What does it take to build something incredible from nothing—and then know when it's time to step back?

In this episode, Casey sits down with Natalie Batlle, founder of Juno House Club, the women's membership club in Barcelona that has become a sanctuary for ambitious, soulful, and creative women from around the world. Natalie shares her journey from being a first-time founder building something fast without a playbook to transitioning out of the CEO role into a more strategic position as Chairwoman, and how she's learning to embrace this season of soul-searching and reflection.

This is a conversation about the evolution of leadership, the gift of creating space for others even when you can't always enjoy it in the same way yourself, and what it means to honour both the vision and the journey. Natalie opens up about the founder's paradox—operating something so intensely that you can't fully experience it—and the bittersweet beauty of watching your creation take on a life of its own. They explore why not every founder is meant to be the operator, the discomfort of stepping into reflection when you're built to do, and the importance of celebrating what already exists before chasing what's next.

In This Episode, You'll Discover:

  • Why building something doesn't mean you're meant to operate it—and how to recognize the difference

  • The reality of being a first-time founder learning to be CEO in real-time without a playbook

  • What it means to transition from CEO to Chairwoman and step back from daily operations

  • The founder's paradox: creating something so magical you can't fully experience it yourself

  • Why soul-searching seasons can feel more uncomfortable than the intensity of building

  • How intentional design and thoughtfulness attract the exact community you envision

  • The importance of pausing to celebrate what you've built before visioning what's next

  • What it means to trust that your creation is strong enough to evolve beyond you

More clients than you can handle sounds like a dream—until you're doing the work of four people.

In this episode, Casey sits down with Lauren Bordon, founder of Your Trilingual Support, a company that offers fractional executive assistant services to international CEOs and high-net-worth individuals in three languages: English, French, and Spanish. Lauren shares her journey from working until 9 p.m. on Friday nights, doing the work of four people, to finally building a team and reclaiming her life.

This is a conversation about moving beyond the hustle and into sustainable success. Lauren opens up about the challenges of building a team when you're already overwhelmed, the process of finding the right people, and what shifted when she finally had space to breathe again. They explore the double roller coaster of entrepreneurship and international relocation, why every founder needs three key people from the start (accountant, tech support, and executive assistant), and the power of being vulnerable enough to let people know you're drowning.

In This Episode, You'll Discover:

  • Why doing everything yourself isn't a strength—it's survival mode

  • How Lauren went from working until 9 p.m. on Friday nights to finally having breathing space

  • How to build a team when you're already overwhelmed—and why it's still worth it

  • The three essential people every founder needs before they get busy

"I think that burnout provides that door back to self." - Mónica Pina Alzugaray

In this episode, Casey sits down with Mónica Pina Alzugaray, the first woman who responded to Casey's call for conversations about change, burnout, and transformation when she first arrived in Barcelona. A year later, they reflect on Mónica's journey from burnout to vitality—and what's changed.

This is a conversation about moving beyond doing things because they look good and into doing things because they feel aligned. Mónica shares the moment on her beautiful couch with her cashmere sweater when everything looked perfect but felt empty, the pattern of performing through burnout recovery the same way she performed at work, and what shifted when she finally connected back to her soul. They explore how asking for help creates real relationships, why discomfort is the pathway to connection, and how burnout became a portal to a deeper, more authentic way of living.

In This Episode, You'll Discover:

  • Why nothing external can reconnect you to your soul—you have to do that yourself

  • The difference between doing yoga because it looks good and doing it because it grounds you

  • How asking for help (even watering plants) transforms surface-level connections into real relationships

  • Why we've become a society that avoids discomfort—and what that costs us

  • The importance of in-person connection in a professional world (even when it means getting on a plane)

  • How burnout provides a door back to self—and what's possible when you walk through it

Sometimes growth doesn't look like the next big adventure—it looks like finally planting roots.

In this episode of The Purpose Map™️ with Casey Berglund, Casey sits down with Debbie Rocket, Online Business Manager and creator of Rocket VA Academy—a training school for virtual assistants all around the world.

Debbie has been living her dream life in Barcelona for four and a half years. But as friends started leaving Spain and returning home, Debbie found herself at a crossroads: “should I stay or should I go?”

Debbie shares how she navigated the "five-year itch," the pull to chase something new, and the deeper truth that emerged—what she really wants is to plant roots, learn Spanish, call in her soulmate, and build a family in Barcelona.

