helping him focus on what truly matters.
In his book, Gary Vee emphasises passion and authenticity, and how these are interlinked with your intuition. He also talks about the importance of building a personal brand and creating a strong, engaging community. He advocates for following your interests and using that to create content that attracts attention, which in turn can be monetised. It's a long-term game, but it’s based on staying true to who you are and following that inner guidance system.
🔑 Key Takeaways:
🎧 Gary Vee's audio book "Crush It" is a quick, engaging and practical listen. 🔮 His belief in intuition and passion as guiding forces in business and personal growth. 📚 The importance of building a personal brand and creating a community. 👀 How attention can be monetised and turned into opportunities. 💡 The need for patience and persistence – success doesn't happen overnight.
Although the book was written back in 2009, so much of what Gary Vee mentioned has proven true today, especially about the shift of advertising dollars to social media and the internet. If you're keen to dive into this book, you can listen to it for free on Spotify if you have a premium account. Tune in to hear more of my thoughts on this and let me know what you think!
Stay tuned for a future episode where I'll delve deeper into the concept of community and connection, which Gary Vee also touches on in his book. As always, if you've found this episode helpful, feel free to share it. See you in the next one!

Ready to unravel the simplicity of life? In today's episode, I'm taking you on a journey about how a book shaped my world view and left a lasting impact on my life.
In this episode, I share my connection with the renowned author Anita Moorjani and her enriching book 'Dying to be Me.' I delve into how this book, which I stumbled upon in the early 2000s, became a significant part of my life. From Anita's eloquent voice to her profound insights, this book has not only been a source of enjoyment but also a guide, reshaping the way I understand the world.
I talk about Anita's life story—from her cultural clash being an Indian in Hong Kong to her battle with cancer and the near-death experience that gave her a fresh lens to view life. I share how her perspective on ego and authenticity resonated with me and how she inspired me to live life fearlessly. Plus, hear about my personal interaction with Anita herself.

Hey there podcast listeners! If you're already familiar with this, feel free to tune in to another episode. But if you've been curious about how to access these interactive features, stick around!
To get the engagement feature on Spotify, you need to claim your podcast on their platform. It's different from just having your RSS feed available on Spotify. If you encounter any issues, there's a helpful chat box on the side to assist you.
Once you've claimed your podcast, go to the catalog section and click on the Interact tab. There you'll find the engagement features, which are automatically set for new episodes. If you want the features to appear on your previous episodes, you can manually add them. This is a great way to boost interaction with your audience and make your podcast even more engaging!

Hey there, magnetic mates! It's Olivia here, and I'm back with another episode of Magnetic Pod.
In today's episode, titled "You Can't Polish a Turd...Or Can You?", we delve into a saying that we've all heard - that you can't polish a turd. But, have you ever wondered if there's any truth to that? Well, I recently listened to a story that challenged that notion and showed that sometimes, there's value in the things that nobody else wants.
I stumbled upon an interview with Grant Denyer, a well-known Australian celebrity, and his story truly fascinated me. Growing up, he faced challenging circumstances and believed that his learning disabilities would prevent him from achieving success through traditional means. However, he had a passion for racing cars and saw fame as a way to secure sponsors. Determined to make it, he took unconventional paths and seized opportunities that nobody else wanted. Through his resilience and creativity, he ultimately paved the way for a groundbreaking format in television entertainment.
In this episode, I share my key takeaways from Grant's story and explore the idea that sometimes the most overlooked opportunities can lead to unexpected success.
We discuss:
Grant's journey from volunteering and doing the jobs nobody else wanted to securing a gig as a journalist.
How the opportunity that nobody wanted at the Royal Easter Show became a turning point for Grant.
The importance of being open to unconventional paths and seeing opportunities where others might not.
How Grant's determination and unique approach led him to create a successful career in television.
If you're feeling stuck or unsure about your own path, Grant's story serves as a reminder to look beyond the obvious and consider the hidden opportunities that may be right in front of you. You never know what could come out of polishing a turd!
If you're intrigued and want to hear the full story, I highly recommend checking out the interview with Grant Denyer. You'll be inspired by his journey and the valuable lessons he has learned along the way.
Until next time, stay magnetic!

