The KISS image has been a signature differentiator in the music and rock world. No other band in the world has broken into the scene with such a bombastic visual impact. On this episode, we will look at the evolution of the KISS Image and how it reflects where the band was in their career. We also ask the question, were KISS Trend setters in the 70’s?
Imagine working with KISS? How about Cheap Trick, Ronnie James Dio, Ace Frehley, Joan Jett and so many more. Our next guest is a Manager, Producer, Graphic Designer, Marketing Specialist and Photographer. Enjoy the stories of David Snowden.
KISS Army, you seriously need to drop everything and watch or listen to the incredible musical career of our next guest, Jean Beauvoir. American singer, bassist, guitarist, multi-instrumentalist, songwriter, producer and entertainment executive. He has appeared on over 200 albums, has collaborated with 5 Artists inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, and has sold in excess of 40 million records as an artist, producer and songwriter and of course, as you all know, he has worked with Paul Stanley. You will truly get a sense of who Jean Beauvoir is from this fun and informative interview.
Patrick Demontigny, Eric Mehta, Claudio Spera and Pasquale Vari have been given the task of selecting the top ten books we feel helped increase our knowledge of KISStory. In this episode we will focus on the top 5 books we all had in common. Again, we ask the question, how have these books contributed to our knowledge of KISStory.
We are so happy, honored and proud to have back on our show for a 3rd time, our good friend David Fremberg to discuss his 3rd KISS Reggae Tribute release “Love Mon”.
If you saw any of our next guests KISS cosplay photos online, I’m sure you all wanted to know more about her. Well KISS Army, here is your chance to get to know Rebecca Opal Lenga through a very unscientific study of KISS Fandom.
If our Fan Profiles have proven anything it’s that, no matter where we’re from, no matter our gender, our religious and political affliction, our sexual preferences our ages or our musical preferences, KISS fans have so much in common
We are going to compare Rebecca’s fandom to our own, demonstrating how much KISS fans truly have in common.
The brainchild of Rob Myers, hosts of various KISS Podcasts gather in crossover episodes to discuss KISS in a Roundtable Discussion. On this episode, we are joined by the hosts of RIGHT BETWEEN THE EYES, KISS ARMY THINGS and IN MY HEAD. No script, no plan, just KISS. Make sure to check out Round Table 1 & 2 on Right Between the Eyes Podcast.
You cannot hear the word “Gema” without thinking of our next guest. A regular contributor on KLA (KISS Live Auctions) along with San Freiermuth, they never fail to deliver an entertaining auction along with amazing deals on some pretty rare and hard to find KISS vinyl. He is also the owner of a spectacular record store called Skeletone in Rochester, NH. We’re going to talk KISS, Vinyl, the story behind Skeltone Records and we’ll determine once and for all if San is in fact stable. KISS Army, please welcome Rodd Michael Radict.
We have devoted several Discussion Panel episodes to “changes” which have affected the band in one way or another. Several examples include changes in musical direction, the diversity in their solo careers, heck, even changes to their KISStory. But, we never really discussed the biggest change and influence of all, the changes in the KISS lineup and how that has affected the band. It begs the question, did the lineup changes affect the band in the long run or was it just a blip in KISStory? Do you think Ace and Peter’s replacements made an impact as huge as Peter and Ace in KISStory, or again, was it just a blip in KISStory?
A passionate KISS fan from Sweden, our next guest, along with Johan Falk published a book, KISS in Sweden 1976-2013. He also wrote an article on The Coventry for a Swedish KISS Fanzine…Destroyer. A few months ago, he attended the opening night of Bliss Street and on this episode, we will focus on some of his adventures with a former guest of ours, Tony Mann. KISS Army, please welcome Roney Lundell.
Born in Castlegar, British Columbia, our guest tonight is a prominent music journalist, critic, author, and artist. At approximately 7900 (with over 7000 appearing in his books), he has unofficially written more record reviews than anybody in the history of music writing across all genres. Additionally, he has penned approximately 120 books on hard rock, heavy metal, prog, punk, classic rock and record collecting. The good news for KISS fans is…a new KISS book, “KISS at 50” is in the works and soon to be released and we couldn’t be happier. We are really honored to have with us, Mr. Martin Popoff.
We have often mentioned in previous episodes, one of the things which make KISS so special is the diversity in their music. So, it begs the question, what is considered a typical KISS song? What is considered a typical KISS album for that matter? AND…where has KISS diverted from their “Formula”?
We’re going to tackle this question in 3 parts. Part one, we’re going to take a look at what we consider to be “typical” KISS albums. Part 2, we’ll look at the albums which diverted from the KISS Formula. In Part 3, we’re going to create 2 GREATEST KISS COMPILATIONS…the first compilation will focus on typical KISS songs and the second on atypical songs.
We’re going to end the episode with a little surprise twist in our discussion.
Who is Roger Bernard? What are the Legendary KISS Black Books? We had the pleasure of meeting Roger at Kruise Fest and listening to his Backstage stories during breakfast on KISS Kruise XI. This is the fourth and final episode in a series of Kruise Fest Specials…and we’re going to end it with a bang. Joining Kruise Fest for the Comet All Stars, alongside Brad Lang, Keith Robert and Anton Fig, we are proud to have on our show…Tod Howarth.
KISS Army, drop whatever your doing, sit back and relax because I know, our next guest will completely entertain you with her unstoppable energy, her fast-paced wit, her love for life and her behind the curtain stories of the greatest band in the land. Take a ride with us for what will sure to be an unpredictable hour. On this episode, we’re going to learn about the former wardrobe manager for KISS…through the stories of our special guest…Pixie Esmonde.
On today’s episode, we are going to take a slightly different approach to our usual Interview format. Like a book, we are going to break up this discussion in “Chapters”. Each chapter will focus on a particular aspect of Pixie’s life and told through her stories.
Let’s call this book…UNVEILING THE HIDDEN ARTIST…THE STORY OF PIXIE ESMONDE
The KISS Army Nation Podcast is PROUD to support KRUISE FEST 2022.