This is a conversation about growth, maturity, knowing your worth, and the courage it takes to say: I'm staying. I'm watering my grass here. And I’m calling in my person for this next chapter.

In This Episode, You'll Discover:

  • How Debbie navigated the question "Am I in the right place?" after four and a half years in Barcelona

  • The "five-year itch" and why she realized she didn't want to start over on her own again

  • Why her current goals are about meeting her soulmate and building a stable life, not solo adventures

  • The shift from "I can do it all on my own" to "I'm ready to share my life with someone"

  • Why wanting partnership isn't weakness—it's wisdom and maturity

  • How going back to her natural brunette hair became a journey back to her true self

  • Why truth and integrity always shine through in business, life, and friendships

  • How to know if you're being your true self—and what to do if you're not

What if AI isn't here to make you do more, but to help you remember who you are?

In this episode, Casey sits down with Stephany Oliveros, a researcher at the intersection of AI and psychology and co-founder of SheAI, a United Nations-supported initiative bringing women and diverse voices into AI development.

This conversation goes deep. Stephany shares why current AI is "pretty dumb" compared to the super intelligence coming our way, how to use AI for introspection without outsourcing your inner authority, and why real creativity means going beyond the first output. They explore the mental health upside and risks of AI companionship, the ways bias shows up in models (from medicine to disaster response), and why women must shape the data. Most importantly: knowledge about AI starts with knowledge about yourself.

In This Episode, You'll Discover:

  • The difference between current AI, AGI, and super intelligence—and why we'll see it in our lifetime

  • Why ChatGPT's #1 use case is companionship (and what that says about loneliness)

  • The "yes, sir" problem: how AI creates echo chambers instead of challenging you

  • Why the first AI output is what millions are getting—and how to make yours unique

  • What AI cannot replace: human touch, lived experience, and generational wisdom

  • Stephany's mantra: "I'm not special. I'm just a part of something bigger. I'm enough."

  • How AI forces us to ask: Who are you without your job?

  • Why AI trained on male patient data fails women—and creates bias everywhere

  • SheAI's mission and practical ways to get involved

  • How to use AI correctly: ask what perspectives you're missing, request 20 questions, treat it like a therapist (but don’t rely on it’s answers)

Your Gentle Homework:

Notice when you reach for AI. Are you using it to avoid yourself or to arrive at your own conclusions? This week, try asking AI what perspectives you're missing instead of asking for the answer. Balance your AI use with moments in nature, in your body, and with the humans you love.

What if the thing you loved most about starting your business is the very thing you've delegated away?

In this episode, Casey sits down with Jane Scroggs, founder of two virtual assistant agencies supporting the property management industry. Jane brings her signature warmth and curiosity to a conversation about what happens when business growth pulls you away from the work that lights you up—and how to find your way back.

Jane is asking the questions so many entrepreneurs ask: "Am I still in alignment? What brings me joy now? How much of my day actually feels purposeful?" And instead of burning it all down (a temptation she admits to), she's learning to find the magic within the business she's already built.

This conversation is deeply reflective, practical, and full of "aha" moments. Casey guides Jane through a powerful exercise—recalling a childhood memory of flow—that reveals the golden thread running through her life and work: connection, curiosity, partnership, and creating "clubs" where people belong.

In this grounded conversation, we explore:

  • The sticky throat vs. the expansive chest: How to recognize alignment (or misalignment) through body sensations

  • When growth feels like a trap: Why taking on more team and admin can pull entrepreneurs away from their zone of genius

  • The childhood club creator: Jane's memory of making "potions" with her friend Cheryl and what it reveals about her true gifts

  • Projectors in business: Why Jane thrives in visionary, big-picture roles and struggles in the weeds of execution

  • The Cheryl you need: How the right person on your team can free you to stay in your gifts

  • Perfectionists and delegation: Why having high standards isn't something to shame yourself for—it's about finding the right people who match that standard

  • The small hinge that swings a big door: Why you don't always need to burn the business down—sometimes one role change shifts everything

  • Shiny object syndrome vs. sticking it out: How to find sparkle and alignment within the business you already have

  • Three words that anchor you: How defining your purpose in a short statement can guide every decision

  • VA business models: Why there's no one right way to build—some thrive solo, others love leading teams

This episode is for any business owner who's wondering if they've lost themselves in the growth, who's feeling the weight of team management, or who's simply asking, "What now?" It's a reminder that sometimes the answer isn't out there—it's in remembering who you were when you started.

