Fight Oppression
I hate oppression. Oppression comes in many forms. Racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia, and classism are some common ones that come to mind. All of these oppressions have one thing in common though – they have no basis in reality. People don't choose to be racist, sexist, homophobic, and transphobic; they are born this way.
There is nothing we can do about it. There is no way we can possibly change the way people were born. So the only thing oppression's victims can do is fight against it.
Every day I get to hear more and more stories of how people are being oppressed around the world. They are told they are worthless, they are told they are "less than". This is not okay. Not anymore.
There are many different ways you can help fight oppression. One way you can fight oppression is by spreading the word about how bad oppression is. Spreading the word about how bad oppression can be one of the best ways to fight it. In fact, you could argue that spreading the word is one of the most important ways to fight oppression.
In short, I fight oppression with my actions every day and will continue to do so until the world is a better place for everyone.
Which is why I chose this song, a part of the lyrics said "anybody wey wan fight you, let them come they already know. I'll be right beside you like the wall of Jericho" it means that I'll fight against every means of oppression against my girlfriend/partner.

Lucha contra la opresión.
Odio la opresión. La opresión viene en muchas formas. El racismo, el sexismo, la homofobia, la transfobia y el clasismo son algunos de los más comunes que me vienen a la mente. Sin embargo, todas estas opresiones tienen una cosa en común: no tienen ninguna base en la realidad. Las personas no eligen ser racistas, sexistas, homofóbicas y transfóbicas; nacen de esta manera.
No hay nada que podamos hacer al respecto. No hay forma de que podamos cambiar la forma en que nacieron las personas. Así que lo único que pueden hacer las víctimas de la opresión es luchar contra ella.
Todos los días escucho más y más historias de cómo las personas están siendo oprimidas en todo el mundo. Se les dice que no valen nada, se les dice que son "menos que". Esto no esta bien. Ya no.
Hay muchas maneras diferentes de ayudar a combatir la opresión. Una forma de luchar contra la opresión es correr la voz sobre lo mala que es la opresión. Correr la voz sobre cuán mala opresión puede ser una de las mejores formas de combatirla. De hecho, se podría argumentar que correr la voz es una de las formas más importantes de luchar contra la opresión.
En resumen, lucho contra la opresión con mis acciones todos los días y continuaré haciéndolo hasta que el mundo sea un lugar mejor para todos.
Por eso elegí esta canción, una parte de la letra decía "cualquiera que quiera pelear contigo, déjalos venir, ya lo saben. Estaré justo a tu lado como el muro de Jericó" significa que pelearé contra todo medio de opresión contra mi novia/pareja.

Forgiveness
One of the most important thing in the world is to forgive and be forgiven.
Forgiveness is the key to happiness. We can never forgive unless we know how to forgive, and we can't know how to forgive unless we have been forgiven. Forgiveness is all about love, when we forgive those who sin against us, it frees our mind and spirit from the burden of resentment, it frees our heart from the burden of anger, it frees our body from the burden of hate and it also frees our conscience from the burden of guilt.
A by-product of forgiveness is that you not only become happy but you also ensure that your happiness increases every day. If you have unforgiveness in your heart and mind, your happiness will decrease every day.
There is no need to continue hurting yourself or others over past hurts and mistakes. Just forgive everyone who has hurt you, or mistreated you. The moment you do this your life will start improving in every way possible.

El perdón es la clave de la felicidad. Nunca podemos perdonar a menos que sepamos cómo perdonar, y no podemos saber cómo perdonar a menos que hayamos sido perdonados. El perdón tiene que ver con el amor, cuando perdonamos a los que pecan contra nosotros, libera nuestra mente y espíritu de la carga del resentimiento, libera nuestro corazón de la carga de la ira, libera nuestro cuerpo de la carga del odio y también libera nuestra conciencia del peso de la culpa.

Countries, pride, love for one's country is something that binds the world.
Every country has her own national anthem, National flag, and other National symbols. My country Nigeria, has her own anthem too which speaks about the labor of our heroes past and how we should be a good ambassador of the country.
When a country is bound by any such symbol, the people belonging to that country feel that they are part of something bigger than themselves.
It is this feeling which makes us rise above their personal greed and start thinking about the greater good of their nation.
Take Me Home, Country Roads was written by john Denver. The song is all about the beautiful state of West Virginia. The tune is raggae which is usually what comes to mind when one hears country music. I really like this song. It's message always resonated with me. This song is about travel and all roads lead to home.
I was recently in my hometown and I had a chance to witness the roads where I spent most of my childhood and teenage years. They look nothing like the roads I imagined as a child, they are full of potholes, broken bridges and no one dares drive on them after dark.
The houses look the same but the farmers and their families that used to live on these roads have all gone to the cities for work or moved abroad. Even the cows, cattle and goats that used to make these roads home have disappeared. In their place are machinery from international companies that have set up factories on these lands. All in all they are hardly recognizable.