In this episode, I chat about the importance of trusting your own intuition in decision making and the dangers of putting others on a pedestal.

The danger of idolizing and blindly following "gurus" or successful individuals without using your own discernment.
The value of listening and learning from everyone you encounter, regardless of their status or background.
How to run information through your internal guidance system and trust your instincts.
The reminder to back yourself and make decisions based on what resonates with your heart and gut.

Hey there, welcome back to Magnetic Pod! I'm Olivia, your host, and today's episode is all about the business and life lessons we can learn from our toddlers. Trust me, there's something truly magical about those toddler years, and I've witnessed it firsthand with my own children.
Before our kids head off to school, those first few years are incredibly precious. And wouldn't it be amazing if we could hold onto the incredible qualities our toddlers possess forever? As we get older, we learn stuff, but not all of it is good. We often need to unlearn the negative and reconnect with our own strengths.

In my last episode, we talked about trigger warnings, but today we're going to focus on something a bit more uplifting - glimmer warnings.
We've all been there, feeling down and grumpy, or worse, triggered by something. But what if we could shift our focus to notice the little things that bring us joy? That's where the idea of glimmers comes in. Glimmers are those tiny moments of beauty and wonder that we often overlook, but can be a source of happiness and appreciation if we take the time to notice them.
In this episode, I share some of my favourite glimmers and how they have inspired me. I talk about the importance of gratitude (or appreciation, if you prefer) and how it can lead to a happier and more fulfilling life. I also share a song I wrote called "Everyday Ordinary Things" which is all about noticing the small things that make life special.
The truth is, we often take the ordinary for granted. But when we stop and pay attention, we realise how extraordinary those things really are. From the beauty of a yellow daisy to the miracle of a bird in flight, there is wonder all around us if we only take the time to notice.
So, what are your glimmers? I'd love to hear from you! Please comment and let me know via my socials or email (details below).
And don't forget to listen to "Everyday Ordinary Things" and my other music on Spotify and Apple.
Remember, finding joy in the everyday is all about noticing the glimmers. So take a moment, appreciate the small things, and let happiness find you.
Until next time, Olivia

Imagine you're crafting some fantastic content (as you do) and you stumble upon a topic that might be touchy for some. Do you slap on a trigger warning? Or let it ride? This was the big question of the day in this episode.
The Real Deal with Triggers
Now, here's the thing. Our everyday lingo tosses around the word 'trigger' quite a bit. The expectation in some corners has become that anything potentially upsetting should be flagged as a ‘trigger’.
Dr Emily recently discussed this issue on an episode of ‘The Imperfects’.
It turns out, in the professional world, a trigger isn't just about getting upset. It's way deeper, linked with traumatic flashbacks for people with PTSD. It’s not about having an upsetting memory. It’s about reliving the trauma in your mind and body and not being able to tell that it’s not really happening now.
However, Dr Emily said that the research does not show that trigger warnings and avoidance doesn’t actually help. But exposure, in a caring environment, does.
Finding That Sweet Spot
So, here's where my brain's been at: instead of strictly sticking to the term "trigger warning", maybe we just give our lovely listeners a sneak-peek of the content? It's kinda like, "Hey, here's what's coming up! Feel like diving in?" This way, they can decide if they’re in the mood for it.
All About the Heart ❤️
For all my fellow content creators out there, isn't it all about the heart behind what we do? I genuinely believe that if we come from a place of love, respect, and genuine care for our audience, they'll feel it. As I mentioned on my pod: "I care about you". And I truly do.
Let's Keep Chatting!
I'd absolutely love to hear your thoughts on this! How do you handle sensitive topics in your content? How do you make sure your listeners or readers feel respected and cared for? Hit me up in the comments or slide into my DMs.
Oh, and a little teaser – the next episode of 'Magnetic Pod' is all about 'glimmers'. Yep, those little things that light up our lives. Can't wait to share it with you!
Sending out all the good vibes,
Olivia 🌼🎙️

