Shepherding Chaos is the retail technology podcast from Retail247. Firstly a little explanation of the name, we’ve always felt that retail is a by nature a fairly chaotic world, we don’t mean that in a derogatory fashion but there are just so many variables at play. Sales driven by environment, circumstance and changing customer preference including the technology they want, and are prepared to use. Being involved in retail businesses that are constantly on the edge of change has led us to believe that the best way of dealing with this scenario is to acknowledge and embrace change and to manage through a process of encouragement, shepherding if you like, rather than blind rule following. In this podcast we'll take a light hearted view of all things retail technology.
