We inherit a lot of things from our family. Besides genetic traits like eye color, our family’s experiences tend to influence how we think about money and what we think success should look like.

Let's chat about generational money, success, and suffering. This is a juicy topic, so we’re going to really break it down in this episode. We’ll cover:

  • What is generational guilt, and how can you stop letting it affect you?
  • Four questions you can ask yourself to start to break down your generational mindset
  • The importance of overcoming generational suffering and understanding that you don't need to suffer to be successful
  • How to move forward with this knowledge while continuing to honor your ancestors

If you feel stuck in your own business, like it is running you instead of you running it, I'm here to tell you that it doesn't have to be that way. After building my own business into a self-sustaining company, I now teach and help other women take intentional steps away from their employee role and step INTO the Blissed Out Boss that they've always desired to be.

Welcome back to the Blissed Out Boss show! We’re still in Colorado, loving going to the dog park everyday with the girls, and continuing our house hunting journey.

One of the common fears that holds us back from starting a business, or setting off on any new challenge is, "What if I’m not good enough?" It’s essential to recognize your worth and be confident, especially when you have to deal with potentially unhappy clients. In this episode, I'll share my four-step process for overcoming a dissatisfied customer.

Remember you have the power to create, change and adjust as your business grows. Sometimes it's important to go through your client list and think about if you have outgrown any of them. It happens, and it’s nothing to feel guilty or stressed about. To help make the process as seamless as possible, check out my guilt-free breakup templates!

Do you ever feel bogged down and anxious? Sometimes you just need to get back to nothing.

We’ve been in Colorado for two weeks now. After adjusting to the altitude and getting settled, we've been having a great time running into local friends, taking our two golden doodles to the park twice a day, and seeing lots of wildlife. We haven’t made it up to the slopes yet because it’s been insanely windy!

Do you remember that feeling as a kid during summer break, where there was no weight on your shoulders from having to be anywhere, and you’re able to just be? That’s why I love Colorado. Everything slows down, and people aren't in a hurry. It's a wonderful, magical feeling of nature and peace.

When you slow down, a lot of things become more clear, including your priorities. When you're always doing, you can't hear your creative intuition. And as creators, that's the magic that separates us.

It's important to know that when you are feeling overwhelm, you are not alone. Lean on the people you trust, outsource when possible, and know that you aren't the only one that has ever felt it, I even feel it about my move right now!