What if the wave realized it was always the ocean?

In this episode, Casey sits down with Chus Cartes for one of the most philosophical, raw, and grounding conversations of the series. This isn't your typical self-development talk—it's a gentle dismantling of everything we think we need to do in order to be okay.

Chus speaks from a place of deep remembering. She's walked through the fire of her own suffering—narcissism, competition, depression, isolation—and emerged on the other side not with answers, but with an embodied knowing that changes everything. Now, she guides women back to the truth that we are already whole, that nothing is broken, and that the very act of trying to control the ocean as a single wave is what creates our deepest pain.

This conversation will challenge you. It will slow you down. And if you let it, it will remind you that beneath all the striving, the tools, the journaling, the healing—you are already complete.

In this profound conversation, we explore:

  • The wave and the ocean: Why trying to control your life as a separate self creates suffering, and what shifts when you remember you're part of the whole

  • Neutralizing vs. letting go: How to be with what is without judgment, and why this is gentler and more powerful than forcing release

  • The trap of spiritual tools: When journaling, breathwork, and self-development keep you stuck in a loop instead of setting you free

  • Making yourself available to grace: What it means to become horizontal instead of vertical, and how stillness creates space for transformation

  • Dancing vs. counting the beats: Why humanity is trying to figure out life instead of just living it, and how to trust the body's wisdom

  • Compassion without reaction: How recognizing your own "colors" in others neutralizes friction and creates space for healing

  • Surrendering to the heaviness: Why we must walk through the fire of discomfort rather than bypassing it, and what's waiting on the other side

  • The ashram that changed everything: Chus's story of hitting rock bottom, finding Mooji, and experiencing grace in its purest form

This episode is for anyone who feels exhausted by trying to fix themselves. For anyone who's read all the books, done all the practices, and still feels like something is missing. For anyone ready to stop being the wave trying to control the ocean—and finally remember they are the water itself.

Content note: This episode includes discussion of depression, disordered eating patterns, and deep suffering. Please take care of yourself while listening.

What happens when ambition meets burnout—and what becomes possible on the other side?

In this episode, Casey sits down with Emmelin Boixareu, a Barcelona native, interior designer, and entrepreneur who turned her breaking point into a blueprint for building businesses that actually support life instead of consuming it.

Emmelin's story is one many high-achieving women will recognize: saying yes to every opportunity, tying her worth to her work, and pushing through until her body literally couldn't anymore. But what makes this conversation so valuable is what happened next—how she learned to set boundaries, honor her nervous system, and identify the real problems in her industry that she was uniquely positioned to solve.

Now running two successful businesses—La Troupe and Gigson Solutions—Emmelin has become what Casey calls "a bridge builder," connecting people, systems, and solutions in ways that create efficiency, humanity, and sustainable success.

In this honest conversation, we explore:

  • The ego's role in burnout: How validation, ambition, and the fear of being "less worthy" kept Emmelin in an unsustainable cycle

  • The volcano moment: Why sometimes we need a dramatic shift in perspective to realize what's actually worth our energy

  • Returning to work with boundaries: How setting limits after burnout can actually lead to more expansive opportunities

  • Building businesses from pain points: How Emmelin identified gaps in the construction and tech industries and created solutions that serve both clients and employees

  • The body remembers: Why nervous system regulation has to come before purpose-driven work can truly thrive

  • Being a bridge: How combining people skills with technical knowledge creates unique value in any industry

This episode is for anyone who has ever felt trapped in the loop of overworking, anyone recovering from burnout, or anyone wondering how to build a business that doesn't require you to sacrifice your well-being.

If you're ready to stop proving your worth through exhaustion and start building something sustainable, this conversation will light the way.

Kevin Goodman is a corporate leader, a creative, a partner, a father, and our guest on today’s podcast episode. He is currently navigating a space between two versions of himself; he describes it as a space of transition, awakening and realization.

Casey and Kevin’s conversation is centred around navigating this “space between” – the time and space that is created by an identity death, career change, relationship shift, or other big life change – and how your integrated self can be your biggest asset in that transition.

