Interesting Fun Educational. I podcast in English for those who are students of the English language. There will also be some Japanese podcasts; basically something for everyone. I have been and working in Japan since 1984. Married to a wonderful Japanese lady and with two grown children. We run our own mom and pop English teaching service (RAM = Rick And Miwako). With that, I have many insights and experiences about this wonderful country and its people to share. Thanks for listening.
I lived five years on Maui. Thank you, John! It is a beautiful place in the middle of the Pacific ocean. The residents celebrate Halloween there the same as other places in the US. This was my final one in Paradise.

Chris Kunody is an ALT here in Saitama prefecture. ALT stands for Assistant Language Teacher. He works at junior high schools assisting teachers to teach English to the students. Chris lives near our school. We have met and chatted a number of times. I asked him if he would allow me to interview him on ZOOM. He agreed.

The next step in my podcast career is to do interviews. I would like to speak with other ESL teachers and educators as well as ESL (English as a Second Language) students. My goal is to assist listeners with their own goals for studying English. This podcast is my first step in that direction. Enjoy.
Yuko is an adult student from my Saturday adult lesson group. This interview was done by ZOOM. In the first half she tells about here ESL experience. In the second half I tell about some of the RAM English Service events we offer our students. This was my fist attempt at an interview. I liked the results.
This is an example of my teaching at a kindergarten here in Japan. This is mainly for Japanese guests, but anyone can understand the gist of the lesson. Besides the kids are cute, as always. I Introduce the DAYs to the group, then three kids read, one by one, the Z to A wall letters. Rick also sings Happy birthday to twins.

I quit drinking twice. The first was in 2012 for one year. the second time was January 1st, 2021. I tell about the experience here. BTW I will never drink alcohol again...and thats the truth.
These kids are 3 and 4 years old. We practice What is your name? and How old are you? In this episode I teach COLORS and some sentence practice. as always the kids are cute.

I was on stage with the 4 year-olds for this annual Christmas show at a Kindergarten in 2021. I interview each child with What is you name? then How old are? Next we sing If You are Happy and You know it. Cute.
At Rinas wedding my brother and I sang the song Ive Been Working on the Railroad. It was a tribute to our father.
I read this book twice. It is very interesting. I chose several passages to share with you.
This is 26 minutes of an uncut, unedited lesson at a kindergarten. The kids are Nen-chos. Most just turned 4 years old. They are still rookies.

Escaped to Colorado with assist from a great man. Moved to Maui, HI with great man. Moved to Japan solo to learn the Japanese language. Plan? Return to paradise and work in tourist industry.
