We are a couple of nerds who love discussing about pop culture of all kinds, especially over cozy drinks. You're invited to pull up a (figurative) chair, grab your own cozy drink of choice, and listen in on our chats about all things AP approved!
Curtains up on our next AP Approved movie: Theater Camp! Places please, for a ton of laughter, fun, and deep sincere love of theatre and especially theatre kids. Enjoy the show!

Note: We have a new podcast studio, which is inside our car! We frequently take a 45 minute drive to see our families, and that is when we have the most time to sit down and talk about the movies we love. So if you hear any random extra sounds, that's why!
We are so excited to bring you our conversation about the biggest blockbuster of this summer, Barbie! Get dressed in your pinkest outfit and get ready for fun, fashion, and feminist metacommentary about one of the most recognizable and controversial icons of our time. We cannot say "Kenough" good things about this movie!Music Credit: "Happy-Go-Lucky Day" by The Caffeine Creek Band.
Grab your camping gear and your Oreos with peanut butter and settle in for this deep dive into Andi's very favorite movie, The Parent Trap (the 1998 version with Lindsey Lohan, of course)! Loads of laughter and British accents ahead!

This summer we drove up to Michigan's Upper Peninsula for a camping trip with some friends, and since we had several hours of driving, we recorded a podcast to pass the time! The sound quality is a little worse than usual, but we had a good time, and we hope you will too. Topics discussed: One Night in Miami, A Star is Born, The Office, WandaVision, and Falcon and the Winter Soldier. Happy Trails!
Episode 8: Come along on a visit to the neighborhood of Washington Heights as we review the movie version of In the Heights, based on the award-winning musical by the brilliant Lin-Manuel Miranda. Someone give this man an Oscar!

Episode 7: On Oscars night, we would like to share one more Best Picture nomination we loved: The Trial of the Chicago 7. With an outstanding screenplay and superb ensemble cast, as well as a deeper look at a historical event that feels very relevant to current times, this movie is definitely one for the books!

Episode 6: Judas and the Black Messiah tells the story of the life and death of Fred Hampton, a Black Panther and freedom fighter. We recorded this back before the Golden Globes, so we didn't know the outcome at the time. We think it's an important movie for everyone to see, and it certainly deserves all the acclaim it can get!

Episode 5: Our review of the dark comedy/revenge thriller film, Promising Young Woman. A few notes: we recorded this before the Golden Globes, so we didn't know how they would turn out yet. Spoiler warning in case you don't want to know the ending, because it's a twisty one! Also a content/trigger warning: this movie discusses sexual assault.

Episode 4: For months, we wished for the release of Wonder Woman 1984, and finally, at long last, our wish was granted. Here is our review!

Episode 3: We reviewed Schitt's Creek, the riches-to-rags sitcom that dominated the 2020 Emmys, a show which can't be mentioned on broadcast TV without the title written out on the screen, and a story which absolutely captivated our hearts in a year when we all needed as much warmth and laughter as we could get.

Episode 2: This time we are discussing the newest Pixar film and existential theory, Soul. If you'd like to hear us review your favorite movie, musical, book, or song, we'd love to hear your suggestions! If you don't know us already, you can reach Andi on Instagram at @kandiruth916.