In today's fast-paced world, it's easy to get caught up in the rat race and lose sight of what truly brings us joy and fulfilment. That's where Penny Locaso comes in. As a coach, TEDx speaker, and author of Hacking Happiness, Penny shares her journey of transformation and her mission to help 10 million people flourish by 2025. 🌟
Penny's own journey began with a transformative decision to leave her successful corporate career, end an 18-year relationship, and start her own purpose-driven company. This decision was driven by her realisation that despite achieving conventional success, she felt unfulfilled and disconnected from the present moment. It was her wake-up call when her young son expressed that he was too busy to spend time with her that prompted her to embark on a journey of self-discovery and transformation. 🌺
Through her journey, Penny realised that human connection, being present in the moment, and positively impacting the lives of others brought her joy and meaning in life. These insights became the compass guiding her towards her new purpose, which is to help others define flourishing on their terms and integrate psychological skills to lead fulfilling lives. 🌈
One topic we delved into was the subject of "The Angry Woman". Penny shed light on the suppressed anger that many women experience, stemming from not feeling valued or heard. Society's conditioning often encourages women to suppress anger, leading to its misdirected and misguided expression. Penny emphasised the importance of acknowledging and processing anger in constructive ways, including self-reflection and open conversations with the people involved. 😠😊
A key theme that emerged was the significance of embracing all emotions, not just happiness. Penny emphasised that emo-diversity, allowing ourselves to feel and process various emotions, is essential for overall well-being and flourishing. Suppressing emotions can lead to an internal pressure cooker effect, resulting in unexpected and uncontrolled emotional outbursts. 😌😭😡
Penny encouraged listeners to create the space to explore their emotions, especially anger, without judgement. This practice of self-compassion enables individuals to understand their triggers, communicate openly, and take proactive steps to reduce triggers and promote healthier emotional responses. 🙏
Flourishing is a way of being, according to Penny. It involves meaningful connections, positive impacts on others, and living in alignment with personal values. Penny shared her own daily practices, such as movement, meditation, journaling, and spending quality time with her son, that contribute to her sense of flourishing. 🌺🧘📝👩👦
Finally, Penny left us with a powerful message about the importance of self-compassion. She urged listeners to explore what compassion means to them and to extend that compassion towards themselves daily. Cultivating self-compassion allows individuals to break free from feelings of inadequacy and truly embrace their journey to flourishing. ❤️
If you want to learn more about Penny and her work, you can find her on her website HackingHappy.co or connect with her on LinkedIn. I encourage you to listen to her podcast, "The Hacking Happiness Podcast," for more valuable insights. 🎧
Remember, it's okay to have diverse emotions and to allow ourselves to flourish in our own unique ways.

You know those days when you just don't feel like showing up? Yeah, we all have them. As a business owner, being present online is crucial, but there are times when life's challenges or imposter syndrome can make it feel like an uphill battle.
Recently, I experienced one of those days. I'll be honest; I wasn't feeling my best, and the idea of recording a podcast episode felt daunting. But it got me thinking, am I the only one who feels like this sometimes? I quickly realized I wasn't alone. This realization led me to record a podcast episode about the value of not being perfect in our online presence.
Authenticity is key, and there's tremendous value in showing up even when we're not at our best. Now, I'm not suggesting we turn our online platforms into whinge fests, but rather, view our commitment as a challenge to ourselves. By doing so, we can find the positives even on challenging days.
As entrepreneurs, we must be self-led, although that doesn't mean we have to do everything on our own. Seeking support and guidance is essential, but our journey is also about mindset work and self-discovery. Showing up for ourselves, as well as our audience, is vital.
During my podcast interviews and conversations with fellow entrepreneurs, a recurring theme emerged—the power of sharing from a place of imperfection. The pressure to be flawless, especially on social media, is fading. Instead, we embrace a more balanced approach, showing our real selves while maintaining boundaries on what's too personal for public sharing.
One of my interviewees, Suzanne Culberg, commits to doing podcasts every single day, sharing her imperfections and vulnerabilities. This resonated deeply with me. Another client, Anna Hastie, often shares her own struggles and fears in her podcast, connecting authentically with her audience.
Swapna Thomas, another fellow podcaster, once said, "Share from your scars, not your wounds." It means we don't have to be completely transparent, but we can share our journeys and challenges after we've gained insights from them.
So, how do we show up when we're not feeling our shiny best? It all starts with taking action. Negative thoughts can paralyze us, but by taking action, we create movement and shift our energy and perspective.
I recently had a podcast interview with Vicki Main, who asked me what scares me. It made me realize that the fear of not being perfect in all things podcasting sometimes hinders me. But perfection is a myth, and aiming for it limits our growth. Embracing imperfection allows us to keep evolving and getting better without judging our previous efforts.
In this journey of entrepreneurship, it's essential to be kind to ourselves, embracing both our ups and downs. And don't forget to talk to someone if you need to; seeking support is a sign of strength, not weakness.
Consistency is crucial, but what's even more important is our mental, emotional, and physical well-being. Treating showing up online as we do with exercise can be helpful. Even if we miss a day, it doesn't mean we've failed; it means we're human. Just like we don't skip exercising altogether because we missed one day, we shouldn't berate ourselves for not showing up perfectly every time.
So, let's strive to be our authentic selves, embracing imperfection as an opportunity for growth and connection. Remember, every step in the journey is a form of perfection. Keep

