Welcome to the final podcast of the semester. It's been a fun ride but I'm on to bigger things (these things are yet unknown to me but I'm staying positive). We are covering the Lowndes County Library's edible book fair with Calvin Richey, the West Point Humane Society with Cody Blaszczak, and the Taylor Swift concert in Atlanta! No special guest this week but we're going to be exploring Taylor Swift's mass appeal and the fruits of her illustrious career. Thank you for listening.
Welcome back to the Take 30 Pod! This week we are going to be talking about the Old Main Music Festival and the TK Martin Center. Our special guest this week is Bob Swanson, science professor at MSU by day and educational childrens' performer, also by day.
Welcome back! This week is a doozy. We are jumping all over from campus to Columbus to every invasive plant species in the great state of Mississippi. I do not recommend headphones for this episode as there is some audio clipping in the second interview but stick around for a fun game of would-I-survive.
This week is a little different. We recap two of this week's top stories with reporter Phoebe Florian. Some sensitive material toward the beginning of the show. Our special guest this week is fine arts student Chloe Ruggerio and her many strong opinions on AI art. If you've been confused about what AI art is, does, and what it means for the future of digital art, this is the episode for you. Welcome to the Take 30 Pod.
Last Friday we talked about wandering onto an army base, pageants, and a puppet possessed by the devil. Welcome to the Take 30 Pod.
This episode is for the animal lovers, everyone celebrating Women's Month, and that special kind of person who is interested in college improv.
The class of 2023 is celebrating with class rings, Mayor Spruill paid the College Democrats a visit, and MSU is celebrating Women's History Month with open discussions about women's health and community. This is the Take 30 pod.
Music and politics and theatre oh my! Welcome to the Take 30 afterparty. We had a little issue with exporting this week so you get a lovely black screen to keep you company. See you next Monday!
I interviewed two of our reporters this week about MSU's Science Night at the Museum and the upcoming Duke Deuce show at Rick's. I also had a conversation with the Director of the Starkville Area Arts Council about the new opportunities her organization is providing local artists.
