Cameron Theodos and Jeremy Holley were connected when they followed God's call to serve at Immanuel Baptist Church in Pace, Florida. Jeremy followed God's call by moving his family from Arkansas to Florida to serve as the Lead Pastor at Immanuel, while Cameron followed God's call by moving his family from Louisiana to Florida to serve as the Worship Pastor at Immanuel. The heart behind the podcast is to explore what it truly means to follow God anywhere. Following God anywhere doesn't just apply to a physical move, although that is what brought Cameron and Jeremy together; it also applies to every aspect of our daily lives. Through this podcast we'll explore what it means to truly follow God anywhere in our day to day as we pastor a church, lead our families, make financial decisions, parent, and so on. We hope that you'll join us as we explore how to follow God in all aspects of how we live.

Disney pioneered an iconic Disneyland attraction, "It's a Small World", in the mid 60s, taking riders through various cultures and children singing the same song, but in their own language, to show that it just might be a small world after all. Today, in the technology driven world we live in, that statement has never been more true, and social media platforms are a major player in the world being a little smaller.
Through social media platforms you can connect with friends and family from all over the world, stay connected, and say hello to people you cannot see in person. Social media also allows us to share what is happening in our lives and share with the world all that we think the they would care to hear or see. We can use social media, as well as online tools and platforms to share the gospel and advance the Kingdom of God - There truly are great things that can come from social media. However, there's also a not so great side of social media. Many people are able to share their thoughts and opinions, booth good and bad, and people can be hateful, aggressive, and prone to attack, simply because they're behind a keyboard and not in person. Lately, we've even begun to see an increasing amount of Christians attacking other Christians and fighting public fights that do nothing but cause division. Through these attacks, seeds of division are sewn between the church, families, and friends; and all the while, non-believers are pushed further away.
When we fall into the trap of social media, we take a potentially great witness opportunity and replace it with division and emptiness. In today's episode, we'll discuss some practical tips on how to avoid the dangers of the social media traps, what it looks like to be a godly believer in person and online, and what the Church should do moving forward.
