Born from an unrenovated apartment building in Friedrichshain, across the river from Treptower Park. There are three main dance floors: Schwarzer Raum on the ground floor, mainly focussing on techno. Then upstairs there is Grüner Raum where it’s all about house, and Roter Raum for all things slow, weird and trippy disco. The atmosphere is that of a theatrical house party. The booking is a mixture of international and local artists. A large outdoor courtyard is open during the summer, which provides another bar with food and plenty of space to hang out.
Back in action to start the springtime season off with a bang, Renate's sweetest resident @johannesalbert drops some heat for all you haus ravers out there. March marks the release of Mr. Albert's 2nd full-length LP on his own label Frank Music. This Saturday Johannes will celebrate the release at Renate with some of his closest friends so be sure to come down to check the man himself playing cuts from the new release.

For this podcast we welcome Wilde Renate friend and lover Curses. After landing in Berlin and making his marking pretty quick, Curses kept up the pace releasing music on some of the best imprints in the business. Becoming a pseudo-Resident at our now deceased Voyage Voyage series and releasing an album didn’t stop him either.
