Peacemakers intervene and take action to help others find common ground. We do so by putting ourselves in the other person's shoes. We need to be able to relate to where both individuals are coming from and point them to the areas they have in common.
Today's episode continues our study of the Beatitudes. As we look at Matthew 5:8 Blessed are the pure in heart.
Our purity is not an assurity. It is a purposeful and resolute reliance on God.
Today's topic is mercy.

Today we are going to continue our study of the Beatitudes. As we look at Matthew 5:6 which encourages us to hunger and thirst for righteousness. Hungering and thirsting for righteousness means pursuing God with all our hearts. It means spending time in prayer and reading the Bible, seeking to know God more intimately. It means we are seeking an intimate relationship with our heavenly Father.
In Today's episode we continue our study of the Beatitudes as we look at the subject of meekness or humility. Our lesson comes from Matthew 5:5 Blessed are the meek for they shall inherit the earth.

In Paul's final chapter of Romans he takes the opportunity to mention those saints who have been there for him and have been a blessing not only to him, but to others in the faith.
In this episode Paul is bringing aid to the Jewish Christians in Jerusalem. This aid was provided by other gentile saints who felt compelled to meet their needs.

Today we are starting chapter 15 of Romans. The theme for today is harmony. Paul says that we should do so in harmony. In other words no one is striving to be heard above another. Our voices should blend so that we sound as one.us Christ. Today we are going to finish chapter 14 of Romans. In our previous episode we discussed things that were of no consequence. In other words they were not sin, but rather beliefs and customs that were carried over from a believer's previous religion. In today's episode we will explore what brought you to Christ. Was it to flaunt your strong christian beliefs over a weaker believers customs and beliefs or did you come to Christ so that you may encourage and lift up others in their faith?
Today we start chapter 14 of Romans. Today's episode deals with secondary customs or beliefs that are of no consequence. We are all servants of the Lord. We are not the master. So we need not judge the actions or beliefs of another. God alone will judge and lift up even the weakest of his saints.
Today we will be finishing chapter 13. This lesson reveals that as children of God we are called to walk in the light as He is in the light. Paul gets very specific as to what is not of that light. We need to know who the enemy is and how to overcome the evil that surrounds us.
In Today's study of Romans we take a look at spiritual warfare and the weapons we need to do battle.
In today's episode of Romans we are going to explore what is expected of us as Christians with regard to the government. There is a saying that we get the government we deserve. In today's society that has become readily apparent as we deal with perversions never before seen in our lifetime.

Today we are going to start chapter 11 of Romans. As we will see in our study Israel started becoming jealous of the gentiles and through that jealousy some came to a saving grace. Are others jealous of what you have? Is Christ being exhibited in your daily life? You may not have the opportunity to share the gospel with everyone you meet, but everyone you meet should see the gospel written on your heart.
In today's study of Romans we focus on the truth, God's truth and whether we accept the Bible in it's entirety from cover to cover.
In our previous study of Romans Paul was using Israel's past to make his case for Christ. As we get into chapter 10 Paul is going to be speaking to them in the present tense and share his hearts desire for them.
Today we are going to finish up chapter 9 of Romans. Throughout this chapter Paul has been attempting to overcome the objections of the Jewish people, as it relates to the gentiles, the law, and the Jewish sense of entitlement as God's chosen people.Paul is going to use every tool at his disposal to make his point. He references Old testament scripture to build his case for Christ.
We continue with our study of Romans chapter 9. Mercy, or unmerited favor is God's to give as He sees fit. Nothing we can say or do outside of God's will can earn us His mercy. With the New Year comes an opportunity for a new beginning to come to our Lord and Savior and receive His unmerited mercy.
Today we're going to talk about memories and how we can retain those memories through exercising the hippocampus. This may seem a little off topic, but stay tuned and you'll see where we are going with this.
