God's Word has power. The Word of God is liberating.
Paul says, "The Gospel cannot be chained" and he says this while he is in a very, very bad situation: he is in prison. No situation nor any power can stop the Word of God from being effective. It is a sharpened sword, it is active, and it is alive. The Word of God is the Word Incarnate, Jesus Christ.
Who wants Mary to visit them today?
She is the new Ark of the Covenant, a model of the faithful Christian, a teacher of gratitude to God, and so much more. We are invited to be just like Mary, so when we bring Christ to the world we become beacons of joy just like the Virgin Mary.
God is calling us to be holy.
