A husband and wife tell stories of their life as parents of 3 kids, pastors of a church in Richmond, VA, and as endlessly curious students of Jesus. Each episode involves Megan and Drew talking their way through the message that they plan to share with their faith community this week.
But it is an excellent "go to" for learning important lessons about life and the world and history and whatever else...
Sometimes we have to let some old things go in order to pick up new things that could actually help us in our faith.
The title of this one really says it all. Aren't those the same thing? Well, no. Not even close.
After a few months of radio silence, we're back and ready to jump into so fun (and hopefully helpful) conversations about WHAT THE BIBLE ACTUALLY IS and what we could actually be doing with that relic of history sitting on your coffee table with your name engraved on it.
Using HELL as a threat to “convert” people to faith in Jesus for salvation is an incredibly problematic sales tactic. And it might just be irreconcilable with Jesus.
Well we finally did it. We finally admitted what most people have suspected about us all along. We don't think there's an eternal volcano where most humans get tortured by God for all of eternity.
Much like when peanut butter meets chocolate, when the people of Jesus do what he's taught and commissioned us to do we experience and create HEAVEN ON EARTH.