Hey there, fellow entrepreneurs! Welcome to another episode of Magnetic Pod. Today we're pulling back the curtain on the world of podcast monetization and audience growth.
Yes, you heard it right! Ever wondered how you can make money from your podcast and attract more downloads for potential sponsorship? We're breaking it all down in this episode.
Now, I have to be honest - there's good news and bad news. The bad news first (it's not so bad, really): growing a podcast takes time and consistent effort. There's no magic pill that'll skyrocket your podcast to stardom overnight - unless you've got a fat stack of cash or a Spotify deal like Meghan Markle.
But here's the good news: it's an exciting journey, and you don't need a mega audience to start earning from your podcast!
On this journey, I'll be discussing real strategies and tips, sharing some of my own experiences and helping you navigate around the bumps in the road.
We'll dig into how to create engaging content that resonates with your audience, attract the right people, and warm them up for your offerings. We'll also delve into how you can monetize through affiliate links, Patreon, memberships, and even merchandise.
Also, you’ll learn about the powerful tool of dynamic content with platforms like Buzzsprout, how you can grow your audience, convert them to your email list, and let them know what your offers are.
Remember, podcasting is a tool for networking too! It can be an excellent opportunity to expand your network, establish relationships, and collaborate with other industry leaders.
I've said it before and I'll say it again - your podcast can serve as a platform to address the fears, objections, and reservations your prospective customers might have, all while providing value.
Despite the ADHD-induced meandering, I hope you find this episode useful in understanding how to monetize your podcast and reach your business goals. Remember, your podcast is an asset that works for you, and with a little time and consistency, you'll see it pay off.
I'd love to hear your thoughts and questions, so feel free to reach out at livvimusicmedia.com
Until next time, keep broadcasting your brilliance. Bye!

Hey there! It's Olivia, and I'm excited to talk to you about turning your podcast into a content creation machine. Are you tired of feeling overwhelmed by the constant need to create new content? I know I was, which is why I'm here to share my secrets with you.
First off, I recommend recording your podcast as a video, if possible. But, remember to always do what works best for you! Video recordings give you more options for repurposing your content, so if you're comfortable on camera, go for it.
I've been repurposing content for years, starting with a service called Shine Online, where I would interview someone or use existing video content and cut it up into smaller pieces that could last for a month or more. From there, I found so much gold in the content - quotes, social media posts, carousels, and more. The best part? You don't have to be an expert in creating content to do it! When you interview someone, it draws the best out of them, and that's the kind of content that resonates with people.
Podcasting is a great way to create cornerstone content that's evergreen, meaning it stays relevant for a long time. Once you record your podcast, you can edit it to remove any unnecessary pauses or mistakes, then get a transcript of the audio. From there, you can use the transcript to create social media posts, written blog content, and more.
There are even AI options like ChatGPT that can help you generate show notes, blog posts, and social media posts quickly and easily. Just remember to always review the content and add your own voice to it.
If you're interested in turning your podcast into a content marketing machine but don't know where to start, don't worry! I offer services that can help you with copywriting and being your secret weapon online. Just DM me on Instagram at @LivviMusicMedia if you have any questions or want to learn more.

