Welcome to the Latter-day Freemen podcast, a podcast dedicated to building a movement of latter-day saints united in defense of the principles of freedom and our inspired Constitution.
President Biden announced last week that he would be instructing the CDC to extend the Trump administration's eviction moratorium that was implemented in March of 2020 due to Covid 19. This move has been hailed as a showing of progressive bravery by many on the Left and condemned by many on the Right. But what are the principles and constitutional issues at play? The Latter-day Freemen delve into this important issue from the perspective of the pillars of America and then discuss the constitutionality of this move by Biden.

Government officials, pundits, and concerned citizens throughout the country are debating mandating vaccines to combat Covid 19, but would these policies be in harmony with the pillars of individual liberty and limited government? On this week's episode, the Latter-day Freemen discuss vaccine mandates from the perspective of the pillars of America, the different interests at play, and how latter-day saints can navigate this debate.

In this week's episode of the Latter-day Freemen Podcast, the Latter-day Freemen are joined by Aaron Bullen of Pro-Life Utah to discuss the issue of abortion. With Aaron, the Latter-day Freemen discuss the gospel perspective on the issue of abortion, responses to common pro-abortion arguments, and what we can we do to reduce the number of abortions in our county. We hope this discussion aids you in your defense of life.
**Abortion is a very broad topic. In this discussion we did not have time to touch on pregnancies due to rape, incest, and instances where the health of the mother is at risk. We hope our thoughts aid you as you hold meaningful discussions on this contentious topic and help you stand for life.
What have the scriptures, prophets, and inspired individuals taught about the proper role of government? On this week's episode, the Latter-day Freemen discuss the inspired role of government and what we can do as citizens to keep it limited to its inspired role.