They discuss:

  • How to tell the difference between your intuition and your doubt.
  • The beneficial role doubt can play in your life.

As Jake says in the episode – boys will be what we give them space to be.

Listen in as Casey and Jake discuss how the pandemic has affected toxic masculinity, what needs to happen for real change to take affect moving forward, and what you can do to be part of that change!

Casey met George at his Venice, California home to sip tea in his backyard and discuss breath work and the Enneagram. They discuss his “nine-ness”, her “eight-ness”, vulnerability, and how the Enneagram can be a beautiful companion to a breath work practice.

These two tools, the Enneagram and breath work, have helped George come back to himself. Now he has made it his life’s work to help others do the same — through his company Breathworks — to rediscover themselves, who they are deep inside, and how they can find their way to the healthiest version of themselves. His breath work is powerful, inspired, and transformational.

Who you are is a gift, without you doing a single thing. What the world needs right now is for you to come back to yourself, to own and claim your authenticity, your being, your Next Level Purpose.

When you do that work, your very presence is the gift.

Mentioned Resources & Next Steps:

  • George has recently launched a program called Soul Wave – Breathwork x Enneagram Practice Group. This is a breathwork journey specifically for your Enneagram type. You can learn more (or sign up) on George's website.
  • If you want to go deep into the practice of breathwork, George offers 3 month, 1:1 breathwork coaching packages. You can learn more here.

  • If you’re ready to dive into your Next Level Purpose, the thing you're really here to do, visit step 1 on the Work With Us page to learn more about Worthy & Well’s Next Level Purpose VIP Day Experience.
  • Casey has a few spots open for one-on-one clients over the next 6 to 12 months, and then we'll be closing down one-on-one coaching applications for the next year. To discuss this in more detail, book a call with Casey.

After wrapping up Season 1 of The Purpose Map™️ Podcast, Casey felt called to record and share a surprise mini-series with you. Lately, we’ve been receiving a lot of questions about whether or not we work with men. Many men have come our shared healing space, and this theme of growth, transformation, navigating big change, and finding purpose, from the perspective of men, has just been everywhere.

Our hope is that this surprise mini-series on the podcast reaches men, but it’s for everyone. Every human deserves to heal. In this episode, Casey interviews her brother, Blake Berglund. They discuss concepts like grief and change, gratitude, and magic, spirituality and presence, and the spaces between it all. They talk about tension in life, and how to stumble through discomfort. These are universal concepts that impact all humans. It’s our hope that hearing from men opens up other men to healing, community, growth, transformation, and living in alignment.

Casey also shares some wise words that were shared by their late Uncle John, to whom this episode is dedicated, so be sure to listen to the end!

**Note: If there's any other way that we can support you, we're here for it. Worthy and Well is very well connected to people and practitioners that are available for supporting healing right now. And the more healing we can do, the more we can step into our unique gifts and share them openly and expressively with the world (and the better off our planet becomes).

So if you want to join us in that mission, please reach out. We would love to help connect you with the right resources for the journey you are on.

Resources & Next Steps:

  • You can reach out to Blake at blakeberglund@gmail.com.
  • You can connect with Blake on his website, Twitter, Instagram, BandCamp, or Facebook.
  • If you're in a space between, you're going through a transformation, or you're feeling grief or identity death, you're not alone. What a magical transformative moment you're in! If you are looking for support, please don't hesitate to reach out.
  • Casey has a few spots open for one-on-one clients over the next 6 to 12 months, and then we'll be closing down one-on-one coaching applications for the next year. To discuss this in more detail, book a call with Casey.
  • If you feel awakened to a deeper purpose for your life, we are here to help you get aligned with your Integrated Self and Next Level Purpose. Check out our Next Level Purpose VIP Day here.

Today's guest on the podcast is a community member who is struggling to allow in her next level of success. She can feel the urge to level up her business, but is also deeply resisting it. With the urge to expand, comes an equally powerful urge to contract, shrink, and avoid being seen. She wants to feel liberated from the heaviness she feels when considering growth, so that she can lean into her next phase and feel more comfortable being seen and receiving even more financial abundance.

Through the embodied coaching process, our guest reclaims a part of herself that had been left behind, and leaves the session feeling more clear, calm, and ready for her next step.

