SEASON 2 EPISODE 1!!!! Jimmy G

In this episode of Shop Talk Studio, I got to sit down with a really great friend of mine. Jimmy and I spoke about some of our experiences in recovery, and sobriety. Talked about some of the holes in some fellowships. We discussed some of the changes that need to be made towards the current attitude and approach to recovery and transitional living. Also, some of the new projects him and some fellows have in the works that are incredibly exciting. He is always candid, and I very much enjoyed the conversation. Especially as we breached some topics that people seem to have a hard time discussing openly. I can’t wait to have Jimmy back on. I hope you enjoy the episode and please like it, share it, and pass it around.

I’m super pumped to bring you guys the season 1 finale of Shop Talk Studio! What a way to end with Brett. Brett and I spoke about a wide range of issues. Let me start with saying it was an absolute pleasure to sit down with Brett, he’s thoughtful and aware with the way he speaks about issues that are often divisive and polarizing. Brett daylights as a an Outsource CFO (Financial Consultant). We discussed his experiences in recovery, suboxone and some of the positions on it, discussed social issues, and corporate welfare. It was honestly one of the most enjoyable conversations I’ve had. I hope you find something to change your perspective and shift the way you see some things. What a way to end the first season!

On episode 7 of Shop Talk Studio, I sit down with Cassie Bruscato, owner of CrossFit Chivalry & NELA Macros. Cassie has been active in the community through fitness and church for several years. I wanted to talk with Cassie as not only she’s the owner of my home gym, but she also has built a truly breathtaking community at CrossFit Chivalry. In this episode, we goof off a little bit about the coaches, and talk about some of the steps her and the team at Chivalry had to take to preserve her community through Covid-19 and other obstacles. I can’t wait to see what else is in store further down the road. For now, please enjoy the episode and show CrossFit Chivalry some love, as they are truly an inspiration.

Got right into it with Terri B, we had started talking well before the recording, I didn't want to miss out on any of the conversation so we hit record and got after it! Terri is a wife and mother, she owns and operates several recovery homes in our area. Some of her personal experience and perspective may help someone out there struggling with spirituality and recovery. Her experience and knowledge in regards to recovery homes and halfway houses is invaluable. She is a dear friend of mine and it was awesome of her to come and sit down.