**What if you could be so connected to your truth that you could deliver your message in a podcast WITHOUT NOTES?
Meet Rebecca Wilson, an incredible woman who is deeply passionate about feminine energy, embodiment, and helping others embrace their unique voices and create meaningful connections.
In this conversation, we explore the transformative power of podcasting and how it has helped Rebecca anchor into her body and wisdom.
She shared how she trusts her intuition and allows things to flow naturally when recording her podcast, which is a beautiful reflection of her approach to feminine energy and embodiment.
Incredibly, she has never listened to her own recordings, leaving it to her amazing team (that's me!) to ensure everything is perfect.
Rebecca also shared her journey to podcasting, revealing that for years she felt a nudge to start one but didn't feel ready. It was only when the timing felt right and she truly embraced her unique way of communicating and connection to her body that her podcast came to life.
We also delved into the exciting mentorship and mastermind program that she has coming up. This six-month program is designed for women who want to level up in life, relationships, leadership, and creation. By combining group calls and individual sessions, the program offers a comprehensive and powerful experience rooted in feminine energy and embodiment.
In addition, we talked about The Village, a monthly community membership for women who want to dive deep into their feminine energy and connect with their bodies and wombs. This incredible community offers live ceremonies, access to courses, and recorded practices for members.
Our conversation was truly inspiring, and I can't thank Rebecca enough for sharing her wisdom and experiences with us. Her unique approach to storytelling through podcasting is a testament to the power of connecting with one's body and embracing feminine energy. I hope you enjoy listening to this episode as much as I enjoyed recording it. So, without further ado, let's dive into today's amazing conversation!

In this podcast episode, we're diving into the so-called TikTok ban, or Restrict Act, happening in the USA. If you're a social media creator, especially on TikTok or Meta platforms like Facebook and Instagram, you'll want to pay close attention, because there are major developments happening and some new big 'new adopter' opportunities unfolding right now!
First, we discuss the impact of TikTok on social media and how it's changed the game for creators by simplifying the process and focusing on users' interests. We also touch on the constant changes Instagram has been going through, making it difficult for creators to keep up.
As I share my skepticism about the TikTok ban and its relation to safety or national security, I also express my concerns about the very real dangers of social media and the internet in general. It's important for parents to be aware and proactive about their children's online safety.
In light of the TikTok ban, I discuss the importance of diversifying your online presence and not putting all your eggs in one basket. Building your email list and creating podcasts are valuable ways to ensure you have a backup plan. The current opportunities lie in video podcasts on YouTube, YouTube shorts, and a new platform called Clapper.
Tune in to learn more about these opportunities, and don't forget to subscribe to stay updated with the latest tips and information to help you thrive in business and life. That's exactly what happened to me in 2022. I believe that by sharing stories, we recognize ourselves in each other's experiences and it can be incredibly helpful.
So that’s what I’m doing.
In this podcast episode I share about my business and personal journey, discovering that I have ADHD and how it made me understand myself more.
A fellow ADHD friend, who knew I had it before I did, said she knew because one of the tell-tale signs was the fact that, ‘In the time I’ve known you, you’ve changed directions in your business more often that most people do in their whole life!’.
This understanding of how I tick means I now plan in a way that takes into account understanding how I work, rather than fighting it.

If you have a podcast, there are possible legal implications to consider things like will the guests change their mind about allowing you to publish what you've published?
Will they want it taken down at a later date?
Will somebody put a claim on your podcast name?
Will there be a dispute with the sponsor over the terms you've struck with them?
Make sure you understand these issues and cover yourself.
In this episode, you will learn so much today from our guest, Emma Houston, who is a lawyer who runs The Remote Expert.
Remember, all advice is general in nature, and you should consult a professional directly for your situation.

For the first half of 2022, due to personal events, Tina and her husband Mark Harris were unable to work.