The band boasts excellent musicianship and beauty, as you will see with our guest.
Second, Dressed to KILL…An L.A. KISS Tribute band…they may not boast the beauty but definitely excellent musicianship playing all the hits from the classic era of KISS in makeup and costume.
We noticed in our Fan Profile episodes many fans seem to “Check Out” of their KISS Fandom at particular moments in time. We thought it would be fun to discuss those moments when fans were more likely to “check out” and the moments when they tend to come back.
This episode will be divided into 3 parts. First, we will talk about when WE checked out and then returned. We will then look at fan comments on their “checking out” experiences, and will conclude the episode with the question, are fans more likely to check out at the end of the road?

Dominik Cote was a former guest on a past Fan Profile episode. The discussion centered around, not only his love for KISS but his work on attempting to launch a Toy and Record Show. That launch was a success which subsequently led to other shows and KISS related events including a show coming up this July 30th. Dom is here to discuss his various projects, both past and present.
Today’s guest is a 37 years young Argentinian KISS fan with a fascinating story and a captivating personality. Originally from Cordoba, a seasoned professional in the graphic design domain, Alejandro has had the vision of complementing his two passions, KISS and design, into an awesome project that we will discuss here in this episode. In the current KISS world, we find a vast quantity of ideas and projects originated by fans. Such is the case of Alejandro, who has just published and released his first book, “KISS en Argentina”. On most podcasts you’ll hear, “leave a comment and we will read it on the show.” On this podcast, leave a comment and it can get you ON the show. This is true of previous guests such as Chris Ricci, Robert Bentley, and today’s guest…a professional musician who continues the Southern Rock tradition from trailblazers such as Lynyrd Skynyrd, 38 Special and Molly Hatchet. On the show, to talk about his musical influences, of course KISS and his band, The Curt Towne Band, is the man himself…Curt Towne.
Being babysat on Halloween in 1978, our next fan Profile is on a guest who, while flipping channels, came across KISS Meets the Phantom. Being fascinated with Horror movies, of course, KISS was a natural progression for him. As a result, his youth was filled with discovering his newfound interest in KISS and his adulthood was replete with KISS adventures. Here, to talk about those adventures, is Eric Mehta.

If you’re a KISS fan, it’s a guarantee your Twitter, Instagram and Facebook feeds have been inundated with everything Creatures Fest. There hasn't been this much excitement since a KISS Kruise, and how can a KISS fan not be excited. Here is an event with Ace Frehley, Peter Criss, Bruce Kulick and Vinnie Vincent. Add to that, John Corabi, Kuarantine and a host of other bands. We talking meet and greets, pool parties, a recreation of unplugged and of course, plenty of merch for sale.
The recent success of Creatures Fest is a tribute to Neil Davis and the tireless hard work of its organizers. Jay Jadofsky is one of those organizers. For those of us who did not have an opportunity to be at this event, Jay will give us an overview of the events that made Creatures Fest such a success.
Why doesn’t KISS release any new music? That is a question on every KISS fans mind and a topic of conversation on many KISS Podcasts. In this episode, we will not beat this topic to death, again, it’s been discussed countless times before, instead, we will look back at Sonic Boom and Monster and come up with our own dream NEW KISS Album using already existing demo’s.
Our guest today is, really, what the KISS ARMY NATION PODCAST is all about…the KISS Fan. Ron Williams is the author of “I Stole Your Love” The 100% True Story of a 100% True KISS fan. Here, to discuss his book and to share some stories is Ron Williams.
In some of the previous Discussion Panels, we looked at different albums and how they influenced or impacted KISStory. We talked about the beginning of the decline with Unmasked and then a significant comeback with Revenge. In this episode, we will take a slightly different approach. Instead of talking about a specific album, we will dig into an era that, for most of KISS fans, was a definite inflexion point. The 95-96 era marked the real “Return of KISS” or at least the big comeback of the fantastic four. Question is…..Was the Reunion the LAST recourse for KISS?
Today’s guest is a person who’s been in the music business for his entire life. A man who followed his passion and dreams to the extent of following the band to endless shows and acquiring the most prized possessions that can be cataloged as a real “fan’s dream collection”. With more than 5,000 objects exhibited in more than 500 square meters to delight KISS and rock fans, this man created the well-known KISS Lounge. The KISS Lounge is not only the only bar-museum dedicated to KISS in the world, but also, it is the only music-themed bar-museum in the world dedicated to a single group or artist. In our last Discussion Panel, we looked at Revenge and how that era was the beginning of KISS’ comeback. In this episode, we will look at the Unmasked album. Do you agree with the last panel of the Unmasked cover that KISS stunk or do you believe they in fact, didn’t stink?

This episode will have a different take on our usual fan Profile. It’s more of a cross between a fan profile and a panel discussion. Fans often discuss 70’s and 80’s KISS, but what is often overlooked is the relevance and importance of the band in the Millennium era. To discuss this, we are joined by the hosts of the KISS Army Things Podcast…we welcome to the show, Zander and Jeb Talkington.