Welcome to another live coaching session! This is the final episode in our Worthy and Well-Nourished series. Today's community member enters into the session feeling like she needs structure and focus, so that she can build habits around wellness, but finds herself overwhelmed with questions about where to even start. When she thinks about creating a plan, she thinks about all the things she "should" be doing, but isn't, and then ends up doing nothing at all. Maybe you can relate?

A beautiful shift happens when our guest realizes that instead of feeling like she needs to "push" herself to take part in more growth-oriented wellness practices, she actually wants to "invest" in herself.

This change in language changes everything.

She leaves the session with clarity on the leading behaviour that will have the most impact right now, an expansive energy around taking action, and the willingness to invest.

Listen in for yourself — this episode is bound to inspire shift and change in you, too!

**Of note: coaching is distinctly different from therapy. The process is not about diagnosing psychological or emotional problems, but rather using an integrative set of skills to help a client access their inner wisdom about what is needed to move beyond barriers and toward their desired outcome.

You are in the right place right now if you want to feel peace and ease, abundant in your sense of wellbeing, and reconnected with the truth of your own value, power, and deserving. In other words, you want to feel good, and you want to feel like feeling good doesn't have to be so hard to achieve, even if right now you're experiencing some sort of personal frustration or fear that's impacting your overall wellbeing.

In this solo episode, Casey takes you on a journey toward understanding your nervous system, so that you can see the connection between regulating yourself and overall wellness and well-being. To regulate, means to affect or impact your nervous system in a positive way, especially in moments where you feel "triggered."

In this episode, you'll learn:

  • three key nervous system states, including how and when they are each activated
  • the difference between co-regulation and self-regulation
  • how to choose your "leading wellness practice" to stay regulated, and experience life from a more responsive state for wellbeing, peace, and ease
  • what to do when you are dysregulated, "triggered", or reactive, in order to come back "home" to a more optimal state
  • why you don't need to fight your way into a regulated nervous system, and why you might need medication, therapy, coaching, or some other form of support to make regulation easier
  • three invitations to integrate this wisdom

Today's guest, Taylor Morrison, is the founder of Inner Workout, a company that helps you practice self-care without the "should's." She describes self-care as "listening within and responding in the most loving way possible" (we love that definition!) and expands on how to practice it in this episode. When you tune in you'll learn:

  • The power of presence as a foundation for discernment, especially when navigating uncomfortable moments in life
  • The five dimensions of wellbeing, inspired by yoga's koshas
  • How to assess your connection with the five dimensions, so that you can take intentional steps forward as it relates to wellbeing and self-care
  • Why your wellness routines aren't meant to stick around forever and how your self-care practices may need to shift as your seasons and cycles change
  • Taylor's perspective on what gets in the way of listening within and responding in the most loving way possible
  • You don't need products to practice self-care, but they can be useful when they enhance or deepen your experience

Welcome to The Purpose Map(TM) podcast's very first live Let Your Body Lead(TM) Coaching and Guidance session with our community member who is asking the question "am I on the right path? What do I do next?"

In this episode Casey guides our guest through a self-discovery process, so that she can receive what she came to the session for: support with finding clarity of purpose and trusting her path.

Our guest wants to be okay with her "innate self" and feel safe enough to share her gifts with other people, but something feels blocked. There's an intuition that she needs to connect with her body and specifically, her inner child to support her journey.

Of note, the Let Your Body Lead(TM) Method incorporates tools and skills from the practices of coaching, embodiment, ancient wisdom, and science. Casey draws upon these tools in combination with her intuitive gifts to support this guest. Though the session is highly therapeutic, it is not therapy.

We invite you to slow down, get present, and come along with us, especially if you are also wondering if you are on the right path.

And if you would like to apply to be coached and guided (for free) on The Purpose Map(TM) podcast, please click here and share your story.

Burnout, breakdowns, and break-ups can bring you back to you in a way that nothing else does. But how do you turn that suffering into self-discovery? And do it as quickly as possible?

In this episode, Casey gets a little bit feisty as she shares another pathway to purpose. Her (potentially) unpopular opinion might just help you avoid unnecessary suffering, especially if you've been on a sticky personal growth path for quite some time.

Please note, what's shared in this episode is informational and a point of view only. Please see a qualified health professional if you need support with your mental health or personal situation, and please make informed decisions that are aligned with you and your needs.