God is so faithful to me. I'm so proud and thankful that God has never left me on alone. He loves me, forgives me and cares for me. He gives me a chance in this world to succeed and I want to let the world know how lucky I am to have him in my life.

When heartbreak strikes, it can be a very bad experience. It can be really really really really hard. And then it kills you inside, it either affects you physically or emotionally. Sometimes you feel like you've never felt that bad before and sometimes you just feel like you'll never get over it.
I've been hurt before. Several months ago, I found out that my girlfriend was cheating on me. I couldn't believe it. I didn't think she would ever do that to me. I had to take a step back and think about what I did wrong. Was it something I said? Did I do something to make her cheat on me? The list of questions went on and on, but all the answers were in one place, my own mind.
Although I've tried to heal myself and forget about what had happened, sometimes I'm confronted with the person I once loved and I'm filled with so much emotions that it feels like I'm going to explode. It hurts me so much to see them and knowing they are with someone else while they used to be mine makes me feel so empty and empty.
The pain wasn't physical, but mentally it was agonizing. It took me a few days until I was able to get my mind under control, I didn't talk to anyone about the situation because they wouldn't understand it until they go through it. It took some time, but today I can look back at the situation and laugh at how weak minded and little I actually was.
Break ups are not only sad but they can also take a toll on one's mental health. Sometimes these heartbreak can lead to depression.
Therefore, it's always important to learn how to let go and move on when heartbreak sets in by recognizing the fact that you are broken-hearted for now but life goes on so put your faith in God, move on and never give up.

Cuando llega la angustia, puede ser una experiencia muy mala. Puede ser muy, muy, muy, muy difícil. Y luego te mata por dentro, te afecta física o emocionalmente. A veces sientes que nunca antes te habías sentido tan mal y otras veces sientes que nunca lo superarás.
Me han lastimado antes. Hace varios meses, descubrí que mi novia me estaba engañando. No podía creerlo. No pensé que ella alguna vez me haría eso. Tuve que dar un paso atrás y pensar en lo que hice mal. ¿Fue algo que dije? ¿Hice algo para que me engañara? La lista de preguntas seguía y seguía, pero todas las respuestas estaban en un solo lugar, mi propia mente.
Aunque he tratado de curarme y olvidarme de lo que había sucedido, a veces me enfrento a la persona que una vez amé y me llenan de tantas emociones que siento que voy a explotar. Me duele tanto verlos y saber que están con otra persona mientras solían ser míos me hace sentir tan vacío y vacío.
El dolor no era físico, pero mentalmente era agonizante. Me tomó unos días hasta que pude controlar mi mente, no hablé con nadie sobre la situación porque no la entenderían hasta que la atravesaran. Tomó algún tiempo, pero hoy puedo mirar hacia atrás a la situación y reírme de lo débil de mente y lo pequeño que era en realidad.
Las rupturas no solo son tristes, sino que también pueden afectar la salud mental. A veces, estos desamores pueden conducir a la depresión.
Por lo tanto, siempre es importante aprender a dejarse llevar y seguir adelante cuando se presenta la angustia reconociendo el hecho de que tienes el corazón roto por ahora, pero la vida continúa, así que pon tu fe en Dios, sigue adelante y nunca te rindas.

Its Hive open mic week 125 and the theme is "Nothing Is Impossible". Its my first time participating in this contest.
Yesterday, i was walking with my friend on the road. We were enjoying our time as we talk and share our life as usual.
I was so happy to have a friend like him. He is a very close person to me. I always share my deepest thought with him and he's always there for me without fail.
He then told me something which I think was one of the greatest advice ever given to me by someone.
Truth is it's nothing new, but the way he said it gave me a realization of how to deal with things in life. He said: "If you really wanted something, you can actually make it happen". Simple, isn't it?
But the thing is very simple has its difficulty to be applied in reality. There are may reasons that you can't do what you want or achieve your dream or dream job, or you can't do this thing even though you did everything, but failed!
It doesn't matter anymore! What matters is that you did everything that is possible for you to do, and leave the rest on God.
No matter what happens, let us learn from failure and keep on trying until success comes!
Everything is possible for God! Nothing is impossible for Him to do! You can do anything if you believe in Him! And if you believe in anything, believe in God.
Nothing is impossible. The imagination of God is greater than anything we could ever think of and we want to constantly remind people that there is always room for improvement.
