fried days: Recent Episodes

‘That’s so fried,’ has become the blanket statement used for anything that baffles our brains because of its stupidity, horror or unfathomable nature. In 2020, my brain and the world all feel fried. For my podcast, I decided to base it around this theme of wackiness in response to our comedy-horror show state of the world. I essentially want to bring people into the podcast to highlight current dreams they are chasing and how they are going about it during these “fried days”. I also want to touch on topics regarding mental health and using humor as a way to navigate our day to day grievances. Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/fried-days/support

This episode is dedicated to Maria Lamas, one of the kindest souls I’ve had the pleasure of knowing. I talk to her oldest daughter, Diandra Lamas, about her work with Yelp as the Miami community director and how her industry has been affected by the pandemic. Diandra and I talk about the love she received from her community during a difficult time and how we as consumers can support local businesses during these fried days. “If you love something, love it very hard” <3

On episode #2, I talk to one of my favorite creative homies, Nati Zunjic. She's currently a part of Roujeetunes, a collaborative music platform run by 3 talented women who strive to eventually turn the platform into a record label. We get into the art of enjoying the creative process, and talk about some of the mental obstacles that come with defining your brand.
